11/02/2026: Great pub. Looks like they boxed up a London boozer and reassembled in Geneva. Good beer, barman had excellent dry sense of humour and tolerated 2 Englishmen really well.

09/03/2026: Avoid this restaurant at all costs. It's deteriorated significantly in recent months, even though we used to come quite often. The hygiene is appalling from the very start of service (doesn't anyone check?), there's residue in the cups, sticky tables and floors, grease stains on the walls and windows, dust everywhere, stomach aches after eating the hamburgers, and the toilets are beyond words...
08/03/2026: A very bad experience at this McDonald's in Valserhône. The restaurant was dirty, the trays were filthy, and the inside smelled terrible. The staff's hygiene was also appalling: I saw one employee wipe his nose with his sleeve before serving and another handling a trash can while handing burgers to customers. Frankly, it's worrying for a restaurant.

01/03/2026: The showers and toilets are currently being renovated in containers outside. Only the cafes and the store are open. The lines are huge, but you can safely go there either in the morning or in the evening. 🌙 The renovations are apparently long-term, so keep that in mind when planning your weekend. Everything is working on the other side. If you're staying here, you can cross the bridge before the exit to the parking lot. There are gates everywhere, so you don't have to climb over the fence. Good luck.
24/12/2025: I was just lucky to stop by and park here, and I stayed there from December 24, 2025, to December 26, 2025.
The girl at the checkout was great, polite and friendly, and the restrooms and showers were clean, which is why I love France.
You can always find a parking spot.
I recommend it.

20/03/2026: This is the second time I've ordered from Edessa via Uber Eats, and both times there's been a mistake with the meat and sauce selection: minced steak instead of kefta. The steak was tasteless and unseasoned. I ordered curry sauce, but I received a flavorless white sauce. A huge disappointment.
19/03/2026: It's simple, it's the only kebab shop in the area I go to. For me, it's the best in Bourg and the surrounding area, and I've been going there with my family for years, so I don't understand the negative reviews. We've always been well served by the owner and the staff. The kebabs are very generous and well-filled, the meat is excellent and high quality—I don't know of a better kebab shop. Plus, it's clean and hygienic, unlike other kebab shops I've seen in the past. And most of the time, it's very quick. I think the negative reviews come from competitors because I've never gotten sick or had any problems. They've never made a mistake with the sauces or anything else in the order. I highly recommend it!

22/03/2026: I was disappointed with this McDonald's. First of all, the food was cold.
I ordered an orange juice that was really bad, I wouldn't even say drinkable. I asked for another one, but they were out.
So I really didn't enjoy my meal. If you have a choice, go somewhere else; you'll get more for your money.

At the register, there was an extra charge of 10 or 30 cents depending on the dessert chosen.
Furthermore, the cold drink ended up being hot… €26 for 2 meals!!!!!

19/01/2026: We were passing through the same area and decided to visit the hotel to inquire about reservations and services. The closer we got, the more impressed we were. Upon arrival, we were in for a surprise: the place was breathtaking and absolutely stunning. The reception was incredibly warm and welcoming, especially from receptionist Sonya, who facilitated our check-in process and offered competitive prices. Thanks to her, we had the most wonderful time of our trip. The rooms were modern, beautiful, and luxurious, and the mountain view was breathtaking. It's one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever visited. We also had the pleasure of using the private sauna, which was incredibly relaxing and soothing for both mind and body. Thank you, Jiva Hill Resort, thanks to everyone the Owners the staff and thank you, Sonya, for making this experience so enjoyable.🙏❤️🥰😇😍

30/09/2024: Very beautiful site near the Rhône, magnificent terrace during sunny days.
The cuisine is homemade, with very good French products. A quick lunch menu at 17€50, or 14€50 for the set menu, very good and plentiful. A la carte costs around €10 for a starter, between €20 and €27 for a main course and between €5 and €10 for a dessert.
The waitress is very friendly.
24/09/2024: We needed to fill our bellies after a long day in Walibi. We had a blast. A real country restaurant with good products and authentic, gourmet dishes.
