19/09/2024: Disclaimer. I never got to do an actual tasting but still would like to share my experience. Got an online reservation for lunch the day before and received confirmation email(as it turned out later it was a waiting list confirmation). Not suspecting anything the three of us arrive at 12 noon. The place looks very nice and upscale and is completely empty, except for a few workers. The man in front, who is meeting us, speaking perfect English, quickly found us in the computer and seemed to be visibly annoyed with us. "Its always a problem with you, foreigners" that you can't understand what's in the email, it clearly says "waiting list" and so on and so forth. We politely inquired that may be we can seat at the bar or anywhere in the corner and just taste a few wines. He said it is absolutely not possible, that he is expecting a large party any minute now and did not suggest any alternatives for us. He clearly wanted us to leave, which we did. we certainly did not appreciate his attitude and were taken aback by pure disregard of our situation even though mistake was ours. Will Not attempt to come back. There many other options out there.

09/09/2024: Disinterested help from the employee. In the end we bought some because we are familiar with the wine. After climbing the hermitage, I am looking for some stories and tests instead of having to ask for help

30/09/2024: We bought a pistachio cake for 6 people on a Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. There were 2 cakes left for 4, 2 cakes for 6 and 2 cakes for 8. Happy to find a cake from this renowned pastry chef in Valence at a sure late hour, I would have appreciated being told that this cake was thawed…well just taken out of the freezer because we drove 40 minutes, and ate this cake at 10:30 p.m. and the pistachio mousse was still not defrosted. Fortunately we did not intend to freeze it because everyone knows the consequences of such an act....in the future I would ask for more precision on the manufacturing date.

05/10/2025: I'm only giving one star to everyone, even though I didn't try a single dish. However, I'm very disappointed with the manager. I came this Sunday morning to help my friend Ludo with his music. He's an amazing guy, but unfortunately, he's being exploited by this kind of person. I played for two hours, and no one asked me if we wanted a drink. My poor Ludo played for free for his terrace (it was a gift), he didn't even give him a ticket, and worst of all, he didn't even offer him a portion of fries. Well done, and I'll never set foot in the house of someone who treats people like nobody's business again.

28/11/2025: I ate there yesterday and was very disappointed. My partner and I had terrible stomach pains a few hours after McDonald's. The servers got our orders wrong, and everything was rushed. And don't even get me started on the overcooked fries with a minimal, if any, amount of cheddar cheese, even though I paid extra for it. An employee confirmed that this wasn't normal. The managers were helpful, thank you, but I was very disappointed. Avoid it if you don't want a stomach ache and to vomit at midnight…

19/11/2025: Absolutely fantastic! 👌🏼 The only downside is the lack of non-alcoholic cocktails or beers 🤷🏼‍♀️ That would be great! 🤗

09/09/2025: Simply brilliant, the concept of an open stage on Tuesday evenings is fantastic. It's an opportunity to share a musical moment with musicians, sometimes just passing through!

15/11/2024: Poor quality food (pizza toppings among others), not good beer, more than unpleasant welcome and often a lot of waiting without even a gesture, a peanut to wait or even just a smile) And no, I didn't go to the wrong establishment, as is often your answer! Here in Buis people know! It's been more than 10 years that from time to time I have tried to come again and each time the same observation! No wonder the Buxois are no longer there in number

10/11/2024: Really not great, the fries, if you can call them fries, soaked in oil! inedible, very noisy, I do not recommend.

31/08/2024: We eat very well and the price remains reasonable Ps add more potatoes with the steak otherwise everything is great!

19/09/2024: Clean rooms, comfortable bedding. Clean bathroom and toilet The only criticism is that the bathroom is small. Little space when going to the toilet 🚻 Not a great location for tourism

17/09/2024: To flee!!! Small room, bad mattress! I didn't sleep all night! A strong person doesn't fit in the shower! No restaurant, the cook apparently resigned a few days before! For breakfast, we went down a little before 9am, there was nothing left to eat, we had to wait for her to prepare some pastries again and bring bread. No coffee, the machine wasn't working! As for the disabled room, there should be a control because it is so small that I don't see how a person in a wheelchair can get in and even for a person like me who has a disability, it's very complicated to go to bed! This hotel deserves to close!
