19/02/2026: Well, there's not much positive to say... Nothing works! Plenty of self-service kiosks, okay... They're incredibly slow and filthy. Even when McDonald's is almost empty at 2:30 PM... it's still not fast. And the worst part is, McDonald's is filthy, the tables aren't cleaned even though there's hardly anyone there. Finally, the price is high considering the tiny portion of fries crammed into that kind of fry container; it's nowhere near the same size as a medium in Switzerland. Yet the price is the same. At that point, you might as well eat at Autogrill or suck on the gravel in the parking lot!

11/02/2026: We ordered a McFlurry, they served it half full and without the extras, and when we complained they sent us away!

05/10/2025: I'm only giving one star to everyone, even though I didn't try a single dish. However, I'm very disappointed with the manager. I came this Sunday morning to help my friend Ludo with his music. He's an amazing guy, but unfortunately, he's being exploited by this kind of person. I played for two hours, and no one asked me if we wanted a drink. My poor Ludo played for free for his terrace (it was a gift), he didn't even give him a ticket, and worst of all, he didn't even offer him a portion of fries. Well done, and I'll never set foot in the house of someone who treats people like nobody's business again.

15/11/2025: Visited recently on 11/14/25 Indeed, it's a small, dark, and rather disorganized dive. I've known this place for decades. But it also has a Scottish (or Irish) pub vibe where the people are friendly, and you hear English spoken very often. I've even gone there with my young daughters without any worries. The draft beer menu that day wasn't particularly British, but it was quite extensive.

08/01/2026: The Sure by Best Western Valence Nord hotel previously belonged to the Campanile chain, so it's impossible to know if its layout is typical of Best Western hotels. However, the service is excellent. We did notice that the showers in all the rooms are very small. The English expression is "you can't swing a cat." In winter, a hot shower is ideal for stretching your muscles. I had therefore planned to give it 3 stars, but this morning, breakfast was impeccable (the waitress gave me permission to mention her name in this review). Sandie had prepared a lovely assortment of cold cuts, hard-boiled eggs, cheeses, fresh fruit, honey, jams, hazelnut spread, tea, and coffee. One of the eggs was runny, so she made us some piping hot scrambled eggs. We also noticed the napkins placed on the bread to encourage guests not to cut it with just their hands. It's the little details that make all the difference. The bread was exceptional (texture and flavor). Sandie therefore deserves 5 stars. I hope this review will be helpful to new guests regarding the showers (the water was always hot, which was very much appreciated). It would be better to place the tissues on one side rather than in the middle, as the bathroom shelf is small and you also need to put your bag on it.

23/02/2026: The staff is incredibly unpleasant, the chairs and tables are filthy, as are the toilets (which I won't even bother describing). It's expensive and stingy with the portions; I won't be going back. Plus, sometimes you have to wait an hour for a measly tray of fries.

17/02/2026: Do you like eating cold food? Then go for it.... The worst McDonald's we've ever been to.

02/03/2026: Tables very often dirty. Service staff very often tense...you have to check everything because there are so many mistakes. Trash cans full at midday, afternoon, and evening. And very small portions!!! Caesar salad €11.90 (see photo)...according to the manager: "McDonald's guidelines are for austerity."

01/03/2026: I've never seen a McDonald's so dirty. I arrived at 12:45 and not a single table was clean. You ask them, and they never come to clean. And the toilets? Don't even get me started. The food was cold.

28/01/2026: I stopped by today between noon and 2 pm, a Wednesday... and despite the crowds in the dining room and at the drive-thru, I was served very quickly. My order was complete, and I was even served at my table by a very friendly and professional woman. Thank you.
