04/04/2024: We tried more than once to come without booking, no place. This time we booked. A warm and very smiling welcome. Our very pleasant server Tony. We talked a little with him. We are the Stéphanois. The meal was delicious and very filling. We will come back.

01/04/2024: Very efficient service with always a smile from the team. Very, very good value for money for a meal on the slopes. A very varied menu with mountain dishes and also a great suggestion of desserts. Everything is very plentiful. In short, a very good time.
28/03/2024: We had lunch at the Barjo restaurant and I was able to taste Berthoud there, which I didn't know.
And what a discovery it was, a pure delight!
The terrace is very pleasant in good weather

04/04/2024: Very good restaurant located at the bottom of the ski slopes. We had pizza and they were delicious. Impeccable service, a little waiting but not excessive. And a little attention for my 2 year old son that we appreciated (a small plate so we could give him a few pieces of our pizzas).
The atmosphere was great and the view was magnificent over the snow-capped mountains.

24/03/2024: Just eaten our dessert in our hotel as the staff were so rude we decided to eat mains and leave. Took our order, put food in front of us and that is as far as the service went. Didn’t even offered a drink, guessing because we are not French. Felt so uncomfortable. Highlight of the meal when the fuses blew and we were plunged into darkness.

We went back, and despite a cordial welcome, the pancakes were really bad: almost cold, and dry. We were very disappointed.

Chalet Refuge du Pre de Madame Carle

20/03/2024: First customers for the opening weekend of the shelter. I know that putting 5 stars everywhere may seem suspicious but everything was wonderful, the welcome, the refuge, the site, the meals, the hikes and even the snow... without forgetting Fabrice the caretaker. Particularly recommended.
