03/04/2024: We had an incredible experience at Tours à Table! From the warm welcome to the delightful cooking session, every moment was filled with joy and learning. The recipes shared were not only delicious but also easy to follow. Our hosts were incredibly hospitable, making us feel right at home. We truly enjoyed our time and would highly recommend Tours à Table to anyone looking for an authentic culinary experience in Tours. Thank you for a memorable time!

11/05/2024: Samedi 11 mai 2024, 20h30 Arrivés à l'heure, une jeune femme nous (2 personnes) a refoulés sous prétexte que la réservation était en attente alors que la réservation était bien confirmée par The Fork.  Elle ne nous a même pas demandé notre nom pour vérifier.  Ce n'est ni poli, ni professionnel de sa part, ni digne de son établissement "gastronomique". Comment peut-on attendre l'arrivée des clients pour les refuser sur le pas de la porte ? C'est aussi irrespectueux qu'un client qui a réservé mais ne vient pas.  Moralité, rien ne vaut la réservation par téléphone...  Heureusement un autre restaurant nous a accepté sur la base d'un coup de fil à 20h45 un samedi soir, nous avons été très bien reçus et nous nous sommes régalés !

11/05/2024: While passing through Tours, we arrived a bit by chance... and were enchanted. Very friendly welcome by the owner and waiters, reasonable prices (especially the homemade desserts yum), varied menu and delicious dishes. Address to share!

11/05/2024: Deplorable welcome, unfriendly staff, cuisine leaving something to be desired. The most notable being the dishonesty and bad faith of the manager. For the little story : We (3 people) were received coldly and then seated on a small table for 2 people (a table which could actually have been sufficient given the small portions served afterwards). The manager claims that he cannot seat us a table of 4 people because there would be reservations on all these tables. However, we were taken aback to see that several groups of 4 people were placed on said tables, even though they had obviously not reserved (we could hear them asking the waiter if there was room for lunch for 4). By presenting the person in charge with the facts, the latter denies everything outright while we were witnesses to this scene, as were the new customers. As for the cuisine, it is basic, bland, not very elaborate, and we cannot say that the portions are generous. Finally, if dishonesty is present from the outset, we also feel it in so-called “homemade” desserts when they seem to come straight from an industrial chain. Mr. should possibly consider retraining as a businessman, being probably more interested in the maximum profit of his business than in the well-being of his clients; its activity would then undoubtedly be more sustainable. In conclusion: prefer neighboring restaurants, of which there is no shortage in the area, and whose opinions are perhaps more legitimate.

03/04/2024: Le Voltaire works jointly with the Hôtel Chaptal in Amboise. We had dinner there: well-balanced menu, very friendly service, very reasonable price/quality ratio

02/04/2024: A very nice discovery! I'm always wary of this type of cuisine, thinking I won't have much on my plate. Nay! This was not the case here. Not only is it plentiful, but the products offered are very well made. It’s original, good and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it for a good culinary experience.

11/06/2024: Very good time with the family at the restaurant Le Moulin Fleuri.

10/06/2024: Very pleasant setting and service. The dishes lack a little originality. Glasses of wine, despite high prices, are served well below the usual level.

28/05/2024: Excellent dinner with small heritage during our visit. Very very good value for money, the products are quality, the dishes are generous and the service is perfect.

31/05/2024: What a wonderful find. The food was delicious - duck confit and tataki were the comfort food we needed. Clearly a neighborhood favorite - buzzing with locals. A nice selection of local wines and beers you can buy for takeaway as well. Very friendly service - we were greeted by the owner who was delighted we were there. Make sure to have the brioche ice cream for dessert!

16/04/2024: Pretty good coffee with a nice latte art, nothing to complain about, chai latte good but half of the cup was milk foam so disappointing. The big downside was the cakes, an ultra dry chocolate cake (suitable portion) and a very dry cookie which crumbles a lot, I don't understand how you can serve this kind of pastry, the first Marmiton recipe will be much better than the one this . And when we come to point out that the cookies have a recipe problem, the person can't think of anything better to say than they have no response to give us by giving us more cookies (nice gesture on their part but useless since they are not good). To respond to your comment here are two links that will help you greatly. Absolutely nothing exceptional in these 2 recipes but quite simply much more correct than what can come out of your kitchen (sorry to be dry but when I see that someone takes the trouble to make good coffee I find it a shame ruined everything with the rest) Chocolate Cakes from Once Upon a Time Pastry on YouTube gallyminipatisse/unratable-chocolate-cookies Baker's word, your store will be all the better for it!

29/03/2024: Among my most beautiful discoveries at the Crafted show in St Malo....white stout, Jalapenos, Tone....a real singularity and originality. I agree 200%.

17/02/2024: A bar with very pleasant staff and good advice! Great for discovering craft beers, even when you think you don't like it in the first place!

03/05/2024: Very beautiful building. In the heart of Azur the curtain. Close to good restaurants and the castle. Rooms, spacious, well equipped, great comfort. Staff, Very welcoming. Royal breakfast. Varied. Local and quality products.

28/01/2024: Excellent pizza, with good product, I tried the Tourangelle, a treat! And let’s not talk about the homemade speculoos tiramisu 😋 A very warm welcome, if you are passing through, go there!

21/05/2024: Toujours au rendez vous la qualité des mets, le service excellent. Etablissement qui mérite sans conteste les compliments qui lui sont faits. Maintenant dès lors que nous voulons célébrer un événement nous venons au "bistrot des belles caves".

03/05/2024: Déçu. Très cher pour la qualité des denrées dans l assiette et manque d assaisonnement, cependant belle présentation des plats. La décoration d intérieur mériterait un rafraîchissement. Longue attente par manque de personnel (1h30 entre l arrivee au restaurant et le service des entrées).

16/05/2024: We found this little bar by chance and we had a great evening there! Original and local beers, a platter of quality cold meats and cheeses. I recommend !

18/04/2024: Nice bar for a moment of relaxation, pleasantly welcomed. User-friendly. Delicious and hearty sharing platter. Very large room, and nice terrace when the sunny days arrive 😊
