15/07/2024: Nous y sommes venus 4 ou 5 fois et la qualité a toujours été là. Le cadre est magnifique, la cuisine excellente et le service impeccable L'accueil est agréable et nous voulions y revenir, peut-être pour notre anniversaire de mariage qui était dans quelques jours Nous apprenons malheureusement que le restaurant ferme définitivement ses portes... Quelle tristesse!

10/07/2024: Excellent cuisine, polite and fast waiter as well as more than adequate advice. Very friendly setting (although unable to enjoy the outside due to the presence of mosquitoes, but this cannot in any way be attributed to the establishment!) The products are of quality, a surprising appetizer that I have for my share appreciated! Little extra: the floral decorations are from the garden!

21/10/2024: Meal this lunch for the first time even though I have been nearby for more than 2 years, I regret not having come earlier 😉 the place is very nice for a wine cellar, the owner as well as the staff are very pleasant. The auction board and the dishes that followed were excellent. Little dedication to the boss, don't type the "FRONT ON" loved it ✌️.

14/09/2024: Such a great place to spend a night in Tours! The owner and stuff are super friendly and the variety of drinks is super. They offer as well a lot of nice snacks. We spent a whole evening there and felt so well. Definitely would recommend to go there while visiting Tours!!!

02/01/2025: Excellent food! Lovely all around. Pear appetizer with bacon was phenomenal and the duck and steak were excellent! And the sauces! Quality from start to finish.

25/08/2024: A very nice discovery! I recommend this address with my eyes closed: a card which is not as long as an arm but which is extremely effective. From starter to dessert, it’s zero fault. First time I have come to this restaurant and I will definitely come back.

25/08/2024: An excellent discovery. A true gourmet restaurant, no doubt about it. The setting is neat, the dishes from the Tasting menu are very successful with perfectly mastered juices, a delight. A lovely culinary journey throughout the meal, served for the occasion by the chef himself, which allowed us to talk a little about cooking, the icing on the cake! Rather affordable prices considering the service. We will come back, that's a certainty.

08/01/2025: Excellent welcome, with a smile. The complete formula at 17 euros is worth the detour, with tasty homemade terrine and various raw vegetables as desired, and an excellent rump steak with shallot sauce accompanied by homemade fries. I recommend, and will definitely come back 😄👌

17/10/2024: Wunderbarer Ort, gegenüber des Schlosses von Amboise. Sehr leckere Drinks und sehr gutes Essen. Le Shaker muss man unbedingt besuchen! Leckere Drinks, super Aussicht, gute Küche, das Team: alles phantastisch!!!! Wer nicht im Le Shaker war, war nicht in Amboise.

05/10/2024: Toujours aussi bien après quelques années. Fréquenté par les locaux et les touristes. Et quelle vue sur le château royal d'Amboise notamment à la tombée de la nuit.

22/09/2024: Found this by chance during a cycle trip in the Loire Valley and it might've been our favourite place of the whole trip! Burger and fries were top notch, perfect for a post-cycle, and the beer was great too. Friendly bar staff and great laid-back, non-fusty atmosphere.

15/12/2024: Vraiment très déçus, nous nous sommes rendu en famille (6 personnes) accueil de la manageuse peu aimable, arrivés à 12h10 salle remplie à moitié la commande est vite prise, à 13h on vient s'excuser nous disant on a oublié de lancer votre commande. 13h20 enfin nos burgers arrivent (les 6 steaks saignants arrivent archi cuit, la serveuse (très aimable et désolée) nous propose de changer mais après avoir attendu plus d'1h nous refusons, les frites bonnes mais on pourrait les compter sur les doigts des mains tellement il y en a peu. Elle nous dit que nous aurons un dédommagement à la fin. Enfin on m'apporte mon dessert incomplet il faut encore attendre. Au final on nous fait 20 % au lieu des 10 % prévu quand je dis que je trouve que c'est peu le manager qui encaisse me prend de haut et est désagréable. Je lui explique que c'est notre tradition depuis des années de venir en famille juste avant Noël et que jusqu'à maintenant nous étions satisfaits, et toujours cet air de supériorité. Je lui ai dit que nous ne reviendront plus et il a trouvé cela très bien ! Lamentable !!!!

20/11/2024: Ça sent bon la cuisine maison ! Le pain est bon aussi c’est important. J’ai pris le menu du jour entrée plus plat 16,50 €. C’était parfait.

05/11/2024: Service rapide avec le sourire, salade aux chèvres : salade fraîche, oignons confits top, Burger très copieux pour Monsieur, le tout avec un pichet de Chinon plutôt sympa pour le prix.

The food and wine pairings are a must-try, well thought out, original and tailored to your needs! A perfect wine list for wine lovers who can even buy their bottle at their nearby cellar for more than fair prices! We will come back for sure!
