07/12/2025: Situation recap: me, a girlfriend, and a friend
IT WAS AWFUL. We arrived with a maximum of 10 people, all men. The women introduced me and my girlfriend.
A disaster. It was incredibly awkward, a cold atmosphere, constant discomfort. We didn't even know where to look, it was so embarrassing. And paying €34 for a Coke and two Desperados? What a joke!
RUN AWAY!
07/12/2025: Arriving at 2 a.m. on a Saturday, the experience was disappointing from the very first second. The main room is tiny, lacking atmosphere, and feels completely neglected.
The reception didn't help: the manager's reaction upon seeing us was, to say the least, bizarre and only exacerbated the discomfort.
The bar prices are simply incomprehensible: €34 for two Desperados and a Coke. At that level, it's more about exaggeration than service.
With so little entertainment and such a poor atmosphere, there's no reason to want to explore the rest of the place. As for the advertised €40 rate for single men, it's completely unjustified given the quality of the drinks offered.

12/04/2026: I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this McDonald's.
I ordered a hot chocolate and a cookie with table service. After waiting for over 10 minutes without receiving anything, I noticed that an employee had placed my order on another table, even though the numbered table stand was clearly visible and identified mine. This mistake was entirely avoidable.
When the employee finally came to bring it to me, I politely refused to take it for hygiene reasons: I didn't know if other customers had touched it in the meantime. Instead of understanding my legitimate concern or apologizing, he simply sighed loudly with an annoyed and dismissive attitude.
Between the excessive wait, the delivery error, and this blatant lack of professionalism, this visit was a real disappointment. The customer service at this establishment clearly needs improvement. I do not recommend it.
I left without collecting my order. Keep the money, it's free.
12/04/2026: Staff was g9od and helpful, food was nice. Need to improve cleaning, some flies in sitting area.

22/04/2026: Extremely slow service; the employees, even when you're the only customer, spend more time chatting amongst themselves or with their friends. There are always oversights in orders, mistakes like a Croque McDo served without the ham… For almost €4 for a Croque McDo with two ingredients, it's a shame to forget one. In short, this McDonald's is a disaster.

11/04/2026: No hello, no goodbye, I ask what the menus are and I'm told everything is written on the board, and at the end the tomatoes in the sandwich are green.
04/04/2026: We often come to the Columbus on Rue de Vesle.
The muffins and drinks are very good, but the major drawback is the lack of welcome and friendliness from the staff. Two employees give us the cold shoulder when we walk into the restaurant; we really feel like we're bothering them. Last time, after a misunderstanding about an order (worth about €6...), one of them was almost aggressive in her words. When a job isn't right for you, maybe you should change jobs!
We won't be going back.

It says open from 11am to 10pm. The restaurant was closed; you should change your hours if you're not open. Disappointed.

26/02/2026: It's going downhill, like many kebab shops in the city, often running out of fried food on the menu. I used to be a regular, but on my last two orders placed there, they got the sandwiches wrong. Once was okay, but twice in a row for a regular who always orders the same thing is a lot, plus the owner isn't very friendly.
22/02/2026: I ordered a kebab plate, a generous portion, piled high with excellent meat, and above all, a ton of sauce! Truly excellent, you can go there without hesitation!

15/11/2025: Order placed at 7:30 PM for 8:30 PM
3 giant pizzas with a soft crust.
9 PM, still nothing! I called, and they said my pizzas had just gone in the oven.
9:20 PM, 50 minutes late, and the pizzas are of deplorable quality!!
The crust is incredibly thin, even though I asked for a soft crust, and there's no topping at all!
Too bad I can't attach a photo!

I called him last night (a Saturday night) to ask for two Mario figurines because they were the last two I needed, and he gave them to me for free. He was so incredibly kind. Anyway, a huge thank you to the gentleman, and here's my collection :))
02/05/2026: And there you have it, I just went through the drive-thru, and they've forgotten things I paid for again, I should point out. And everything is cold, the fries are horribly soggy and unsalted, they even put pickles on my burger, even though I asked for none. A real bunch of clowns, 'McDonald's Saint Brice Courcelles team'.

17/04/2026: It was extremely unpleasant to wait for my order while witnessing the constant humiliation of what I imagine to be the manager towards the employees. I have rarely seen someone excel at such disrespect.
10/04/2026: I don't deserve any better from someone who calls me a liar and tells me straight to my face that I didn't stop at the self-service kiosk. I did stop at the kiosk, and no one answered. Since there were no cars stopped, I walked to the checkout. A car was being served in front of me and left. The guy who was serving me saw me and left me standing there. I went back into the store, and they tell me the drive-thru is open because I didn't stop? Hire some competent people; maybe there will be a few more customers.

25/03/2026: Hello, I happened to stop by this McDonald's in Vitry-le-François today on a whim (I usually go to Saint-Dizier) to take advantage of the daily deals. I went inside to save time, and at the kiosk, I was told that the deals required using the internet, which I did. I completed the process using the app. After payment and order confirmation (received by SMS and email) and the debit from my bank account, I wanted to pick up my order. Despite this, I was told I couldn't retrieve it because nothing was displayed on their screen. I asked to see the manager, who came to me, but I'm still wondering why, since this gentleman wasn't able to find a solution in 40 minutes. Despite proving my good faith with all my order confirmations, I had to leave without my order and with my account debited at 5:30 PM (which is now 8:36 PM and I still haven't received a refund). I'm very disappointed by his incompetence and lack of professionalism. I've never seen anyone else (one wonders how he ever became a manager and led a team) try to help me, but without this man's approval, they couldn't do anything. The takeaway? Run away!

21/12/2023: Je viens souvent car il est situé en face de chez moi mais dans la majorité des cas il y a un problème… La dernière fois il n’y avait pas de frites dans ma commande, l’autre fois le sandwich était incomplet et ce soir : je paie un McCrispy pour au final me retrouver avec le filet de poulet du McChicken… Le temps d’attente est relativement long et la nourriture toujours froide…
Le seul point positif est la gentillesse des salariés qui sont très polis et chaleureux. Possible d’améliorer les points cités ci-dessus SVP ?
20/12/2023: Cela fait 3 fois que je commande et trois fois que la nourriture est froide nous avons des frites froides carrément réchauffer ou les sandwiches pareil.
Le personnel qui me regarde et jette un sourire en ce moquant de moi!
C’est la troisième et dernière fois que je me déplace pour manger dans ce McDo!
Quand j’ai demandé de changer les frites la jeune qui étais au comptoir et reparti mettre les frites froide dans l’huile pour nous servir!
Et pour ajouter la quantité de la nourriture ne sont pas du tout pareil!
Aucun respect et le travail et pas respecté!
C’est honteux.

21/07/2024: Cela fait maintenant plusieurs années que nous nous rendons "Chez Max" chaque fois que nous sommes en Champagne.
Accueil toujours aussi chaleureux par Monsieur. Service aux petits soins. Cuisine traditionnelle de grande qualité. Produits frais joliment préparés. Bon rapport qualité/prix. A la prochaine....nous reviendrons !
19/07/2024: Je komt hier niet bij toeval terecht. Hoewel op loopafstand van centrum van Épernay, ligt het restaurantje een beetje uit de route. Ook de buitenkant wekt niet de indruk dat je hier binnengaat in een prima restaurant met traditioneel Franse keuken met veel liefde voor het vak.
Wij komen om 19 uur als eersten binnen in restaurant en worden vriendelijk verwelkomd door eigenaar Max. Binnen een half uur zitten beide verdiepingen van het restaurant echter vol.
Kaart met traditioneel Franse gerechten. De, door Max aan tafel bereidde, steak tartare is een aanrader (en populair).
Prima prijs-/kwaliteitverhouding.
