21/07/2024: Cela fait maintenant plusieurs années que nous nous rendons "Chez Max" chaque fois que nous sommes en Champagne. Accueil toujours aussi chaleureux par Monsieur. Service aux petits soins. Cuisine traditionnelle de grande qualité. Produits frais joliment préparés. Bon rapport qualité/prix. A la prochaine....nous reviendrons !

19/07/2024: Je komt hier niet bij toeval terecht. Hoewel op loopafstand van centrum van Épernay, ligt het restaurantje een beetje uit de route. Ook de buitenkant wekt niet de indruk dat je hier binnengaat in een prima restaurant met traditioneel Franse keuken met veel liefde voor het vak. Wij komen om 19 uur als eersten binnen in restaurant en worden vriendelijk verwelkomd door eigenaar Max. Binnen een half uur zitten beide verdiepingen van het restaurant echter vol. Kaart met traditioneel Franse gerechten. De, door Max aan tafel bereidde, steak tartare is een aanrader (en populair). Prima prijs-/kwaliteitverhouding.

Prices are fair for the quality Don’t hesitate to go there with friends for a drink or a bite to eat.

14/09/2024: Superb evening at the Glue Pot, the cozy and musical atmosphere was very pleasant, all the dishes ordered were very tasty and well executed with particular effort on presentation. Nothing to say about the service which was also perfect. We will come back, thank you!

28/09/2024: We have been customers for several years and we come several times despite our 1 hour round trip drive. We are very disappointed and we were surprised to see the staff change and the appearance of the terminal to order the hamburger now looks like a fast food restaurant rather than a restaurant. Everything is calculated, no more bottles of sauce on the tables, this is put in small plastic pots that they don't even fill! (not very eco-friendly even though we had taken the menus on site). The burger bread has changed (good but it's no longer the artisanal bread from before) as well as the recipe, very salty fries, very thin slice of raclette etc.. We miss the old chef and the old team, it's no longer the same atmosphere... Really a shame we went there as a family because it was our favorite restaurant to eat a good, elaborate burger. Finally, prices have increased by €14 for a burger, fries and drink menu and €17 for the XL menu. This is clearly exaggerated, especially when the quality drops.

12/08/2024: Spontaneously had the daily dish “Plat du your” for lunch and we were thrilled. DELICIOUS. The staff was totally friendly and quick. Price/performance absolutely fine.

31/08/2024: It's the first time I'm going there, I had a great time 👍👍👍 too bad all the parking is paid I live 30km away so I'm not going to get there by bike!!! and don't tell me about the trains!! ! . So personally for me I ban the center of Reims I go to the shopping centers. Besides he should settle in Cormontreuil that would be great

28/03/2024: Warm welcome and kebab meat to die for! If you are looking for an excellent kebab in Châlons, look no further, Le Turquoise will seduce you. Very generous with the quantities, with ingredients, I highly recommend this restaurant. Their baklava is also delicious! ✨

23/03/2024: Nothing to say ! We go there often. Best chalon kebab in champagne without doubt. The meat is good, not fatty. The fries are also good and the welcome is great.

09/09/2024: Después de que todo el mundo me dijera que esto es una parada obligada, vinimos antes de encontrar la cena. El ambiente es espectacular, con un torbellino de oportunidades para degustar. El servicio era excelente y todos tenían sugerencias para el estilo que estabas buscando. Muy recomendable para cualquiera que aprecie las casas más pequeñas y la complejidad que ofrecen los productores. Además, no te saltes las tablas de queso o carne.

13/08/2024: I'm going to start this review with the positive things because it will be very quick: air conditioning when it's 35°C outside Having worked in a Subway myself for a few years, I know the procedures very well, which is why I am taking the liberty of writing this review. We were served by the manager Lucile and what can we say... - The welcome was non-existent: no response to “hello”, not even a glance. - When ordering she seemed disgusted to serve us, we had the impression of being a nuisance. She doesn't listen, for example I ask for extra meat in my sandwich, she moves on to the next one so I have to repeat several times for each change. - The proportions were ridiculous, I learned to add two spoons of meat, we barely got one. - The parmesan & oregano breads were barely seasoned, they look more like white breads. - Grated Emmental cheese which is extra (???) while American cheese is not. - When toasting, a slice of salami remains stuck to the bottom, nothing serious, but why put a cold slice among the rest of the hot meat? - As for the choice of vegetables, there are simply no more. When I worked at Subway the motto was simple "You're the boss", so why can't I choose my vegetables. I had a roast chicken, the vegetables are not predefined. - Speaking of vegetables, we arrived 2 hours before closing and there was no more salad, it takes 30 seconds to cut with the electric slicer. - I asked for sweet onion sauce and there was no more at the counter, she looks in the fridge behind and I see one but informs us that there is no more, it was in the left door I know that they are intended to replace those on the counter. - During checkout I tell her twice that we will have them as a menu and then asks me the next moment if we wish to make menus, once again she does not listen to the comments. - And finally, no polite words when we leave, two syllables must be hard to pronounce. In short, a very disappointing visit, I don't even understand how she was able to pass as manager.

18/09/2024: La comida era fantástica aquí. Panes caseros y una buena variedad de sándwiches inventivos con productos caseros para untar, verduras frescas, cuencos, personal de bienvenida. Los precios son más que justos. Un lugar sólido para un delicioso almuerzo informal.

18/03/2024: Delicious chocolates, especially the pralines. The éclairs are good (excellent choux pastry, not too much sugar) but the cream lacks a little taste. Very nice home. A must-try chocolatier in Reims.

14/07/2024: The bakery is constantly closed even though logically it is supposed to be open. It's not the first time that I go there and find myself in front of the door with the blinds closed.. I wonder if I will be able to have breakfast every morning.. when an exceptional closing takes place, we are notified at the last moment (in the evening for the next day, or the day before for the next day) what would be good is to be warned 1 or 2 weeks in advance. In addition the price of the baguette has changed but the size itself, has diminished, the mixture is swollen with air, more crust than crumb! even the Carrefour baguette has more crumb. A flash not far from 3€? in some bakeries the eclair is 2€ or less and is just as good… mediocre…

27/06/2024: Super ambiance dans ce pub qui anime VLF, j’ai été bien accueillie par les gérants et j’ai tout de suite été servie sans attente. Je recommande fortement, si vous passez par Vitry c’est une bonne adresse !
