25/05/2026: Exceptional from start to finish! Honestly, Mamie Bigoude in Tours is a gem. An incredible atmosphere, magnificent decor, you feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door. And the team… what can I say? Everyone is lovely, smiling, welcoming, and attentive; it's rare to see so much kindness gathered in one place. The service is simply perfect. You can tell that everyone truly loves their work and does everything to ensure you have an exceptional experience. Always a kind word, always a smile, a genuine and contagious good humor. And in terms of quality, it's flawless. Everything is excellent, generous, beautifully presented; you can feel the care in every detail. Honestly, it's been a long time since I've had such a wonderful time. A huge congratulations to the entire team; you are truly the best. If you're in Tours and have never been, go without hesitation; you'll be treated like royalty. For me, it's clearly one of the best places in Tours! 👏✨

12/07/2026: Passing through on our way to our holiday destination, we arrived at 7 pm and waited over 10 minutes before anyone came to see us. When the waiter finally arrived, there were already three families waiting at the entrance. His unpleasant remark was inappropriate, saying, and I quote: "This is a great start, I didn't understand, it's your job, sir." Yes, there are people who come to eat because they're tired from the drive and the heat. The welcome was really not great. The rest of the meal went well, except for the air conditioning which was much too cold, so we really had to rush to eat. The young man who served us wasn't the same one who had been at the entrance, and he was pleasant.

29/06/2026: We arrived at 10 a.m. last night (Sunday) after booking around 9 p.m. We were the only ones in the restaurant. The waitress was absolutely lovely and incredibly patient (thank you so much!) and offered us the various deals, including an all-you-can-eat beef carpaccio for €20.90. One of my friends ordered it. We saw the plate arrive, with maybe four or five slices at most (no big deal, it's all-you-can-eat), and she asked for two more plates, which weren't any more generous... a small detail: the kitchen closes at 10 p.m. For an all-you-can-eat deal, the timing wasn't ideal (especially since the cooks were in such a hurry to leave)... I decided to go straight to the kitchen to ask for a proper, nice, big plate of carpaccio so as not to bother them later and to still be able to enjoy the all-you-can-eat deal. And I ran into a grumpy old cook who stormed off to make the plate. We could hear them grumbling in the kitchen. Great atmosphere… Come on, summer vacation is coming! … Or retirement ;)

14/05/2026: We come here and always return with pleasure! The welcome is very warm, the owner comes to see us regularly, and sometimes even his wife, who cooks. The products are local and fresh, and the food is always excellent. We've been coming for 15 years and we enjoy it every single time!
