19/04/2026: Definitely one of the best restaurants of my life! A starter of sweetbread croquettes, scallops reimagined as a main course, and a lemon tart served in an unusual dish: a perfect meal from start to finish! Bravo to the team! 👏🏻
19/04/2026: The cuisine was simply exceptional. We enjoyed the beef tournedos Rossini and the beef tagliata, both outstanding. For dessert, the banana-chocolate bombe and the "boule de pétanque" (a type of small, round pastry) were also excellent.
The service was impeccable, attentive and refined, with thoughtful touches like the amuse-bouches offered before the courses. The wine selection was also very good and perfectly paired with the dishes.
The restaurant is very popular—reservations are essential—but it's easy to see why: an exceptional place that we recommend without hesitation.

24/04/2026: Waited over half an hour just to have someone take our order, the place wasn't busy at all (us and one other couple sat outside). Staff sat outside eating on the table behind us, while we were clearly waiting to order (same staff sat us down). Had to ask them if we could place our order and felt like we were bothering them (I understand they have to have a break but others had been seated after us and had been served straight away). When our galettes came mine tasted strongly of plastic, it had a really unpleasant flavour and I couldn't finish it. Not a great experience.

We opted for the €27 set menu (starter, main course, dessert).

11/04/2026: The main courses and appetizers were good, but the quality of the desserts has declined, including a sundae with two scoops of ice cream that were already half melted.
The service was very slow, about two hours, even though there were only three of us and it wasn't busy. A smile from one of the waitresses seemed to be optional. Overall, disappointed, especially considering the high prices.

The disappointing points: exorbitant (and prohibitive) prices, the temperature of the galettes (the two Norman galettes arrived barely lukewarm), and the chilliness of the dining room. And to top it all off: the owner rather abruptly refused our payment method. Even though it was good, it's only a 3.

10/05/2026: I'm sorry, but I really had a hard time. We didn't eat the beef carpaccio, the fries had the skins on, and the potatoes were reheated. In short, nothing refined for 73 euros for two people. Only the starter seemed good. The tables were close together. Improvements are needed because at the foot of the castle, it's clearly superior with cheaper set menus.

25/04/2026: Hello, I strongly advise against this restaurant on all counts. I arrived at 9:30 PM for a meal on a Saturday (which, according to Google, closes at midnight). The welcome was icy; they seated us near the restrooms even though the entire dining room was available. The waitress told us to order very quickly because they were about to leave (great for waiters!). The head waiter, a tall man, was the worst waiter I've ever seen in my life—sorry, but he should find another line of work… Anyway, the cocktails were rushed, and our order arrived five minutes later… so we didn't order dessert because we were bothering them… Moral of the story: don't come here, or completely change your staff (and change your hours, because being open until midnight when they say they close at 10 PM is pushing it).

26/04/2026: We really enjoyed our meal; the pizza dough was very thin...the flatbreads were excellent, delicious! In short, we had a wonderful time and we'll be back.
18/04/2026: Things have changed a lot! The portion was very meager for the price! We were very disappointed. In the Nordic salad, the scallops were barely cooked, there were lettuce leaves, four shrimp, and a quarter of a tomato… no terrine, no croutons… nothing like the photos! The same went for the dessert crepe with a quarter of an apple and a very thin drizzle of caramel… What a shame…
