24/05/2026: A great experience at this restaurant. The meat menu was a bit pricey, but very good. Not much else to add. Except for a rather noisy group that was a bit of a nuisance.

14/05/2026: The rib-eye steak was good, the steak tartare not so much. The crème brûlée was soggy. With a completely overwhelmed service team, unable to serve all the guests at the same table simultaneously (the same was true at the next table where one person was served 15 minutes later than the other two), it was an evening not to be repeated. At that price, they should do better.

03/05/2026: Very disappointing, a very cold welcome. We were on the terrace with no parasol. I really don't recommend this bar in Ivronne; only unclean people.

12/04/2026: Danny's hot dogs are to die for! A friendly, rock 'n' roll bar, no pretension, and the staff is fantastic. Special mention for the beers. Go without hesitation if you're visiting Sélestat!

28/05/2026: This restaurant is very well located in Sélestat with a large, shaded terrace. It offers many traditional Alsatian dishes as well as a wide selection of meats. Beef hanger steaks and rib-eye steaks are available in XXL sizes if you wish. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. The prices are more than reasonable. Be sure to book ahead as the terrace fills up quickly.

03/05/2026: The food was very good. There's no fixed menu. I ordered the Alsatian-style chicken breast, which came with green peas, mushroom sauce, morel mushrooms, and gnocchi. It was better than expected, just a little small in portion.

22/11/2025: Very disappointed with the manalas. They've been our favorites for a long time, but this year I find they're not the same as before. They've gone on a serious diet; they used to be nice and plump. And by 3 pm (so not the end of the day), they're almost empty.

04/05/2026: Small, neat Italian restaurant. Had a delicious pizza (pizza with shrimp). Afterwards, dessert (Coupe Charlie Chaplin). The dessert was excellent. Cookie-flavored ice cream, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and (almond) nuts.

20/04/2026: The food was okay, but the ambiance for an Italian restaurant was rather sparse and uninviting. The waitress's unfriendly manner was abysmal; she seemed both annoyed and listless. Friendly service should be the bare minimum and has nothing to do with expertise, but judging by the comments here, it doesn't seem to be an isolated incident… Serves them right if they don't leave a tip…

27/03/2026: On our way back from Strasbourg, we made a spontaneous stop for dinner at this small, simple Asian restaurant. The owner was very welcoming and attentive: we had ordered a plate of spring rolls as a starter, and he brought them to us on two separate plates—a thoughtful touch that's becoming increasingly rare, or at least charged extra! The duck we chose was excellent; only the stir-fried noodles could have been a little more grilled for our taste and perhaps seasoned with a touch of sesame oil. But for the price, we had a lovely time.

24/02/2026: Good food, but be careful to arrive before 1 p.m., otherwise they'll refuse entry. Since we had a reservation, we received a warning about our mistake of arriving at 1:10 p.m.

19/02/2026: Pastry chef, chocolatier, and caterer: a true delight for the palate and a great place for those with a sweet tooth, offering fine and original pastries to enjoy in the tea room or to take away, homemade artisanal ice cream, and even some savory items in the deli section for lunch... Prices are higher than elsewhere, but the quality justifies them...

03/05/2026: Bar overlooking a pedestrian square, a lovely terrace (a few more parasols would be welcome). Quick order taking but a very long wait for our 2 non-alcoholic cocktails ☹️.

13/04/2026: Always a smile, a snack break or a good morning coffee, I can't imagine going anywhere else.
