Both the cabbage and the potatoes were superb; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. To accompany our meal, we tried two spring beers, which were also very good and paired perfectly with the sauerkraut. And to top it all off, the desserts were also excellent! 15/05/2026: We were at Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, and since the restaurant at the castle didn't accept card payments, we went to this restaurant based on a recommendation. My girlfriend immediately tried her first tarte flambée and was very impressed. The roast pork with crackling, as well as the desserts crème brûlée and fondant au chocolat, were also très bien. We didn't speak any French beyond what Google Translate could provide, and she didn't speak any German, but with a bit of gesturing and a little English, it was a very pleasant restaurant visit. We highly recommend it, even if it looks closed from the outside—just walk in.

A special touch was the decorations, brought all the way from Strasbourg for the traditional funfair next door; the atmosphere was fantastic. The service was warm and friendly.
