22/07/2026: Everything was delicious...we tried so many dishes, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the welcome and service were perfect, the owner is friendly, has a great sense of humor and is very smiley...I recommend it 1000%!

22/07/2026: I had sauerkraut. It was a hearty meal, well-garnished with pieces of meat, my only regret was the bland sauerkraut, which wasn't cooked in white wine or seasoned.
19/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at Youpel. The sauerkraut was absolutely delicious and packed with meat. The iced kouglof for dessert was a pure delight. We received a very warm welcome, and a special mention to the waitress (Tiffany or Stéphanie, I think) for her kindness, humor, and attentiveness. It was truly a lovely evening.

03/05/2026: The food was very good. There's no fixed menu. I ordered the Alsatian-style chicken breast, which came with green peas, mushroom sauce, morel mushrooms, and gnocchi. It was better than expected, just a little small in portion.

28/05/2026: This restaurant is very well located in Sélestat with a large, shaded terrace. It offers many traditional Alsatian dishes as well as a wide selection of meats. Beef hanger steaks and rib-eye steaks are available in XXL sizes if you wish. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. The prices are more than reasonable. Be sure to book ahead as the terrace fills up quickly.
28/05/2026: A very good experience with excellent products, convivial dishes, very pleasant service, and helpful advice. I recommend it to discover a lovely menu full of delicious Alsatian specialties at very affordable prices.

It was very nice here, and the beer tasted excellent.
12/07/2026: I can't understand the good reviews. I came here specifically for a cocktail, and they couldn't make me one because no one knew how! Then they made us a so-called Long Island Iced Tea, which was served in an Aperol glass without ice or anything. It was just sort of thrown together. No one here speaks English either. And €7 for a small Baileys is way overpriced. Absolutely not recommended.

The whole team was lovely, smiling, and attentive. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness; we leave with very fond memories of this day. We look forward to returning soon!

26/06/2025: A top-notch bakery and pastry shop! The saleswomen are adorable, cheerful, and always offer good advice. It's a real pleasure to stop by. Everything I've tasted so far has been delicious: chocolates, pastries, cakes... You can feel the quality and craftsmanship in every bite. I recommend it without hesitation!

25/06/2026: Today, June 25th: Friendly service but the equipment leaves much to be desired. I ordered a 50cl beer and it was lukewarm due to the equipment. Ugh, not even cold and very foamy, with 40-degree heat outside! In short, I won't be back.
