10/03/2026: We ate burgers, and they were excellent. We didn't try the pizzas. The service was very friendly too. Just one small complaint about the fries, which were clearly frozen and not up to the standard of the burgers.

14/03/2026: A very warm welcome, a lovely restaurant. The red mullet fillets on a bed of penne pasta with prawns were absolutely delicious. Proof in the picture: the plate was gone... completely empty. I think even the bay leaf almost made it! 😄

30/03/2026: I visited Chez Mario in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. The place is small and simple, barely noticeable from the outside, but it has a familiar and authentic atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pizzas are definitely the highlight: well-cooked, with a crispy, flavorful crust. The cuisine is also traditional Italian. I also really enjoyed the tiramisu, which was truly excellent. The prices are fair and the quality-price ratio is good, especially considering the location near the center and the sea. One note: since it's very popular, it's best to arrive early because the place is a bit small. Overall, I recommend it, especially for the truly excellent pizza.

18/01/2026: We've been enjoying oysters there regularly for years, in every season. The seafood is fresh, served with a delicious local white wine. The setting is very pleasant, and above all, Jessica, the owner, is always welcoming, smiling, and friendly.

25/03/2026: The absolute best ice cream we've ever had! They also serve amazing crêpes and fantastic bubble waffles. The price is completely justified for the huge portion and the superb quality. The ladies behind the counter are incredibly friendly, and the owner himself is a passionate ice cream maker with over 40 years of experience. His enthusiasm for his craft is still palpable, and he makes fresh ice cream daily using only the finest ingredients – you can taste the difference, and the texture is incredibly creamy.

02/11/2025: Excellent ice cream in both texture and taste. Hazelnut, pistachio, chocolate mint, and strawberry basil flavors. The crispy cone, somewhat reminiscent of gavottes (a type of French biscuit), is a nice touch.

07/12/2025: An exceptional place. A truly magical Gypsy evening with live musicians. Genuine people with big hearts. A perfect meal cooked over a wood fire. An atmosphere that deeply touched us. A wonderfully kind and incredibly talented owner who moved us with his magnificent music about our beautiful Camargue. The service was impeccable. The waitresses were highly professional. The logistics were flawless. All this with a smile. The meal was excellent and generous. There was a joyful and heartfelt atmosphere. Hats off!

13/03/2026: Passing through the Camargue on vacation, this restaurant was excellent. Everything is homemade, from the appetizer to the dessert. Exceptional flavors! I highly recommend it; you won't be disappointed!

02/03/2026: I'd spotted this restaurant on Google Maps beforehand. What a great idea! We had a pitcher of sangria here; it was a little spicy but delicious. We also ordered the charcuterie platter, which was incredible, and the croquettes were also very good. A truly flawless experience that earns this place a spot on our list of favorites! Bravo!

10/11/2025: I stumbled upon this tapas restaurant that served after 9 pm. It's worth noting that in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, in winter, it's difficult to find a restaurant still serving after 9 pm. The service from the grandmother is excellent. The atmosphere is friendly, and even if everything isn't homemade, the value is still good. I ended up going two nights in a row. A very good place.

13/11/2025: Refusal to serve the menus displayed outside on November 11th, claiming they were closing the next day. We left because the person told us we hadn't requested them when we made the reservation. Not serving the displayed menus is a first for me!
