23/08/2024: Very pretty pastry shop and tea room, we were very well received, the staff were smiling.
If we can, I think we will come back to try the pistachio flan which we unfortunately did not have time to taste...
Although a little expensive, but it's worth it.

24/01/2026: A wonderful time! The owner was kind enough to let us blow out two candles while singing "Happy Birthday," in a festive and thoughtful atmosphere. The tagliatelle with scallops and pickled red cabbage were delicious, and the desserts were excellent. A warm and delightful interlude.
04/01/2026: An excellent restaurant in Bayeux. Domesday is ideally located right next to the cathedral. The restaurant is run directly by the owner, who is very professional, which is immediately apparent in the organization and the welcome.
The menu features a wide variety of local dishes, well-prepared and true to regional tradition. The service is quick and efficient, perfect even during busy periods, and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality and location. A sure bet in Bayeux, highly recommended.

08/12/2024: Fast food of very good quality, also open on Sundays and there is a choice. We were very well received despite the fact that the manager had to resolve a problem with a group of around ten people who were visibly surly and in bad faith. In business as in life, respect is reciprocal and I have the feeling that the “goodwill” that appeared during Covid is only a distant memory. So this place is, for my wife and me, a place to remember.
10/11/2024: To avoid, or as a last resort. The prices charged (11€ for a complete pancake, neither very good nor copious, the green salad supplement at 2€50) are completely out of sync with the quality of the food and the place: large plates, tables that stick and above all a large hood problem. The room is filled with a thick smell of burning grease. The service is ok. We were with a small child who was hungry so no choice, otherwise we would have left.

Why not put "Bakery, Pastry Shop, Masonry" on your storefront, given that the Tradition pastries look like two cinder blocks? Disappointed…

High-quality breads and pastries. I highly recommend the raisin and hazelnut bread—it's amazing!!!
The flaky brioche is worth the trip.

We're regular customers and have never had any delivery problems, but this time we get a trainee waitress who doesn't know what she's doing and, above all, a manager who has no respect for customers! Avoid speaking ill of customers when you can hear everything over the phone!
15/01/2026: Delivered to the Lactalis factory. Excellent service on the phone, very friendly person who provided helpful information. Fast service and delivery, and the delivery person was also very friendly.
The Mielleuse pizza was delicious, and the ingredients were excellent.
Thank you to the Pizza Family team for your service; I will gladly order from you again next time I'm in the area.

20/01/2026: A reservation request for January 24th at 1 PM was made on TheFork with a 50% discount offer, which was accepted but immediately cancelled by the restaurant due to closure. Yet, everywhere else it's listed as open. Don't associate yourself with promotional offers if you can't stand behind them!
03/01/2026: Excellent restaurant, well worth the detour. It's on a small street, but the place is welcoming, the service impeccable, and the food excellent. Thank you again.

25/06/2025: A unique experience, not for everyone. One of the few places open on Sunday. Owner is friendly, although sometimes engaging in a very sarcastic way. Our food was OK, filet was not a filet, but other cut of meat. Lamb was good, and seafood bisque had split and was only mussels (although still tasty). You have to be prepared for the owner to engage you, it is not a place to go for a quiet meal.
19/06/2025: Terrific place! We were in Bayeux celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, and this was our first meal upon arrival. The food was wonderful. Everything was fresh and delicious. The owner was very welcoming and warm - made us feel right at home. We shared stories and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. I highly recommend this place for a relaxed atmosphere, a good meal and great music too.
