24/09/2026: Annoyed is the best way to describe the staffs approach to service. Our simple questions were met with curt responses. There seemed to be a sense that they can’t wait for customers to leave so they can fleece the next table. Overpriced food that is mediocre, bland and sloppily prepared. Asked for tap water along with our champagne and were served and charged 6.50 for an already open bottle of Evian(was it tap?). 43.00 for a tiny beef filet and overcooked vegetables with cold wet fries. The galette was a sloppy mess. This place is a real disappointment. They have a captive audience from tourists and it shows in their service, pricing, and menu. We wanted to like it - it’s a great location - but we won’t be back and you should not go.
21/09/2026: Person who seated us wasn't particularly friendly; she just pointed to a table. The duck I had was OK, but my wife was unimpressed withe small serving of sea bass. Atmosphere seemed a little stuffy.

18/08/2026: The staff were friendly, but unfortunately we were very disappointed with the meal. The sushi were very small and thin, the rice was overcooked and cold, and the soups were cold... and the miso soup really didn't taste good. We left feeling unsatisfied.

26/06/2026: Nice location with parking on site. Restaurant with good food for lunch and dinner. Rooms with simple standard, good beds but lacks storage and clothes hooks. Extremely warm rooms, the air condition cant cope with warm weather. Breakfast buffe simple but ok. Very friendly and serviceminded staff.
03/06/2026: Excellent location if you want to visit the D-Day landing beaches. The American Cemetery, Sainte-Mer-l'Église, Colleville-sur-Mer, and Bayeux town center are all within walking distance.
The room needs renovation.
Breakfast is available upon reservation for approximately €15. Room service is minimal.

31/07/2026: Great bar, off of the main street. Feels like a locals bar or a bar for those that know!
Good selection of beers, reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Will visit again.

02/08/2026: I'll keep it short and sweet, you know how it is:
Passing through the area on vacation,
Pros:
- The Chicago Burger and Madrid limited edition pizzas are excellent!
- Good crème fraîche, just the right amount of salt, a pleasantly thin crust, and generous toppings with quality ingredients.
Negatives:
- The price: the XL is €18.90, with no special offers except on Tuesdays (when they're all €11.90). Thinking of the locals, I find it expensive.
- A second promotional day would make customers even happier ;)
Tips:
- Buy your drinks at the grocery store almost across the street (Viveco Market); Fuze Tea certainly won't be €4.20 for 1.5 liters.

23/09/2026: Seemed to be set up for the american visitors. Didn't hear a french voice all night and waiter spoke english from start. Exceedingly slow service. Was about half an hour before we even got a drink and another long wait to order some food. I was asked did i want my steak medium or well done. I said rare please. It came well done. My wife's chicken came in a revolting thick claggy white sauce. After the main course and with the wine all gone we went to pay without waiting to order a dessert ( included in my formule meal). Waiter dashed to bar. Why are we going. Said couldn't wait any longer cos had already been there over 2 hrs. No apology no nothing . He just walked off. We were charged in full but be sure no tip was left!
21/09/2026: Great food great service great wine. We had fish and chips as well as a steak. The 2 waiters were great they were fast and precise.

10/08/2026: Small restaurant run entirely by an older lady. The food was exquisite, but the portions are slightly smaller than we are used to in the Netherlands. However, it tastes many times better than at home. You do need patience, but you are rewarded. Highly recommended if you want to try a different cuisine while on holiday in Bayeux.

15/08/2026: I don't know the shop in Bayeux, but I discovered their stall at the Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue market.
The person running the stall is very friendly. There's a chance to try several products: organic flour, local ingredients used to make the products (milk from Saint-Lô, cream from Isigny). The flan is excellent, as are the breads. Every Saturday I try to discover a new product. See you soon! I recommend it.

Very disappointed by your savory pastries, both the fish and chicken ones. The dough wasn't risen and was undercooked, sticking to the aluminum mold. They're still €5.95 each! I don't recommend them.
12/07/2026: The bakery has a stall at the Merville-Franceville market on Sunday mornings. The stall is attractive and the products look tempting. However, selling by weight quickly misleads the customer.
The result: a generous slice of flan + a regular slice of blueberry tart = €12.
I think that's really overpriced. Luckily, it was delicious.
