15/07/2026: Small, cozy establishment. Wide selection of coffees, teas, and pastries. The coffees we chose tasted delicious and were beautifully presented. Good value for money. Owners are super friendly and helpful.

11/07/2026: A wonderful place with excellent coffee, run by passionate people. I highly recommend it if you'd like to try or buy coffees you're not used to tasting! A must-visit when you're in Bayeux!

30/07/2026: We were delighted to find the dining room rearranged, complete with background music and air conditioning. The menu, presented by a smiling hostess, offered some lovely combinations. The generous, flavorful dishes were original and refreshingly light. A Bib Gourmand without hesitation; I'll be back as soon as the new menu is available.

14/07/2026: Without doubt the most charming and delightful restaurant we have visited in France (and we have visited many!). The high quality of ingredients is obvious but what impressed the most is how chef presents the dishes in such a fresh and uncomplicated way, which makes each dish seem simple and yet clearly a lot of love and thought has gone into everything. All that would be wasted of course if the front of house were not equally exceptional, however rest assured they are which made the whole experience so very enjoyable. This place is not to be missed. Second time here, can’t wait for the third.

09/06/2026: A stop that has become a must on the way back after the D-Day commemorations each year. The setting is particularly pleasant, full of charm and offering a beautiful view of the river. The restaurant itself is housed in a truly beautiful setting, with a thoughtful layout and decor that perfectly complements the character of the place. The welcome and service were warm and efficient throughout the meal. The dishes were well-prepared and met my expectations. An address I return to every year with pleasure for its ambiance and unique setting in the heart of Bayeux. I highly recommend it.

28/07/2026: Delicious food at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, the vegetables were a bit bland, and the salad had a somewhat under-seasoned, tasteless dressing. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The gazpacho was decent.

13/04/2026: LOVED our dinner here. They were able to accommodate us on a busy night without reservation. Food was EXCELLENT. One of the best meals of our trip. All staff spoke good English which made it comfortable for us as tourists.

24/07/2026: We got seated with menus upon arrival. We left after 20 minutes because no server came out to our table. Even leaving, the 3 servers saw us and said nothing. Hence no stars for food!

27/06/2026: There's a friendly new owner, and the redecorated space is nothing like the photos on the website. The new owner greets you with a smile and serves you. She's introduced a new style of cooking with dishes featuring fresh or preserved seasonal vegetables and delicious homemade sauces. The spread isn't store-bought; you can tell from its ingredients and taste that it's made on-site. The onion soup is a proper soup, not just a broth with a generous handful of grated cheese on top. The plum tiramisu is a real treat for dessert. It's excellent value for money considering the quality. This establishment has a small menu, everything is made fresh, and the wait between courses is short. It's a unique place amidst all the other traditional restaurants nearby. It's a shame the photos aren't uploading 😒

02/08/2026: Lunch break in Bayeux on market day. Creative cuisine with a touch of fusion. Well worth the detour. Dishes beautifully presented, delicate, and flavorful. A great selection. Two friendly young people serving. Highly recommended.

11/07/2026: The pizzas are fine. It’s a cozy place located on a lively little street. We had ordered a bottle of rosé. At one point, there was a wasp in it. We asked for a spoon so we could remove the wasp. They took the full glass of rosé away. To our great surprise, they didn't return a full glass, but an empty one… We were asked if we wanted dessert, coffee, or tea. We still had rosé. So we declined, saying maybe later. Shortly after, we were presented with the bill. Very unusual. Never experienced anything like it.
