15/09/2024: The best value for money in Caen!! Very welcoming staff!! A magnificent setting! I adore !! They have a side of Rhône, which is superb, a fine red on the palate with notes of vanilla!! Honestly I recommend!! The food is super good!! The meat, perfectly cooked with the homemade sauce!! This is awesome!!

06/07/2025: Serious pizzeria I only order for delivery no problem for the moment the website is good you can easily find what you want several payment options offered they are the only ones who deliver in my neighborhood I highly recommend

23/11/2024: We called to book the day before, we were confirmed that the terrace was heated and smoking was allowed there; When we arrived, 30 minutes of waiting for the order to be taken, in addition, another 30 minutes of waiting for the said order service. It was 5°C outside and the heating on the terrace (confirmed by the call for reservation the day before) was not turned on, so we asked to turn on the heating, we then had to close the windows, and that the whole terrace stops smoking. In addition, a server bordered on unpleasant, far from what I expected. I strongly advise against it.

23/11/2024: Good atmosphere, nice setting, the staff is pleasant. The Morbier Burger is super good, definitely worth making again!

30/08/2024: Excellent biscuits with different and rich fillings. Professional and quick service. The house wine, at a good price, is not to be missed. I recommend the galettes with Jamon Serrano (the others are with cooked ham), the one with salmon is also good. If you want to spend little and eat the typical one, I recommend the Complete Creme (which is without fried egg) at 9.50 euros. Average per head of 15/18 euros.

29/08/2024: Everything has changed, expeditious service still with our mouths full as we remove the appetizers and don't even start! the aperitif, the starter, the main course and the dessert! No exaggeration! Quantities revised significantly downwards 😬 we will surely not come back!

26/08/2024: As I don't eat animals, I took a vegetarian plate which was frankly mediocre, composed of raw vegetables found in the fridge and mashed potatoes quickly reheated in the microwave for €16.90, it's a bit pathetic …unfortunately no choice because there is no other vegetarian alternative…. Honestly, remove this dish from the menu if it bothers you to make vegetarian dishes. However extremely fast and quality service, the place is great.

04/12/2024: Bonito restaurante, ambiente agradable. Buena variedad de cervezas y principales. Pedimos 2 filetes y estaban muy buenos. Bonitos postres.

29/11/2024: Très bon accueil. Je sus venu à 12h00 ce midi ayant un train à 13h15. Repas servis rapidement Très bon et chaud Pâtes carbo et une tarte tatin Relativement bonne ambiance au sein de l’équipe, du moins c’est ce que j’ai ressenti et c’est fort agréable.

03/09/2024: Great coffee and croissant was good. Service was awful. Man and woman working there couldn’t put a smile on their faces or even say hello.

13/08/2024: Never order a matcha in this cafe, there just wasn't any in the drink given the color. Plus, I was clearly pissing off the waitress with my order. I don't recommend it, which is a shame considering the other notes.

20/08/2024: Le bistrot basque de l'ancienne adresse avait tellement de charme et d'ambiance! La nouveĺle adresse est une grande salle bien décorée mais qui a perdu son authanticité... la nouvelle carte est pauvre, la formule du midi ne propose plus grd chose: l'entrée et le dessert du jour ont disparu. Bref que de regrets!!! C'est moins bon et Les prix eux ont flambé.

08/07/2025: Run away!!!! (Female) manager who isn't up to the task of running a restaurant! Unpleasant comments toward customers... We waited 40 minutes for our food, only to be told: "There's no more left..." with no sympathetic apology! Just saying "Don't cry, it's nonsense." What a disgrace... I don't blame the young waitress who's starting out, and I wish her a lot of courage in working with this kind of person.....hello, the training provided..... I reiterate my dissatisfaction at the checkout. We still paid €100 for two, and no one was any wiser. 07/12/2024: After playing at the Théâtre à l'Ouest next door, we came to dinner at Carlotta. Warm welcome from the owner. Very attentive service. A dozen oysters and a glass of Chardonay to start the meal off right. The setting is chic and cozy. The Carlotta is a very pleasant brasserie and the dishes are tasteful. This evening, we're going back: I'm going to taste my Tripes, "Tripière d'Or 2024" :)

23/11/2024: Le Carlotta, brasserie réputée sur les quais à Caen, à la déco désuète , nous a vraiment déçus. Rien n’était franchement mauvais mais rien n’était non plus franchement bon: de la brasserie classique sans le petit twist qui te donne envie de revenir. Si l’on excepte les tripes, les autres plats manquaient de générosité. En revanche la générosité se retrouve sur l’addition, bien plus assaisonnée que certains de nos plats.
