05/04/2024: Restaurant well located in a lively and tourist district of Trouville sur mer opposite La Touque and the Poissons market. Good atmosphere on this Easter Sunday, lots of guests. The professionals are attentive, dynamic and we had fast and efficient service. We were on the terrace, well seated. The quality of the dishes served is correct, the dessert of the day, the revisited strawberry tart, was very good.

27/05/2024: Quelle déception ! C’est pourtant une institution dans laquelle je viens très fréquemment depuis 35 ans. À l’accueil, j’arrive avec un sourire (par nature et par ce que je suis aussi commerçant) mais sans similaire retour. Je demande gentiment si je peux recharger mon téléphone au bar, les 4 serveurs étaient en réunion de papotage et le barman sur son téléphone personnel. Pour m’indiquer de loin avec la main une place potentielle derrière la caisse (sans surveillance). Le service est efficace mais sans conviction ni convivialité. Le dessert nougat glacé n’était pas bon, très certainement tourné. Le serveur ne s’est pas excusé du désagrément subit, qu’il avait fait remonter l’information et nous a exprimé que son rôle n’était qu’un « simple porteur de plats », qu’il n’y était pour rien dans ce qu’il y avait dans les assiettes, que le rôle de chacun était hiérarchisé. Force et de constater l’absence totale de solidarité dans l’équipe. J’ai été choqué par cette réaction, attitude désinvolte et si réductrice de son métier qui est pourtant essentiel dans la vie d’un restaurant. Pourquoi se rabaisser à ce niveau !? Je lui ai fait remarquer que c’était réducteur mais sans écho positif malheureusement. Puis quelques minutes plus tard sans grande intelligence et discrétion, le serveur est venu se plaindre à la table des clients voisins, certainement des habitués, « qu’il ne supportait plus les critiques ». Sous les recommandations du même serveur, j’ai choisi un mille feuille qui était finalement humide par le réfrigérateur. Ou bien peut-être de la veille. Dommage. Les fruits de mer étaient en revanche excellents et frais. La sole de très bonne qualité. L’addition finale était de 204 Euros pour 2 personnes. Ce qui me semble conséquent, voir un peu trop non ?! J’estime que pour cet établissement emblématique de Trouville, le service, l’accueil et la qualité des desserts devraient être nettement revus à la hausse. Il est bien triste de niveler vers le bas.

25/05/2024: On y mange très bien et les serveurs sont au top 👍 A chaque fois que nous sommes de passage à Trouville, nous venons dans ce resto, jamais déçu jusqu'à présent. Aujourd'hui le serveur était Thibault 👌 Pro, efficace, souriant, dynamique et avenant. Ça fait plaisir.

21/05/2024: What a joy to see marine cures reborn again! We can now fully enjoy the place with a large seawater pool, herbal tea and a relaxation area. A special mention for the flotation pool which is a real plus among the new services offered. The restaurant has gone upscale with “The Purist” concept. In short, an intense and relaxing stay. Congratulations to the teams who worked for this renewal and congratulations to your wonderful General Director!

22/05/2024: This stand at the fish market is also sensational. Here again we had oysters, but also shrimp and 2 grilled prawns. Absolutely delicious. Add a bottle of wine and enjoy life here. We'll be back tomorrow too.

22/05/2024: Seafood, fresh and excellent even offers to make sushi or grill. It’s just great, very friendly with this terrace and lovely sunshine. I recommend and I will come back.

19/05/2024: I would like to express my deep dismay following a recent experience of discrimination during my visit. Despite an outdoor space available, we were unfortunately confronted with unjustified reluctance regarding access with a stroller. This situation, marked by a certain awkwardness, marred our visit. Although the previous reviews praise the quality of your meals, I cannot ignore the lack of welcome and understanding we received. It is unfortunate that my experience was marred by this attitude, and I sincerely hope that steps will be taken to prevent other customers from feeling left out in such circumstances.
