15/03/2024: I recommend 100%. A small takeaway restaurant well hidden in the streets of La Rochelle. Firstly, the staff is very nice, friendly and very smiling. Their cuisine is just exquisite!!! Hello excellent and made with love, it shows! One of the best couscous I have ever eaten! The sellou and briouates ditto. You can go there with your eyes closed!!

03/04/2024: The best burger on the Ile de Ré by far! In a cool atmosphere, the boss welcomes you with this madness, which gives you straight away, puts you in this very pleasant atmosphere of vintage coffee I recommend, you can go there with your eyes closed!!!!

Atypical atmosphere, top of the line waiter (adorable, smiling, friendly, helpful except that he supports the "La Rochelle" team in rugby but we won't blame him! ;) ..). The food... the hamburgers are EXCELLENT (a shame really, it's been a long time since we've had one this good.) The fries… RAS… let’s not talk about them! Sign: Toulouse women (rugby fans)!

18/03/2024: A delightful discovery, full of beauty and precision in the presentations, but also of precisely mastered flavors and tastes. A small room, just 18 places, remember to reserve a single service early enough, at least in the evening. A unique menu, but enough diversity for you to travel between seafood and land products and finish your tasting with exquisite desserts that go off the usual path common to “Asian” restaurants. Don't hesitate, kindness is essential, the prices are low, 40 euros per person maximum, the pleasure is certain.

We did not know this establishment, but we really appreciated the place, the quality of the cuisine and the service, the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. All this with a flawless welcome and the kindness of the staff. Thank you all for this very good stay which almost makes you want to have your birthday every month.

We were on a weekend in Jonzac for Valentine's Day, so we were able to taste the Valentine's Day menu on Friday evening (very good idea not to serve it only on D-Day), we enjoyed our meal so much (special mention for the foie gras with blackcurrant!) that we came back the next day to discover the usual menu and it was once again perfect and delicious. There is a real work of searching for ideas, execution, presentation of the plates and the service are worthy of the restaurants of great chefs... We will come back with great pleasure during our next stay :)

02/04/2024: Magnificent discovery in this small village near La Rochelle. Very intimate restaurant, with a maximum of around fifteen guests. Reservations are strongly recommended. The service is very pleasant and very professional. This Easter Monday, there is a unique menu, but nothing to complain about. Balanced menu, very well presented plates and more than well stocked, the flavor combinations are successful, a great moment of pleasure. What can we say about homemade bread, more than a success and a great happiness with the local semi-salted butter. Nice wine list. At the end of the meal, the chef took the time to talk with us without limit, we were able to discuss his passion and many other subjects. An additional pleasure. To do absolutely.
