12/02/2026: The night was rainy, the Charente River was overflowing, a doorbell rang, and the door opened onto a beautifully decorated hall. The welcome and service were friendly, the menu offered excellent choices, and the tasting was perfect and delicious. A truly gem.

24/02/2026: Great family restaurant. I was a little worried at first because of the high ceilings and a group that arrived... I was afraid it would be noisy, but not at all! The restaurant is perfectly suited for that. As for the food... absolutely delicious, from the tapas to the main courses and even the desserts. We received excellent wine recommendations. Seriously, if you're in Saintes, you must stop by!

07/03/2026: Lunchtime in a group, we received a very warm welcome and quick service. The crêpes on the menu are generous and delicious; I highly recommend them. That day, I had to choose the €14 set menu (it wasn't my choice) and I wouldn't recommend it: too meager for me.

03/03/2026: First time at this restaurant and frankly, I'm thrilled! The staff is friendly, very pleasant, and responsive. You immediately feel welcome. I went for my birthday and we were truly spoiled: complimentary samosas and several little gifts at the end of the meal. A thoughtful touch that really made our day! We even tried on traditional hats to end the evening on a high note; it was a fantastic time. As for the food, it was more than delicious: flavorful, well-spiced, and very generous portions. There were eight of us, and everyone was delighted. The atmosphere and quality were excellent, all at a reasonable price. I'll definitely be back!

We left without eating after the two people at the next table were served, even though they arrived after us. The pizza maker said goodbye, hoping not to see us again. We'll grant his wish.

Beyond the impeccable quality, the place has a real soul: each visit is an enchanting interlude in a soothing green setting, a moment outside of time. A rare find that I warmly recommend!

10/02/2026: I came for a business trip and I'm delighted to have discovered this charming and relaxing hotel. The staff is pleasant and helpful, the dinner is good, and the service is impeccable. The room is spacious and comfortable; I slept very well. Breakfast included homemade jams, although it's a shame the orange juice was store-bought. Otherwise, everything was perfect. I also enjoyed a treatment with Elisa, and I sincerely recommend her to everyone—she has magic hands! In short, as someone who travels a lot, I'm thrilled with my stay here and I'll gladly return if I have the chance.
