However, the location was very quiet and pleasant. More affordable food options would be a plus.
16/05/2026: This is a place we regularly stop on our holiday route near Saintes. We particularly love the peaceful terrace bordering the lovely park with its beautiful trees and pond, home to a few ducks, a swan (her name is Mathilde), and even a heron. We also appreciate the service, which is always professional and friendly. And we love the location, less than 5 minutes from the motorway exit.

The kids had minced steak, no problem.

21/05/2026: I was craving a milkshake, but I don't recommend it. It doesn't taste like a milkshake at all.
It tastes like vanilla milk. I'm disappointed, and when you mention it to the manager, she's very dismissive. I'm disappointed and I don't recommend it! Especially for 7 euros for a milkshake!!!!!
18/03/2026: A very warm welcome, a quiet terrace with little foot traffic, and a great selection. Everything is delicious!
Update 2026: Still a very warm welcome and a recently renovated dining room that's very attractive and comfortable. There are plenty of board games! The decor is well thought out. A CROQUER is my favorite place for an iced coffee or a bite to eat.

21/05/2026: What can I say about this pizzeria? Only the service deserves 5 stars: smiles and friendliness. The rest is so-so. Ordering a chorizo pizza was a letdown; the crust was tasteless, with more Emmental than mozzarella, and the pizza was cold. Yes, we ate the pizza, but without any enjoyment. The chicken calzone pizza had four slices of chicken meat—the ratio must be amazing! Never again. I'm sure the self-service pizzas are better.

05/01/2026: We booked for 5 in the summer of 2025.
It was one of the only restaurants open on a Sunday at the end of August with available tables.
The pizzas weren't amazing, but we were happy to find a table that day.
The owners gave us a warm welcome.
Dogs are welcome.
10/12/2025: I've eaten at La Tratoria several times over the past few years. I absolutely love it. The restaurant has a family atmosphere, and we always receive a warm welcome. The pizzas are delicious! Best of luck to the team, and thank you :)

11/01/2026: Hello, your cookies are very good, however, on the morning of January 11th, we encountered an extremely unpleasant saleswoman who was cold and responded to us in an indecent manner for no apparent reason. I absolutely do not recommend this experience. I never leave reviews, but this attitude left me speechless. I will not be returning to this bakery.
