08/07/2025: Ideal for a quick snack. Fresh produce, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and a wide variety of pastries. Very friendly welcome and service. I recommend it for a break on the road or even just to stop and buy bread and pastries.

01/07/2025: This is a great place to stop for a break. Wonderful variety of good quality sandwiches, cakes and lots more. It's small but takes about 20 customers when full. Very friendly ambience. Very glad to have found it by accident!

05/11/2024: Very welcoming and helpful staff, we arrived with a colleague at 2 p.m. to find out if it was possible to have a dish or snack to take away, the attentive cook offered us sandwiches and wraps, as well as dessert of the day. A big thank you to the whole team, everything was very good and at a very reasonable price.

27/10/2024: Arrived there this 10/27/2024 almost by chance! Nothing to regret, whether it was the welcome, the service or the quality of the dishes, it was very good. Very good value for money. We will come back.

18/11/2025: The starters were generous and tasty, the crepes were good but not quite full enough for my taste; we left feeling a little hungry. The sugar crepe was good but not substantial enough to justify the €4 price tag. Finally, the bowl of cider served in a glass was also rather small. Nevertheless, I would somewhat recommend this restaurant as it has potential, even just with the backyard setting.

10/10/2025: Okay, how do I address this comment??? We arrive, park, grab our bags, and head to reception... It's 8:05 PM, the receptionist is no longer there. We head to the terminal, which... isn't working. We call the number provided and they explain that it's not possible to get a room key. She gives us the reception code, but we can't lock the room without a key. So we put everything back in so we can go to dinner. We repeat the same procedure, and we end up getting into the room. Surprisingly, we were given a room for people with reduced mobility, with a super-convenient bathroom. The shower water flooded the floor of the room and eventually left black marks on the grout. The room is equipped with an emergency exit block, and the room is bathed in a "beautiful" green light all night long. It wasn't easy to fall asleep... All because we only requested a room with two single beds (due to back pain). As for the breakfast, we'll say it's average, nothing more... This establishment doesn't deserve its 3 stars; it doesn't meet the expected standards. Too bad!

04/10/2025: One night with evening meal and breakfast, nothing to complain about, comfortable and quiet room, very good dinner and top-notch breakfast buffet!

29/01/2026: Very good, but a little expensive and not much on the plate for the price.

31/12/2025: Friends and acquaintances come before the customer, the wrap looks like nothing, it's poorly made, the glass is dirty, and so on. Was it even worth opening a second one? Furthermore, several products were unusable due to being sold out.

11/12/2025: I've rarely eaten so badly! The pasta was swimming in butter, cold, and dry! Accompanied by a measly little piece of chicken called "supreme." Incredibly bad! Very disappointing.

13/10/2025: Honestly I expected a lot more, the meat in the cauchu had no taste, and the drinks were way too expensive. I recommend it for a coffee, nothing to say about the coffee, but my god, the restaurant needs a lot of changes.

26/12/2025: What a shame! A very disappointing stop. The €18.50 set menu included potato tart as a starter (definitely not fresh), followed by fish with vegetables: the fish was clearly overcooked, but the vegetables and desserts were good. The dining room was very cold; if the thermometer was working, it read 14°C. With two glasses of wine and a coffee, the bill for two came to €43.10. Far too expensive for a stop that didn't warm us up at all. We could have done without the owner's unpleasant remark when we paid. He only reluctantly detailed the bill at our request.

24/11/2025: Ongoing experience - I was contacted 3 weeks ago by Robin Barrasford ‘director” about my reviews on this site and others. Would I be willing to remove the posts for signing an NDA and compensation (remaining funds owed). I was told at the time not to correspond to other investors as well as quite a lot of you have reached out with your terrible experiences. I initially received a token amount and then another a week later but even this has now stopped and I never did sign any NDA so I am free to share . Quote from Robin” apart from 6 investors everyone else will need to wait at least for the property to be completed before receiving any money’ so no matter what excuses you are given this is the truth!! THERE IS NO IMMINENT MONEY! My local MP Dame Caroline Dineage having been made aware is now going to take this case forward and will contact the FCA and treasury this week they have confirmed. EVERYONE you need to take action. Make some noise and let’s make sure they are held to account. Use your local MPs and we can apply maximum pressure on the directors. Some of your stories are genuinely upsetting to read. My next step is to contact the local media in France “ the Bugle’ to start up an awareness campaign there. Fortunately a colleague of mine is fluent in French so we are putting this together early next week. My ongoing thanks to trustpilot fort allowing me to share my ongoing experience despite pressure not to publish.

20/11/2025: The main hotel - Chateau de la Cazine is beautiful - I stayed in it in 2020 to view the developing Wyndham Resort for a possible investment. It’s now nearly 2026 and the resort still appears unfinished. So glad I didn’t invest. Shame.

10/08/2025: They're an English couple who've been living here for 20 years and speak French well. Very simple decor and good, hearty food. The fries are homemade and the fish and chips are extraordinary!

30/06/2025: Very warm welcome, delicious kebab

30/06/2025: 2 kebabs + fries and a drink for 20 euros. Meat was very rough with an aftertaste. Mayonnaise instead of white sauce. It went in the trash. And the tray of fries had 10 fries in it. This is my last visit!
