16/03/2026: My previous stays were very good, but with the price increase and the apparent decline in room quality, I'm very disappointed. Stained carpet, marks on the wall, unreliable Wi-Fi, a dreary room, poor lighting, noisy air conditioning, and my stay has only just begun... I hope the restaurant service will make up for these multiple disappointments. Also, the price quoted over the phone wasn't the same as the price I was charged upon arrival (almost €20 more per night).

18/03/2026: Absolutely fantastic! It's our favorite restaurant when we're in Gueret. The food is delicious, with plenty of choice, and we come here very regularly. Always excellent.

27/02/2026: A warm welcome awaits you at this restaurant, which boasts a superb terrace. The menu is simple but features some excellent dishes. For andouillette lovers, they have a fabulous 5A (a type of sausage). The desserts, priced at €5.50, are excellent and generous. This restaurant is a must-visit for any trip to the Creuse region... I highly recommend it and will definitely keep this address for future reference.

19/01/2026: The food was great. The welcome depends on the owner's mood; she's constantly making comments. For a year we went there every week, and now she's closing the double curtain on the window at our table. Eating in the dark is not for me.

It's a very good place, which I absolutely recommend to polite, unpretentious people who appreciate simple pleasures.

26/12/2025: What a shame! A very disappointing stop. The €18.50 set menu included potato tart as a starter (definitely not fresh), followed by fish with vegetables: the fish was clearly overcooked, but the vegetables and desserts were good. The dining room was very cold; if the thermometer was working, it read 14°C. With two glasses of wine and a coffee, the bill for two came to €43.10. Far too expensive for a stop that didn't warm us up at all. We could have done without the owner's unpleasant remark when we paid. He only reluctantly detailed the bill at our request.
