And now he even refuses reservations for “large” evening tables of 7 people.
Never seen before in a restaurant.

Nice choice of original cocktails.
The Auvergne punch, with verbena, is worth tasting.
As a starter, you can choose the pâté en croute. The portion is generous, tasty with a nice balance between the ingredients.
Duck confit just excellent.
The burger might seem 'a little tight' to you.
Error, the steak is a nice thickness and the Brioche bread is successful.
Not hungry for dessert? Order an ice cream. Artisanal, its fragrance is subtle.
Throughout the meal, the servers were extremely attentive.

17/06/2024: Arrivés à l improviste, le patron nous a trouvé une table malgré le monde. Très bien accueillis et installés. Restaurant convivial avec un personnel super souriant. Très bon repas, viande très tendre. Le fondu creusois fut une belle découverte.
26/05/2024: Cuisine excellente.Plats copieux. Personnel efficace . Service rapide. Viande à tomber. Salle conviviale, ronde et originale avec petit train qui circule en hauteur.

15/09/2024: Restaurant bien agencé. Une grande salle avec de grandes baies vitrées. Nous avons pris la marmite de la creuse avec charcuterie,pas terrible du tout la charcuterie,hormis le jambon crue,le reste jambon blanc et rosette ou saucisson avait un goût de frigo. Produits industriels. Les desserts était correct profiteroles et crème brûlée. Par contre le service était assuré par une équipe très jeune et dynamique. Bonne chance à notre jeune serveuse ukrainienne ,agréable et professionnelle.

07/11/2024: We left with our sandwiches for fear of not finding anything open for lunch, a very nice surprise found in this pretty little village.
Very warm welcome, very good quality food, and a decorated setting to discover.
Thank you to the restaurateurs and also to Terra Aventura which allows us to make such discoveries.

05/11/2024: Very welcoming and helpful staff, we arrived with a colleague at 2 p.m. to find out if it was possible to have a dish or snack to take away, the attentive cook offered us sandwiches and wraps, as well as dessert of the day. A big thank you to the whole team, everything was very good and at a very reasonable price.
27/10/2024: Arrived there this 10/27/2024 almost by chance! Nothing to regret, whether it was the welcome, the service or the quality of the dishes, it was very good. Very good value for money. We will come back.

06/09/2024: Friday evening in Guéret at 8 p.m. no more Fondue Creuseis... already cash in! The young person at the checkout tells who is responsible (black shirt).. and nothing happens! We wait... and of course there was melting. Extended with milk or water I think, not great. 2 starters, 3 main courses. 48 euros. To finish 2 cups of ice cream and fortunately we finished well, they were good!

15/09/2024: Restaurant brasserie sur la place de boussac.simple mais efficace si l'on juge à la grande salle remplie ce jour la. Pour notre part nous avons pris deux entrecôtes bleu ,qui nous avons bien eu bleu ,mais froides à cœur. La cuisson a cœur des viandes est un vrai métier .la viande pas terrible avec beaucoup beaucoup de gras ,du coup notre chien c'est bien régalé. Néanmoins une prise en charge rapide du client et une jeune serveuse très agréable avec la clientèle.
29/08/2024: The fondue Creuseis is divine, the owner super responsive as is the waitress and the cook to be congratulated because from the starter to the dessert everything was perfect thank you for the professionalism of these three friendly people to whom we wish good luck

Hearty breakfast, quiet establishment.
The staff is accommodating and available.

Bien cuisiné, mais portion un peu chiche en ce qui concerne les crêpes parmentier et manque d'originalité pour la présentation des plats.
Qualité prix : un peu cher (55 pour une entré, un plat, un dessert).
Reste correct dans l'ensemble, joli cadre avec possibilité de salle "indépendante".
Besoin de réserver à l'avance. service correct.
Parking autour du restaurant dans le village.

05/08/2024: Accueillis avec un large sourire un lundi d’août à 13h, nous avons partagé le menu unique, simple, bien préparé et goûteux.
La cuisine est faite maison, le gâteau creusois délicieux.
Une halte bienvenue dans cet établissement qui est à la fois, un restaurant, un bar, un hôtel et une épicerie et qui rend bien des services aux habitants du village.

25/08/2024: Superbe restaurant offrant une vue inoubliable. Restaurant à la hauteur des avis mentionnés. L'incontournable foudu creusois est à tomber...Un conseil, évitez de prendre une entrée sous peine de ne pas terminer votre assiette 😉.
Très bon moment passé, n'oubliez pas de réserver...
24/08/2024: Great food and a great setting. We had a delightful lunch on the terrace overlooking the valley. The speciality beef on hanging skewers was particularly appreciated and the fish was excellent. Lovely range of desserts. Friendly and very good service. Definitely a winner!
