From the lentil starter with its perfectly cooked egg, to the tuna prepared in several ways, it was simply impeccable! And the rice pudding—I'll have it tomorrow; it was so generous! 27/09/2026: Usually, everything goes smoothly, even if there are a few hiccups sometimes, but that can happen… But tonight, clearly, was the last straw: a wrap was forgotten, the ice creams were placed without their bases, and best of all, a long, beautiful hair was wedged right in the burger… Fantastic. Unfortunately, we only noticed all of this in the car and at home… Otherwise, we would have come to see you at the counter to work something out, rather than leaving such a review.

15/08/2026: We happened to arrive in Bourganeuf on a public holiday and were looking for somewhere to have lunch. We had the pleasure of enjoying a very enjoyable Creuse fondue 😁 I recommend it 👍

07/08/2026: We arrived at 1:14 PM and received a warm welcome. The homemade fries were incredibly delicious. A lovely selection of raw and fresh, homemade vegetables! The prices were more than reasonable.

08/10/2026: Sanwick, which has turned into a rotten salad, the meat is a different color and tastes off, frankly, not recommended.

21/07/2026: The only positive point: the reception staff. For over €110 a night (without breakfast), the service is unacceptable. The room is in the attic where the heat is unbearable; only a small €10 fan is provided. The bathtub is under a sloping ceiling, leaving you with barely 50cm of space to take a shower. The TV works intermittently. The exterior metal shutter is completely rusted and unusable. The floorboards creak everywhere. As an option, you can rent a closed garage (the reason I stayed at this hotel). For €18 a night, the garages are 200m from the hotel, with wooden doors dating back to the 1960s... a simple kick would be enough to open them... Avoid at all costs. I've stayed in hotels costing €50-60 a night that offered far more comfort and service. And this is in the Creuse region, so the price is completely unjustified.

24/09/2026: I stopped by in the early afternoon for a coffee and felt like I was bothering them... The owner was unpleasant; I regretted stopping by. It used to be good, but since the new owner took over, it's not the same anymore. Avoid at all costs.

07/10/2026: Like a canteen, a noisy cafeteria, average food but cheap.

06/10/2026: Let's just say I didn't get to try the food. Basically, I arrived, took my tray and cutlery, and headed towards the hot dishes. There, I saw two young women leaning on their elbows, looking at their phones. I waited five minutes. Neither of them looked up. So I put away my tray and left. I don't think it's my responsibility to announce my presence.

12/05/2026: I ordered the set menu. They charged me €25 for a starter and main course. The same meal, served with cheese or dessert, costs €16. The response was that I'm not a factory worker, I'm a sales engineer with the same lunch budget as a factory worker. This is unacceptable. Never again. Avoid this place unless you show your worker's ID.

15/04/2026: Excellent service, unbeatable value for money, quality products and service, and everything is homemade. I highly recommend it.
