09/09/2026: Terrible service (except for the waitress). The set menu was okay, but I could have eaten on the way out... syrup was €2.80. The cashier was very unpleasant. The place was very noisy. There were four of us, and we won't be back.

Dining is much more than the food itself.
When you are trying a foreign cuisine it is important to sip on the local atmosphere, the whole experience is important. Here is manages to capture the atmosphere of a japanese restaurant.
One other aspect is the service and this is where this place looses.
A was a little bit unwelcoming. Not impolite but not polite either.
Still everything else is good.
03/09/2026: It's good, but you get the feeling you're bothering the waiter (third visit, same behavior every time). The welcome was incredibly cold. A shame.

27/08/2026: I waited 20 minutes even though there was only one person ahead of me. Of the four waffles, two were nicely browned, but the other two were pale and the batter was raw in the center... I didn't have the energy to queue again.
15/06/2026: Wow, I'm probably the least picky eater. But the waitress at the waffle place in Besançon was seriously the most unpleasant I've ever seen. She practically insulted me.
I go to the ones in Dijon and Lyon, and thank goodness, because I would have boycotted the Dijon location.
Today, Monday, June 15th, at noon in Chateaufarine, it was really difficult. So I went across the street to eat. And it was perfect.

03/07/2026: At the entrance, there are no rules prohibiting the wearing of caps or hats inside. Therefore, bartenders should be taught not to interfere with the bouncers' work and to speak more respectfully to customers.
27/04/2026: The cloakroom manager helps herself to your customers' wallets without any pressure 👍 €52 for the cloakroom instead of the expected €2 is a bit pricey

As for the Neuchâtel fondue, there's no cream.
Fondue recipe:
2 Swiss cheeses, of course
Neuchâtel wine
Garlic
Potato starch or cornstarch
The service also needs improvement.
I agree with other negative reviews.
24/07/2026: A "plate of trout" for €25, the Mont d'Or cheese is the same for 2 as for 5. An unfriendly waitress. A bill far too expensive for the quality of the service and the food, avoid at all costs!!

03/09/2026: I really don't understand the previous reviews… This is my 4th time here and I've never been disappointed! The dishes are generously served, well presented and above all very good.
14/08/2026: I don't understand the negative reviews; we ate there for lunch today.
We received a very warm welcome.
My daughter had the children's menu with pizza, and she loved it.
I had the carpaccio, and for dessert, the tiramisu; it was delicious.

23/07/2026: It's unacceptable to serve dry, hard croissants and then tell a customer, "I know my job, sir, these croissants are perfectly fine," when someone points out a problem.
Madam, I saw that the brasserie is for sale; that's actually good news because it will prevent people from being ripped off and treated with contempt like you do.
It's clear you're struggling with your job, and I'm sorry about that, but don't make your customers pay for it.

27/04/2024: Assiettes ridicules, on sort on a faim !. Le poulet rôti est une vulgaire petite cuisse de 30 grs de viande et trop cuite, le poisson est bas de gamme puisque c'est du lieu noir, poisson le moins cher du marché .. Si on fait un Rapide calcul des prix au kilo on arrive à 350€ le kilo pour 1 cuisse de poulet....!! Environ 60grs de poisson et 1/2 poireau en garniture.. Bref un attrape touriste, entrez regardez et sortez, ne mangez pas !. Nous n'y retournerons plus, nous aurions dû lire les avis avant d'y aller....
Nous y sommes restés 30mn pour manger notre plat.. Quand nous avons vu le choux chantilly passer, nous nous sommes regarder et avons rigoler... Franchement même pas honte de servir ça !.
08/04/2024: -Impossibilité de les joindre au téléphone pour la réservation
- Placement à l'entrée au milieu du flux des clients et serveurs
- Plats très médiocres ( ex: frites molles)
- Erreurs sur la note en notre defaveur sans excuses après rectification
- Imposition d'un temps extrêmement limité pour le repas
Impression d'un total cafouillage ! Des débuts difficiles ? Le cadre est toujours aussi somptueux mais nous n'y retournerons pas.

20/11/2024: Un jolie restaurant dans une petite rue du centre-ville d’Arras. Une belle découverte pour un déjeuner à 2. Le Welsh est excellent et l’andouillette est toute aussi bonne.
01/10/2024: Avons fait un excellent repas comme d’habitude..nous y allons chaque fois que nous voulons dîner..c’est un incontournable restaurant de la ville d’Arras..service au top,une pointe d’humour et des mets succulents à base de produits frais..bref super ambiance
