15/10/2026: I 100% recommend Kaf des Vieux Amants. Everything was perfect from beginning to end (our first meeting, a year beforehand for the tasting). Chantal is a very kind and incredibly friendly person. Everything was absolutely delicious, from the welcome drinks to the cake. It was truly a royal experience. The team at our wedding was perfect. Flo is incredibly kind and thoughtful; she came over several times to offer me drinks while I was running around. It was so nice to have someone so attentive. Her husband and the chef are also wonderful people. Thank you so much, we recommend you without hesitation!

11/09/2026: A magical discovery. We enjoyed the salads with sorbet or ice cream. Incredible! The pickle sorbet was a real treat. For dessert, we had the gourmet coffee with goat cheese ice cream… Wow… Thank you for this wonderful experience. As a bonus, we also tried the Supreme beer from the Gangloff brewery in Besançon. Definitely worth discovering.

12/10/2026: My friend and I went to Le Cercle last night. We weren't disappointed. The cuisine was bold and excellent. The welcome was warm and the service impeccable. The atmosphere was chic, yet very comfortable. A great place to eat in Besançon. We'll definitely be back.

07/09/2026: A wonderful time at Jadis for our wedding. The restaurant/terrace was privately booked for 34 guests plus a DJ. The team at Jadis was fantastic, with Sandra and Thomas at the helm. Thomas in the kitchen – everything was delicious – Sandra was attentive to every detail (decor, food, logistics...) and Julien in the dining room was responsive and attentive. Efficient and friendly. We recommend it 100%!

28/09/2026: The narrow passage to Vieux Comtois is easy to miss; after passing through a courtyard, a dimly lit door finally opens the door to the region's culinary delights. Upstairs, there's a small dining room with three tables, so almost all the guests head down to the spacious cellar. A mistake, in my opinion, because upstairs you have a view into the kitchen and can observe the work of the owner and chef, who is one and the same. A true original, whose dishes are inspired by the seasons. I had the Boite de Chef: a potato gratin with Morteau sausage and a cheese that's only available from September to April. There was also morel soup and cooked and raw ham on a green salad. Without French, you're at a loss, although the waitress uses photos of the dishes on her smartphone to guide you. To accompany the meal, I enjoyed an excellent Chardonnay from the Jura region, from Maison Gouilland. A truly special place that's definitely worth a visit.

Excellent local cuisine, impeccable service (haha), smiles and laughter galore, a beautiful vaulted cellar with exposed stone walls—I never expected to be so charmed by this little restaurant at the end of a cul-de-sac with its magnificent courtyard (which could certainly use some sprucing up!): a wooden entrance, a stone cellar, a real treat. All for under €20, no reservation required! Highly recommended.

13/09/2026: Absolutely amazing! We went there for my sister's birthday this past Saturday night. Everything was excellent, and the burger was to die for. Sorry about the photo, my daughter had started nibbling at it 🤣. I'm so glad I discovered this restaurant.

10/09/2026: A fantastic experience at Chez Hachour in Besançon! The welcome was warm and friendly, and the couscous was truly delicious, generous, and flavorful. A major plus: the couscous is all-you-can-eat (semolina and broth), enough to satisfy even the heartiest appetites! A great place in Besançon for couscous lovers. I had a wonderful time and will gladly return if I'm ever in the city again.

08/09/2026: I wanted to eat real couscous... the meat was just fat and bones, the meringues were awful, the meatballs had sharp bone fragments in them. The area wasn't very inviting. Never again.

03/09/2026: Delicious and carefully prepared food. Very welcoming. However, be aware that if you have the 30% Passtime discount, check your bill... €10 was added to the total, so the discount is less significant in the end. Not great...
