P.S.: You can think whatever you like of your guests; however, I would have appreciated not seeing Mr. Salt and Pepper roll his eyes when I said, "Yes, we had a good dinner," when asked if I had "eaten well." I'll give you the 5-star rating you deserve, but I won't be back.

12/04/2026: Excellent service, elegant establishment, and a lovely menu. The waiters even came to get us water. There are cloakrooms available for our coats. I highly recommend it.

17/05/2026: A truly wonderful discovery in Besançon! The welcome was simply exceptional: warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which immediately put you at ease. As for the food, it was a real treat. I opted for a flavorful and perfectly executed Arbois-style gratin, accompanied by a Bethanie wine that paired wonderfully. For dessert, the lemon cream meringue was light, balanced, and bursting with freshness. And to finish, an original and fragrant fir liqueur, perfect for concluding the meal. You can feel a real authenticity in both the food and the service. A place I highly recommend!

01/05/2026: So, I don't know if my opinion is objective, given that it was our wedding and that for most people, this day is a perfect day. It was! And Kaf contributed to that. A huge thank you to Chantal and her entire service team who truly took excellent care of us and our guests. Our first meeting at her workshop in Besançon was very pleasant, in a great atmosphere, and we were able to choose our items in superb conditions. On the big day, the presentation of the cocktail hour was very well done. The scallop and ham carving station was a real hit, and the unfussy meal was incredibly successful; everyone loved it. Details that make all the difference: - The servers were friendly and reserved and brought plates and glasses for us during the cocktail hour, so we didn't forget to eat something! - The table service was quick and efficient, despite the 140 guests. The leftovers were left, contrary to some other opinions I've heard. Honestly, I have no complaints about the service, thank you all so much. Marie & Lucas

28/04/2026: We chose Kaf' des Vieux Amants as our caterer for our wedding. Everything was excellent, from the appetizers and the cocktail hour to the wedding cake. The recipes were sophisticated and full of flavor, and were a hit with all our guests. We also want to thank the team who provided service at the Bolandoz summer camp (April 25th) for their professionalism, kindness, and joie de vivre. You contributed to the success of our wonderful day, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. For anyone still hesitating, go for it without hesitation! 👌

29/04/2026: A wonderful discovery. I was passing through the area for the first time and I hope to return to eat at Chez Achour again. The place is beautiful, family-run, welcoming, and very clean. My cousin and I received a very warm welcome from the founders' grandson. We had a delicious couscous; the semolina was excellent, the meat was high quality, and the homemade harissa was to die for. Everything was perfect. Thank you again for this wonderful experience.

26/04/2026: No surprises here, the interior mirrors the exterior: simple, the decor simple yet warm... the welcome... very warm... and a genuine smile to boot. Customers... or rather, regulars... happy to be there. The food: pure bliss... fresh, homemade, and prepared with passion by a chef as unassuming as the greeting he gives to the customers... pardon, the gourmets present. Set menus (main/dessert, starter/main, or main alone) at competitive prices allow anyone to enjoy good food without breaking the bank. One regret... not having come here sooner. I think we'll become regulars 😃 but only if you stay true to yourselves.

23/04/2026: The service was very friendly! We were looking forward to pans of fried potatoes and chicken with morel and wine sauce. Instead of a sizzling dish, we received plastic pans with food that was presented without any care. It looked like it had been reheated.

21/04/2026: We wanted to have dinner quite early, but we hadn't made a reservation. The restaurant accommodated us anyway. The food, consisting of typical regional dishes, was very good and the portions were generous. The waitress was very friendly despite the stress of the service (the restaurant was full and she was the only one managing the service – kudos to her for not panicking and staying cheerful). Since it was full, it was rather noisy. But the atmosphere was pleasant. A restaurant I would definitely recommend.

Warm atmosphere, very pleasant setting, excellent cuisine with a limited menu (which is a guarantee of quality!). Thank you for the wonderful moments and memories you've given us! Besançon without La Petite Adresse wouldn't be Besançon anymore! Happy retirement!

The cuisine is refined, fresh, and perfectly seasonal. A cut above your average bistro, with impeccable service and beautifully presented dishes. Well done to the whole team! We highly recommend this restaurant.
