19/12/2025: The welcome was very good, but the tagine was made with canned potatoes. I was very disappointed with the food; the tea was undrinkable. The couscous had no taste or flavor. A shame.

12/03/2026: Every time I'm in Châteaufarine, I stop at Mezzo di Pasta! It's convenient and delicious before I go shopping! Plus, the service is excellent, helpful, and always with a smile! It's always a pleasure!

13/03/2026: Well located with secure parking, this is a great place to stay. Excellent bedding, very clean rooms, courteous welcome with a smile. The food offers good value for money with delicious local specialties served by very friendly and efficient waiters. Breakfast features excellent local products. Thank you to the entire team for their versatility and best of luck for the future. A lovely, relaxing break. Go without hesitation.

06/03/2026: The €10.50 set menu was good, however, the waitresses were laughing and ignoring you, which was just okay.

01/03/2026: Small local diner. A woman behind the counter, who took her time. When there are two busloads of people ahead of you, you can't order anything.

27/01/2026: Nice place, but waffles a bit dry and when we asked for extra Nutella and pistachio cream it annoyed the manager, I understand that it has a certain cost, yet we were ready to pay extra.

23/02/2026: A very good experience at this restaurant. The food and dishes are fresh and delicious. While there's less choice than at other Chinese buffets, there's consequently less waste, and the food is almost exclusively Asian. There's enough variety to satisfy everyone and leave feeling full. The service is also very pleasant.

31/01/2026: Avoid this place... I arrived at 1 p.m. on a Saturday and everything was empty...plus, the only cheese was hard and moldy... And don't even get me started on the bread; I hope you have good dentures...I won't be back and I won't be recommending it either 🤮🤢🤮

04/12/2024: Nous étions 12 personnes dans une grande salle vide et froide. Le serveur faisait "chuuut" avec un doigt sur sa bouche car il n'arrivait pas à se concentrer pour prendre la commande de boisson, évidemment comme il n'avait rien noté, 2 boissons manquaient et une était fausse ! Le filet de magret de canard était trop cuit et le tartare de saumon n'avait vraiment rie de spécial. Nous souhaitions nous balader à Besançon après le déjeuner, le serveur nous a orienté vers l'accueil de l'hôtel, qui nous a simplement tendu un plan. Après lui avoir demandé quelques conseils, la personne nous a juste dit "nous sommes ici" !!!!! bref no comment, on a fait que se nourrir plutôt que de passer un bon moment entre amis au restaurant.

03/01/2026: I don't know if it's just me eating more, but I don't remember the filled waffles being any smaller. That doesn't change the fact that they're good. The staff serving are pleasant.

14/10/2025: I love Nutella wafers and Marrakech tea, a real treat, my passion. However, savory wafers are getting less and less good, and especially less and less filled. It feels like you're eating nothing but bread, especially the Nordik, where the salmon is (see photos). So, I think there's room for improvement...

08/03/2026: The booking, the welcome, the location and the meal, everything was perfect. Plus, the attentiveness and kindness were an added bonus.

15/01/2026: We had considered this establishment to celebrate my father's 80th birthday, in a place historically significant to our family since my parents had celebrated their wedding there 60 years ago. Originally, the event was expected to bring together about thirty people. However, based on our initial email exchanges with Catherine, we quickly felt like we were intruding. After proposing a date, we received a negative response, without any alternative being suggested or even being shown the menus. Faced with this lack of communication, courtesy, and consideration, we nevertheless tried to adapt by voluntarily reducing the number of guests, hoping to simplify the organization. Unfortunately, this approach was not met with any more respect or professionalism. During a visit by my mother to obtain further information, the manager adopted an openly contemptuous and inappropriate attitude. The presence of children was deemed problematic, the lack of a guarantee regarding wine consumption was criticized due to the restaurant's profit margin, and the final number of guests (16 adults and 5 children) was declared "unacceptable," before a flat cancellation and an invitation to leave. This behavior is all the more surprising given that this establishment is a traditional brasserie. Claiming a level of service that one never embodies, neither in the welcome nor in the customer relations, is, to say the least, disconcerting. This place is clearly not suitable for families, nor for organizing family events of any kind. More broadly, this experience raises questions about the vision of the profession held here. The restaurant business is based on hospitality, respect, and customer loyalty. By turning away from these principles with such arrogance, it is difficult to imagine how an establishment can establish itself in the local community. VERMOT DESROCHES DE VELOTTE FAMILY

05/04/2026: The eggs in my salad were overcooked; the yolks were greenish. The breaded chicken fillets had probably been fried in the same place as the fish, judging by their fishy taste. It was very dry. My boyfriend got sick after eating his steak :(
