23/08/2026: We had the pleasure of dining here during our visit to Besançon. It's the best restaurant I've ever been to! It's excellent! From the appetizer to the dessert, everything is delicious ☺️ all homemade. And the staff is very kind and pleasant. We'll be back on our next trip to Besançon ☺️

19/08/2026: Don't pay attention to the negative reviews, as we stopped by chance for dinner one evening. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The service was impeccable and the products were fresh. The fondue was very good, as was the pierrade with the excellent meat that you cook yourself – a very fun experience. The fresh fruit salad was excellent, as were the homemade profiteroles. I recommend it 100%. That's why I'm giving it 5 stars; I will definitely return when I'm back on holiday in this area.

10/09/2026: Hooray for Château d'Eau!!!! I love this place!!! So many wonderful memories here, the prices are fantastic, and the atmosphere under the red neon lights is magnificent!!! I always order a "tomato," which is a pastis with grenadine syrup for those who don't know!!! I highly recommend this place for a great evening or early evening!!!

20/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at this pizzeria during the day. The atmosphere was lovely, the pizza was absolutely delicious, and the ice cream was a real treat! A huge thank you to our waitress, an incredibly charismatic, smiling, and warm person who made our visit even more enjoyable. A truly great find that we will happily cherish as a holiday memory.

21/06/2026: We booked a hen/stag party with dinner and karaoke and had a fantastic time! From the moment we booked by phone, the team was incredibly friendly, helpful, and pleasant. The food was delicious and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Special mention also goes to the karaoke atmosphere: the team really knows how to make people feel comfortable and create a convivial ambiance, which allowed the group to fully enjoy themselves. A very welcome touch: our group was running late and we called to let them know. The manager was very understanding and accommodating. Thank you again for your warm welcome and good cheer; we will cherish the memories of this evening!

08/09/2026: Disappointed! The waitresses must have had chapped lips because there wasn't a single smile or kind word, but thankfully the owner redeemed the experience! We strongly advise against the mussels; the onions are raw. As for the portion of fries, at €4, big eaters will go broke ordering so many. The price-quality ratio is disproportionate.

08/08/2026: There were five of us, and due to a staffing issue, we were asked to come back 30 minutes later. We did so and received a very warm welcome. The food was healthy. The prices were a bit high for simple ingredients, but that's the price you pay for good food in the center of Besançon. The Comtois galette is definitely worth the trip.

30/08/2026: Great hotel for a road trip stop! We stayed here for a night during our trip and were really impressed by the bright and unique design featuring cool industrial gear patterns on the walls. The vibrant green sink and sleek shower design added a fun, modern touch to the stay. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were absolutely spotless. The bed was large and cozy with fresh linens, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was good. While the selection was on the smaller side, it had everything you need — cheese, cold cuts, eggs, yogurts (including vegan options), and, of course, delicious coffee to start the day. The hotel provides free parking, and finding a spot was completely problem-free in the night. It is a huge plus that they welcome pets with no issues. We would definitely stay here again.

15/06/2026: I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The young staff, Justine and Florian, as well as Ramage, the hotel's intern, were very welcoming to me every evening. But I have absolutely nothing to say about the rest of the team, whose names I don't know, but they were all very kind and helpful. See you soon! 🤗

24/08/2026: I came for a drink with friends, and the waiter was particularly rude. He made snide remarks to my friends and refused to serve us a drink that was supposed to be free, even though there were six of us ordering and we weren't thirsty. We left, and he wanted to charge us even though we hadn't had a drink yet.

24/08/2026: Hello, today we came to have drinks with friends. The awful waiter forced us to hurry up and order. One of my friends didn't want to order, but he forced him to drink or else he made him leave the bar. He made comments like "hurry up and order" (excessive). Bad experience, I do not recommend it.

31/08/2026: Had a great large coffee here. Very courteous staff. Companion forgot her backpack and they had her back! They had it stored already behind the counter waiting for her Place is 5/5. And the food also looks very good Albeit we weren’t ready to eat

29/08/2026: This small cafe had the best selection of grab and go meals and snacks out of any place I have seen in Paris. Often cafes only have croissants and some desserts or just some basic sandwiches. This place had so much selection it was hard to choose! It is across the street from Sainte Chapelle, so it was busy. The workers are efficient and kept the line moving. I wish I had a chance to come back to try more things! My kids loved the ice cream cups!
