26/09/2025: Hello everyone! Today my wife and I went to eat at Courte Paille in Pontarlier. We ordered the same dish: a casserole with three types of fish. Unfortunately, the casserole only contained a small piece of salmon with rice and a large piece of lemon. The dish cost €17, and the contents barely filled half of the small casserole. I spoke to the employee, explaining that there was no fish, and she apologized. It's shameful to take advantage of customers. I regret choosing this restaurant. I'm fed up with being ripped off.

Friendly staff
But overall, go there if you have no other options because the prices remain high for salads or basic dishes.

07/03/2026: Fantastic restaurant, friendly welcome, fresh, homemade products. Prices are perfectly reasonable considering the generous portions! I highly recommend it, especially since they'll be selling the restaurant in the coming weeks!

15/05/2026: A small, cozy restaurant serving traditional French food. We ordered a fondue, which came with salad and cured meats. They bring a very generous tray of bread for dipping. Personally, I didn't enjoy the fondue because of its texture—partly liquid and partly lumpy—but my companions thoroughly enjoyed it.
03/05/2026: The service was extremely slow; it took over half an hour to pick up our order even though it wasn't that busy. The food was very good, but I recommend ordering a starter to be fully satisfied; the main course alone won't be enough.

The first time, excellent in every way.
Today, it's not the same. The food was good, but the breaded cutlet was overcooked and far too greasy (fried)... and the pizza wasn't anything special.
The service was impeccable.
We're really disappointed.

14/06/2026: I came with my family for the first time. We asked to change tables because my son was asleep and I wanted to be able to lay him down, and Christophe, the waiter, found us another table. He's very attentive and pleasant. I think we'll be back very soon.
13/06/2026: I came to eat today with my children and ordered the rare goat cheese burger. The food arrived, my children were delighted, but I was surprised because my burger was cold… I sent another one, and when it came back, it was hot, but I couldn't find the goat cheese… I explained this to the waiter, who was very kind, and he told me I should speak to one of his managers… No problem, so I decided to pay directly at the register since there was a manager there, and to my great surprise, he couldn't care less. I paid my bill, and he said, "See you soon!" I said, hoping things would be better, and he just said, "Sorry…" Honestly, I was really disappointed…
