Les meilleurs restaurants en Valence

11/09/2026: Very good, Perhaps a little too peppery for my taste!

11/09/2026: I ordered a bowl with nuggets and fries, and I was extremely disappointed. The toppings with the fries were really underwhelming, and the amount of white sauce and cheese was so excessive that the dish was simply inedible. I'm a big fan of cheese and cheese sauce, but this was just way too much. I'm very disappointed with my experience and I absolutely do not recommend it. Ultimately, I feel like you're paying for the brand name and not the quality of the food.

20/09/2026: An exceptional experience. For our trip from the North to the South of France, we had planned a stop in Valence to sample Madame Pic's cuisine. We couldn't afford the 3-Michelin-starred restaurant, but Bistrot André, Pic's second restaurant in Valence, promised a wonderful culinary experience. And it delivered. To quote Emmanuelle Jary (it's better when it's good), "when you cook well, you cook well on every level." From the welcome to the service at the table and the small plates on the tasting menu, we were delighted with the restaurant's offerings. We also made a point of trying their signature appetizer, a blend of land and sea, and a passionate sommelier who amazed us with his wine pairings. The conversations and the short tour offered by the hostess brought this culinary experience to a perfect close. Being from Northern France, we clicked immediately. 🥰 Thank you for this wonderful experience, if you are ever in Valence, if you have a must-see, it's Maison Pic!

20/09/2026: It was our first time dining at Bistrot André, thanks to a gift certificate we received. A wonderful opportunity to discover this sublime place! We were lucky enough to eat outside in a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, feeling like we were in another world. The food is simply exceptional, and the staff is truly outstanding! We particularly appreciated the attention paid to allergies: the allergens we mentioned when making the reservation were carefully taken into account beforehand, and suitable dishes were offered to us with great care. The recommendations regarding wines, as well as the non-alcoholic alternatives to accompany the different dishes, were also a delightful discovery. Everything was perfectly paired, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. A truly wonderful experience, with excellent value for money. We're already planning to come back more often to explore more of Bistrot André's cuisine!

21/09/2026: Nice place to have a quick beer and they allow customers to eat the food bought in the Tapas parlor right in front.

21/08/2026: Excellent bar! We were passing through with friends and thoroughly enjoyed our pleasant time over cocktails. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and if you'd like brunch to go with your drink, you can order from Pouleto, for example, and eat on the terrace!

13/09/2026: Very pleasant staff. Fast service. Top-notch.

13/09/2026: We came specifically for the covettes, but there weren't any in stock.

07/08/2026: The service was extremely sloppy – a shame, because everything else was very, very good. So, the service needs organizing and improving. A waiter at these tables… simply… worth trying!! 😜😜

05/08/2026: A very pleasant break after leaving the motorway. Shaded terrace. Friendly and efficient service. Short but appealing menu of homemade products.

13/09/2026: Very friendly. Professional welcome; the servers greet you with a big smile. Delicious food and very fast service. I highly recommend it.

12/09/2026: We ate here in the evening. The ravioli was okay, but the pizza was mediocre. Hard-crust salmon with arugula and too much crème fraîche on top. Not tasty!

29/08/2026: A very good, hearty meal in a lovely atmosphere, thank you Sandrine!

29/08/2026: Excellent establishment, perfect service. Generous portions.

20/09/2026: A place we love to return to ✨ both for the delicious coffee and the warm welcome! ☕️ The manager and her entire team are lovely, always smiling and attentive. There are thoughtful touches, kindness, and thoughtfulness, and the quality of the products is outstanding, so thank you. We feel very comfortable and always well received. Thank you to the whole team for these wonderful moments every day! ❤️

03/09/2026: Never disappointed by this café. The staff is lovely. Thank you to the manager for her kindness and warm welcome!

13/09/2026: A must-visit in Valence! We recently discovered their macarons and ice cream, and what a delightful surprise: they are simply delicious! A true gourmet discovery. The service is also top-notch, with a warm, smiling, and professional team. We particularly appreciated the opportunity to sample some products, especially the chocolate, for free before making our selection, in front of the Peynet kiosk and Crussol Castle. And of course, it's impossible to talk about Guillet without mentioning their pogne and suisses, whose quality has remained true to my memories for years. They are classic treats that we always enjoy. This is a place I love to visit and which has become a must for us whenever we return to Valence. I highly recommend it!

10/09/2026: Lucille provided impeccable service. The ice cream, coffee, and chocolates were delicious! A must-try when visiting Valencia!

27/08/2026: Despite the restaurant being packed, we were served very quickly and with a smile. The meal was very good, and the price was right too. Perfect for lunch.

09/07/2026: Excellent dish of cuttlefish and homemade Taramisu.

30/09/2026: I went to Le Cèdre on a whim. I haven't regretted it for a second. Exceptionally friendly service, fantastic food, and fair prices. They even brought a large bottle of still water with my meal, no questions asked. If you enjoy Lebanese cuisine, you absolutely must eat here.

01/09/2026: We had a great time, the meal was very good 👍

19/09/2026: A truly wonderful experience; we had an excellent evening. The food was superb, and the chef was very accommodating to complex allergies when you're prepared in advance. Marvelous. Thank you for this exceptional evening.

01/09/2026: A hushed atmosphere and intimate dining rooms. We had a wonderful time with friends. We really enjoyed the surprise menu concept. We chose the five-course menu, and it was a delightful discovery with each course. Everything was exquisite, with original flavors and beautiful presentation. A particular favorite was the Arctic char cooked at low temperature. The sequence of dishes was perfect, and the service was attentive. A very high rating for this Michelin-starred restaurant!

17/05/2026: Excellent service from the hostesses and hosts, both at the spa reception and in the restaurant. We thank Fanie and her colleague for our relaxing couples massage, and the entire brunch team.

17/05/2026: Nice and very comfortable hotel. Excellent welcome. Pleasant setting, pool and spa. Hotel restaurant: I ate there once a few weeks ago. It was very good! One small drawback: no restaurants/bars nearby if you want to go out.

20/09/2026: Excellent food from start to finish. Very friendly sommelier! (Minor complaint: the gin and verbena cocktail offered that evening wasn't very interesting.)

19/09/2026: I came using a gift certificate. I hesitated between this and Le Bac à Traille, which I think is more my style "on paper"... nevertheless, I don't regret this exquisite and meticulously prepared culinary experience at all. The dishes are delicious and refined. The servers are attentive and professional, just the right amount of professional and caring without being intrusive. Everyone, from the apprentice to the head chef, is dedicated, with no variation in quality. In my opinion, it's excellent value for money and atmosphere if you're looking for a Michelin-starred experience.

01/04/2026: Restaurant located in a former grocery store. Very welcoming, set menu with reasonable prices and local products. Sparkling aperitif 🥂 with a very smooth chestnut liqueur – a delight. Excellent food. I highly recommend it.

29/03/2026: We ate here on Valentine's Day for a champagne dinner. The dishes were superb. We enjoyed a wonderful meal, all accompanied by free-flowing champagne. The welcome was warm and friendly. The decor is fantastic, in a historic building in the center of Valence.
