16/09/2024: Here we come for the cuisine, the setting and to have a good time with friends or as a couple.
Everything is conducive to relaxation.
The menu is superbly mastered and we come here above all for inventive cuisine which stimulates the taste buds and which gives pride of place to seasonal and regional products.
The wine list is impressive.
The service is professional.
In short, a great place to have a great time.

09/09/2024: A very nice evening (Reunionese from Friday to Saturday) in this restaurant where you feel at home. Very well received.
First of all, a rum mixed with all kinds, then a Reunion discovery menu with a perfect starter mix (accras samosa fish with lemony coconut milk cork....), then 3 hot dishes in a fondue pot (mutton, octopus, rougail sausage, rice) sorry I don't remember the names of the dishes 🤔 which delight the taste buds. a free rum before moving on to dessert. (Lemon meringue tart for my part
Very good cuisine, I will return to this restaurant with pleasure. Very reasonable price for the quality and quantity
06/07/2024: First quick pass for a first opinion before enjoying a real meal with more time. We were accepted around 10:00 p.m. which is becoming rare in Bourg.
Very decent welcome despite a starter and a dessert. We will definitely come back!

30/08/2024: Don’t hesitate to open the door of this very friendly restaurant, excellent cuisine with burgers that are different from the ordinary! Not forgetting the fast service and very attentive staff!
29/08/2024: Not like before...
We took away, same price as on site €17.90 (super expensive!)
No more homemade chips, instead we had Doritos... The transport bags are of poor quality, it's all open, the fries on the floor.
Too bad we love the old version... I'll give it one last chance when we go to eat there (because the burgers are good)

24/09/2024: Located opposite the royal monastery of Brou, the establishment with its discreet facade will surprise you with its sophisticated simplicity. The room is pleasant, the service perfect. Chic restaurant atmosphere.
On the menu:
• 2 Bresse chickens, morel/Chardonnay sauce + basmati rice? Impeccable.
• 1 coffee.
Surprise at the bill, a small plate garnished with two meringues and two lace tuiles of sesame seed nougatine. Delicious.
On the bill; 69.20 euros
Very good value for money.

07/06/2024: Après en avoir entendu parler, en bien forcement, nous avons testé ce restaurant du centre de Bourg. La carte est limitée, avec des produits du terroir, et fraicheur garantie. Le chef ayant fait ses classes dans plusieurs restaurants institutions culinaires de la region, nous nous doutions que nous ne serions pas déçus. Nous avons réellement apprécié l'ensemble des plats (oeuf cocotte creme de morilles, quenelle et son croustillant de riz, et les desserts), le tout dans une ambiance détendue et une équipe sympathique. Les avis ne sont donc pas galvaudés. Merci à vous !

01/09/2024: Good restaurant with a menu perhaps too limited in choice but well-prepared and well-executed dishes. Attentive and prompt service. Account in the norm and in line with what you receive. It doesn't disappoint.
17/08/2024: I had an excellent time at the Brasserie "Place Bernard", thanks in particular to the warm welcome and professionalism of Anaïs and Sandy! :)
I invited my parents, and they were delighted with the experience.
In the kitchen, Bertrand is simply incredible, and his dishes have delighted our taste buds.
Well done to the whole team.
As for Jérôme, the head waiter, he manages the establishment with exemplary mastery.
A big thank you to the whole team for this memorable moment!

In addition, be very careful when you give your list of allergens that you cannot consume. There is choice, the menu is varied. 08/08/2024: We knew this restaurant before, since its takeover we had had some mixed feedback, but we wanted to form our own opinion.
Clearly we were very disappointed, both by the cold and borderline aggressive welcome, and by the cuisine (limited choice of buffet, dishes that were not very copious and not really seasonal).
Let's hope that the upcoming holidays will do this team a lot of good.

22/09/2024: Accueil plus que moyen, la terrasse pourrait être sympa......... Après 3/4 d'heure d'attente sans rien nous dire même après avoir demandé plusieurs fois si il était possible de passer commande nous sommes partis!!!!!
16/09/2024: Idéalement placé près de l'abbaye de Brou, le restaurant propose des plats locaux. L'accueil est sympathique et le service assez rapide malgré un groupe dans la salle.
Belle terrasse sous les arbres centenaires mais le soleil n'était pas au rendez-vous...
Rapport qualité prix correct.

26/09/2024: I ate a 200g fillet of beef and it was very tender, accompanied with french fries and a small plate of salad. A glass of red wine and for dessert a chocolate cake on a bed of cream. All good. The price maybe a little high but all in all the food was good. For a stop for lunch or dinner, for me it's worth the stop.
21/09/2024: We had reservations and when we arrived, our table wasn't even ready. Then we saw on the menu outside that there were frog legs then when ordering there were more, apparently stolen even though there were 3 tables used in the room.
In short, the meat chosen in the end was good even if the wait was long for such an empty room.
