24/04/2024: Good morning, I went to this restaurant this afternoon, there was a young girl who was learning the trade and the manager or boss lectured her in front of the customers saying that she didn't know how to count. I wouldn't go back there again, too bad.

05/05/2024: Sometimes the restaurants nearest a city's main visitors' site - in Laon's case, its awe-inspiring medieval cathedral - can disappoint. Today, Le Parvis shone for us. There's a choice of 3 set lunch menus, from Euros 18.80 - 45 in addition to its a la carte dishes, which were not unreasonable either. We settled for the 32.50 plate as the 3 courses were exactly as featured on the main tariff We were attended to with no pre-booking and respectful cheerfulness. Drinks were ordered and served promptly and, our lunch choices made, were accompanied with a surprising amuse bouche of a light, herby flavoured chicken mousse with sweet potato strands, the fresh bread and tap water without demurement. My husband then had the boeuf carbonade with gingerbread to dip in the unctuous sauce while I tucked into a boudin blanc made of minced rabbit, served with creamy mash and a whole poached yellow apple. The golden honey sauce was delicious! The dessert following was perfectly sufficient - classic poached pear with citrus slices in a warm red wine jus edged with cocoa in attractively large bowls. Coffee to follow - decaf for the driver was available. What made this fairly simple fayre extra special was the delightful service from our 3 waitresses - unpretentious and interested in their customers needs. We hadn't looked at any reviews before our visit to Le Parvis and we can't understand how anyone could be disappointed by the service, food, ambience or price. We felt thoroughly spoiled and well-catered for throughout! PS The loos were spotless too!

23/04/2024: Nous avions réservé pour six adultes et quatre enfants, arrivée prévue 12h30, samedi 20.04.24 pour fêter deux anniversaires (sur recommandations des propriétaires du gite dans lequel nous séjournions à quelques kms. Nous nous sommes présentés à l'heure convenue. Déjà, il a fallu réclamer au bout d'une demi heure la carte pour se faire une idée du choix des plats, puis patienter encore que la commande soit enregistrée, en demandant gentiment si il y avait possibilité de servir en priorité les petits qui s'attaquaient aux nappes en papier, quand nos entrées ont été amenées il s'était écoulé plus d'une heure, le pain dans les corbeilles avait été englouti avant, il a fallu en réclamer, puis arrivent les plats certes copieux mais pour certains on voyait que la viande avait été oubliée sur le grill. l'une des deux serveuses qui avait pris notre commande de nous demander ce que nous voulions boire, je lui réponds encore faudrait il savoir ce que votre établissement propose sur la carte aucune mention de boissons. Bref plutôt déçu de cette première et qui sera très certainement l'unique expérience dans cet établissement, et qui pourtant à tout les atouts pour marcher du tonner de dieu, un grand parking, au calme, des voies d'accès rapides à proximité. Si nous revenons dans la région comme nous l'envisageons, nous passerons notre chemin.

15/03/2024: I am delighted to share my opinion on the restaurant "Le Lagon Bleu", located on the edge of a lake with turquoise blue water. Our experience at this establishment was simply magical. As soon as we arrived at the Blue Lagoon, we were warmly welcomed. The staff was attentive and professional, providing us with impeccable service throughout our meal. The view from our table was breathtaking. The lake sparkled in the sun, creating a stunning backdrop for our dining experience. We felt transported to a tranquil paradise, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The restaurant menu is very correct and the dishes are delicious. What made our experience at the Blue Lagoon even more special was the ability to take our pet with us. Our faithful companion was greeted with kindness, and we were able to enjoy his company throughout the meal. After our meal, we decided to enjoy the beautiful surroundings by taking a walk along the lake. The trails offered spectacular views, and we were able to admire the surrounding natural beauty while strolling in the afternoon sun. In conclusion, our experience at Le Lagon Bleu restaurant was more than successful. Between the beautiful view, the delicious food, the impeccable service and the ability to take our pet with us, it was a perfect day. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fine dining experience in an idyllic setting.

30/03/2024: It's already very complicated to find a bar in Soissons, what a disappointment at Clovis, you can feel the animosity between the waitresses, the smiles are overpriced....Put in 3 guys and you'll see there won't be this kind of thing anymore. atmosphere....deplorable I do not recommend at all
