19/09/2024: What a great discovery this restaurant has with a very pleasant room, top-notch service and cuisine that delighted us. We were delighted with this lunch break in the upper town of Laon, which I really like.

A historic and charming hotel that truly deserves a visit.
14/11/2025: Super helpful, sweet, and friendly couple. Homemade jam and cake for breakfast, which was also very good.
The location is good in the center of Haite Ville.
Laon is a charming little old town.

27/11/2025: We went for dinner at Chenizelles after exploring Laon. Our host recommended it and we weren't disappointed. The food was great and our waiter was also very friendly, seating us in a quiet corner. Next time we're in Laon we'll certainly come back.

Maroilles crepe and minced steak: the steak is hard and surely cooked but cold, a tasteless crepe with no taste, cardboard and the salad with black edges... the total!!! , fast service and quick departure...
I don't understand the other comments unless it's bad luck... but then a very big lack!
And it's been 38 years according to a poster that the boss has been doing these "things"

28/09/2024: Restaurant very well located, however the waitresses are very unpleasant and indulge in misplaced remarks to the children, the manager let's not talk about it. The cuisine is much too expensive because the quality is not there, the dishes are tasteless. We do not recommend this tourist trap

Unfriendly boss. Tourist trap in all its glory.
Incredibly expensive coffee with a taste worthy of the darkest harbors in the Paris region, the chardonnay supposedly at six euros a glass was not only abstruse but left me with a migraine three days later.
Prohibitive prices.
If only this place could be bought by serious, smiling and professional people... The world would only be a better place.

03/12/2024: Nous avons passé un très bon moment, les plats proposés étaient bons même si nous avons trouvé les quantités proposées un peu excessives notamment sur les viandes par rapport aux garnitures.
N'étant pas de gros mangeurs, nous ne parvenions pas à finir nos plats.
Mais la qualité était présente.
11/11/2024: Le parti pris du chef : des produits en circuit court, de saison et de qualité, bien travaillés, sans « chichi ». Une carte des vins et alcools intelligente, avec de belles découvertes à des prix tout à fait corrects. Accueil sympathique. À ces prix là, il ne faut pas trop en attendre côté déco et vaisselle; mais ce qui compte, c’est ce qu’on a dans l’assiette, non?

02/11/2024: Ce restaurant aurait besoin d un grand rafraîchissement. La pâte à pizza n était pas cuite du tout en dessous les champignons sont noirs car ce sont des surgelés le chorizo était complètement calciné dommage car elles pourraient être excellents avec des champignons frais et un four mieux réglé. Attention à l addition qui n était pas conforme. De plus on nous a servi les pizzas quelques minute après l apéritif que nous avons fini en mangeant. Par contre personnel vraiment très sympathique
12/09/2024: Cc, bonne pizza cuite au feu de bois, avec des produits de qualité à un prix tout doux. Personnel très sympathique. La petite touche sympa aussi les gâteaux à l apéro.

01/07/2024: Scammer boss a slice of lemon for 20 cents he gives you a hot beer you tell him and ask him for a cold beer because this one is hot he brings you a cold one and plans to make you pay for it again I was a loyal customer well you won't see anymore
Not a trader at all thinks that he has his money
It's not worth the previous owner
Just Jean Philippe and Nadine good at this place
