03/11/2025: Beautiful accommodation in a great, central location with a good breakfast and friendly service.

25/10/2025: My husband and I were wandering about with no real plans after drivingaway from Nice, except to see the countryside, and landed in this wonderful little village and at this lovely hotel. We ended up spending 3 nights in a clean and comfortable room. We were treated so kindly and respectfully by the owner and staff. Breakfast was deluxe with many options. We really hated to leave and hope to return in the not so distant future. Castellane is an excellent base from which to explore the breathtaking countryside and the view from the chapel above town is quite extraordinary. Every turn in this sweet place is an opportunity to learn about its history.

20/09/2024: Great address where we certainly eat the best Neapolitan pizzas in the area, they tick all the boxes both in terms of the quality of the attentive service 👌🏼 and in the quality of what they serve us, a family address of great quality where we will return and which we recommend without hesitation!!!👌🏼

17/09/2024: The pizzas we were served were all excellent and generously garnished. This establishment has recently been taken over by young people who work with family and it is really a good address.

28/09/2024: Carpaccio was cold, tough and wet. Few taste. My husband had something like lamb with tough pieces in between and little flavor. We were busy cleaning while we were still eating. Downright bad and we are easy eaters!

08/09/2024: Hotel restaurant in its own right which has been its charm for several decades that I have known it, the owner always so welcoming. The food is very good as well as the breakfast. Very friendly staff too.

31/08/2024: Hotel restaurant at the foot of the Val d Allos slopes.. Friendly and dynamic welcome. Meals with local specialties… a real delight…. Cute room with a breathtaking view of the Col d Allos. A place to remember….👍👌

18/03/2024: Friendly 🍺 bar in the center of La Foux. Friendly atmosphere, ideal after a good day of skiing. Lots of beers to choose from, obviously, but also 🍷. Possibility of tasting tapas, bruschetta or pizzas. We tried the pizzas, good and very generous. Correct prices.

18/03/2024: Bar à 🍺 sympathique dans le centre de la Foux. Ambiance conviviale, idéal après une bonne journée de ski. Beaucoup de bières au choix, évidemment, mais aussi du🍷. Possibilité de déguster des tapas, bruschetta ou pizzas. Nous avons testé les pizzas, bonnes et très copieuses. Tarifs corrects.

27/08/2024: Brasserie in the shade of plane trees, with very pleasant waiters, fast service and plates of fresh produce. The “gourmet” coffee is very generous and lives up to its name in this restaurant 😉

22/08/2024: Low-cost family restaurant with daily specials and home cooking. The team is nice. Pleasant terrace in the shade near a fountain

15/09/2024: Super tasty snack with good value for money. The fish and chips were divine and prepared with a lot of love. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. I'd love to come by again.

04/09/2024: A warm and humorous welcome. The products are fresh, cooked to order, tasty. The prices are very reasonable. What more could you ask for? Visited again very recently, and still very well received and always excellent taste quality.

01/09/2024: Miserable! I am not sure why this lady wants to work in a client facing role, when she clearly doesn't like people. We visited as a friendly group of mixed European cyclists for coffee. Wow! What an awful reception. She made a mistake on our order but when we asked for a replacement she was not happy! Super rude.

14/11/2024: Great experience in this restaurant on the central square of the village. The dishes are copious and made with quality products.

06/09/2024: Restaurant that I recommend. The staff and owners are very kind and smiling. The plates are plentiful and only fresh products are used. Keep your chef. We ate there twice in a week. We will come back next year.
