24/07/2026: We received a very warm welcome at this restaurant where we had a delicious lunch after the market. A table was set aside for the children, who were very well looked after. A truly kid-friendly establishment. We ordered the daily special, a meat dish that the waitresses rightly recommended. We thoroughly enjoyed it, as did the children with the lasagna and pizza. The staff were incredibly kind. Thank you for the warm welcome.

19/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful discovery in Castellane! We received a warm welcome upon arrival and the service was impeccable. A huge thank you to the incredibly kind servers, who even came to greet us before finishing their shift—a thoughtful touch that truly made a difference. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals: roasted Camembert, pizza, red meat, and the children's menu—everything was delicious. The portions are generous and the ingredients are high quality. An excellent restaurant that we wholeheartedly recommend if you're visiting the Verdon region.

29/06/2026: We walked past it... we saw everything set up. We wanted to go in, but who I think was the owner told us they were closed. We ate somewhere else and then came back after a while. There were people eating. To make it clear, we passed by at both 7 and 8:30 PM.

24/06/2026: The crepes are very tasty, but the traffic is annoying.

08/03/2026: Disappointing since the change of ownership, expensive food, barely friendly waiters... There were five of us, and we were moved to a table for four. I then found a plastic tag in my plate and felt like I was bothering them when I pointed it out... We really miss the old team and the self-service area with its reasonable prices.

23/02/2026: New owners! This "family" gave us a very warm welcome, and our table of 14 (!) didn't even have time to finish our aperitifs before the main courses arrived perfectly, and we thoroughly enjoyed them! A great break on the slopes, I highly recommend it. As an added bonus, a shot of génépi (€5) with a coffee (€2) is perfect for a boost during your morning or afternoon break – nothing better!

29/03/2026: It's not so much a question of quality as of quantity on the plate... especially for the price! €6 for half a glass of white wine is a bit steep. Perhaps we should have checked reviews of other restaurants before choosing. Anyway. It's a shame, the place is nice.

15/05/2026: Travelers Beware!!! As overlanders, we are sometimes prevented from arriving at our destinations due to bad weather, road closures, illness, mechanical breakdowns, accidents or pandemics. These are sometimes issues beyond our control, and so you would think that the property owner would be understanding, especially during a snowstorm that results in a road closure where the local police prevent motorcyclists from continuing their journey for safety reasons, which is understandable despite being extremely inconvenient. For the property owner to still charge for the room and then state that they don't control the weather, is extremely disrespectful and demonstrates a serious lack of empathy for their guests. So, to all you travelers out there...if you experience a problem on the road and are unable to arrive at this hotel, don't expect ANY sympathy whatsoever from the owner, who made the choice to not issue a refund, despite the lame intervention from booking.com. Too much greed in the world today!

25/02/2026: Delicious Millefeuille! Vanilla and rum for me. Absolutely to my taste 🥰 The inverted puff pastry was beautifully golden, and the cream was deliciously rich yet light. Perfectly flavored. A wonderfully refreshing dessert! Other flavors are available for the millefeuille (Vanilla/Raspberry Vanilla/Rum Vanilla/Exotic (Rum) Chocolate Praline...). Also, other fantastic desserts: the Tatin! The Magnum Caramel! And delicious chocolates... I can't wait for Easter 🍫🐰 Well done and thank you, Cyril. See you soon!!!

01/06/2026: The room was very basic but the bed was comfortable. The hotel is very well located. The staff were very friendly. What will make us return is Mr. Michel's warm welcome; we have rarely seen someone so attentive to their guests. A big thank you to you!

16/07/2026: We arrived at 8 pm and only waited 5 minutes. The servers were fantastic, very kind and welcoming. Thank you to them! As for the food, everything was perfect 👌. We thoroughly enjoyed it, with a special mention for the quality of the meat. We were seated next to the waterfall. It was magnificent, and we were able to enjoy the cool atmosphere. The price is quite reasonable considering the beauty of the setting and the quality of the food.

16/07/2026: The meat was overcooked even though we ordered it medium. The fries were so undercooked they were practically chips. The service was incredibly slow; we ordered desserts that were never served… and after a 20-minute wait, we didn't even apologize. So, avoid this place.

11/07/2026: We spent a long time at this hotel, which is close to the city center but very quiet. The welcome was very pleasant, the room clean and well laid out. Breakfast is available outdoors if you wish. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

The establishment is pleasant, relaxing, and perfectly suited for recharging during a wellness retreat. We felt truly at ease there.
