04/04/2024: Absolute great experience with Restaurant Le J, the owner was super friendly and patiently explained the whole menu in English. The menu was designed based on the fresh ingredients they get on the day and was presented in a creative way. The main courses (especially the prawn dish) had multiple layers of flavours and textures that worked out well. The dessert was a bomb and a must try! The caramelised hazelnuts on top was a highlight.
It is relatively pricy but it matches with the quality you get. Overall it’s very worth it!

09/05/2024: Intrigued by the facade and the location of the restaurant (cellar), we were very pleasantly surprised.
The service was excellent, a waitress of rare kindness, we clearly recognize the values of the south. The menu at €25.80 is well worth it! Discovery of local products as a starter, ravioli with truffle oil and succulent desserts... Nothing to complain about.

03/05/2024: Great surprise. Very warm welcome. Very cozy setting, like before and the cuisine is top notch. Local and very very tasty. Small menu obviously because it's fresh. I loved. Thank you and stay as is., I found the tasty cuisine of my childhood.

Each sip of wine, very well selected for our menu, is a delight.. Thanks to Amandine and Francky for such a warm welcome, thanks to Mathieu for creating the magic of our dishes 🌈🍷👌

22/03/2024: Slightly disappointed with the experience. The deco is amazing and there's a lot of attention to details.
However the New "concept" for food is nothing else but small tasty food portions (it's good but it's small) and even with a starter/main/side you could still end up feeling unsatisfied. We also had to wait unusually longer for our dishes to arrive and our drinks order was forgotten.
While I like the deco and the location (which is probably what you pay for) , plenty of other restaurants will offer a much better value for money on the food and the drinks.
16/01/2024: We had dinner with friends on a weeknight.
It was as cold inside as outside! The waiters themselves suffered from the cold despite their down jackets.
How can we welcome customers in these conditions?! Who wants to pay €60 for their meal not to enjoy it?
We wrote an email to management to inform them of this experience but there was no response.

01/04/2024: First positive experience. Cuisine with topette flavors, welcome but the fish was too small.
Second fairly negative experience. Quite bland dishes and ridiculous quantity for a very high price. 5 small scallops and a few small slices of truffles for €59…and I have a small appetite! Vegetables…rare…
Unfortunately we have to ask for more water… we will not go back there and I regret it..

09/03/2024: False advertising. This place is supposed to be a jazz bar. The drinks are named after jazz artists - and they are good - BUT they refuse to play jazz. Apparently the owner hates jazz. He must have inherited this bar from someone with taste. Also we were there on a Saturday. and there was no live music.
The staff was nice but the owner was rude and refused to play even one jazz song.

27/03/2024: Hello, We regret our choice!
We came to eat last night, certainly a little late I admit however, the dishes were not crazy, home fries reheated with dry salmon, and for the other dish, the sauce was too salty, no taste, shrimp just added like that... in short we won't come back again. Valérie still on top though 👍🏻
26/03/2024: Friendly service, the pizzas were good, but what a hassle to cut them, they overflow too much from a small deep plate, he could change that we can't cut it. The dessert was very good, on the other hand, the margarita cocktail we would have raw pure lemon pulco juice with ice cubes.

She had never taken a ski lift, always on carpets.

31/03/2024: As someone from Antiboise, I had wanted to try this restaurant with a friend for a while. We were not disappointed... what a shame not to have experienced it sooner... because a restaurant of this quality in Juan les Pins is rare... Everything was perfect, excellent, very generous lunch, home-cooked products... a great chef and his wife in the dining room are exceptionally kind! We are going to go back very soon, especially since for lunch, their formula is more than reasonably priced. An address that is worth the detour! I highly recommend.... They just deserve to be able to have a location more in line with the quality of their cuisine...
24/03/2024: An incredible seafood paella!!! Really huge portion, I couldn't finish it. Very kind owner and music not too loud

12/01/2024: 1 week where we ate at 12 every lunchtime, every day two varied and delicious daily specials in addition to the menu, an adapted service with facilities and orders offered in advance for faster service, absolutely desserts fantastic and gargantuan for a more than reasonable price and extremely friendly staff

26/02/2024: We weren't received any better than elsewhere, unfortunately the French definitely have a reputation to uphold...
The establishment is chic and quite clean, the dishes are tasty, on the other hand the prices... how can I say... 500€ for 3 people, just to eat fish, at that price, a smile would not have was luxury.
