03/05/2026: I stopped once at this small place with a few tables outside. I wouldn't call it a restaurant. It's at the back with outside tables. They quoted me one price and then charged me a higher one. I came back today, stopping by early to make a reservation, but they didn't write my name down, so they rudely told me there was no room. They're profit-driven; if you take everything, they run away; if you take less, they decide as they please. The bathroom is very uncomfortable outside with a long staircase to go up and down. Choose a better place, "La Pescheria," on the other side of the market, which is very popular and has better quality.

01/05/2026: A truly awful experience, and I mean it. A few days ago, I made a reservation for six people at L’Épi Beach restaurant, requesting a table at 2:00 PM. I then received a confirmation email for 2:30 PM—nothing wrong so far. The manager called to confirm, and I took the opportunity to ask if it would be possible to arrive at 2:00 PM. She replied clearly: “Of course, it’s even better.” So we arrived at 2:00 PM. And there, without even a greeting, a middle-aged blonde woman greeted us in an extremely unpleasant manner with: “Is this a reservation for six? Well, you’re late.” I calmly explained that no, we were actually early compared to the confirmed time. She curtly told me to wait, that she didn’t have any space, and then disappeared. The manager then arrived, visibly overwhelmed and stressed, and asked me if it was for the beach or the restaurant. I told her we were going to the restaurant, specifying that we were planning to go to the beach afterward. And then, in a condescending tone: "Oh no! If you go to the restaurant, there's no access to the sea." This information had never been mentioned before. I explained that I hadn't known this and that in neighboring establishments like Yolo or La Jetée, the policy was different. And then, the same blonde woman had the nerve to reply: "You should have gone to Yolo." A completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and disrespectful response. Shocked by such a lack of business sense and courtesy, I immediately left. Unfortunately, Yolo was full, so we went to La Jetée, right next door, where the welcome was, in contrast, warm and professional—the complete opposite. Frankly, given the level of service and the staff's attitude, the owner has good reason to be worried. I won't be going back.

16/04/2026: The location was very easy to find, and it only took 10 minutes to get to the train station after the meal. Our seats were in the square, and the weather in southern France in April was very pleasant. The two of us ordered a seafood set meal, an octopus pasta dish, and a glass of white wine, totaling 55 euros. The seafood was very fresh, and the oysters were silky smooth. However, perhaps due to the language barrier, the waiters seemed very indifferent and didn't smile at all during the meal.

15/04/2026: Lovely seafood restaurant with excellent service and delicious food. 6 delicious fresh oysters with a good glass of white wine for 17 euros as a light lunch, and a nice menu otherwise. Highly recommended!

21/05/2026: Avoid this place. We ordered the linguine with clams. The pasta was unsalted and swimming in a sauce that tasted like snail butter, the clams were frozen and rubbery—horrible!—and the parsley was chopped like it came out of a food processor! The Thai tartare was nothing like Thai, practically made with maple syrup—it was so sweet! The fries were frozen like McDonald's fries. This is just my opinion as a chef. A word to the wise.

11/04/2026: The waiter with glasses and a ponytail was unhelpful and spoke arrogantly to customers. We didn't order wine, and he had the nerve to call us "boring." He also charged us for a sauce with our steak without informing us beforehand. When we asked him what the extra charge was for, he claimed he had announced it, even though there were three of us at the table and none of us had heard him. Was I really going to eat my steak and fries without sauce? It's the first time I've ever been charged for a sauce without being told. I didn't feel comfortable in this restaurant. I should mention, however, that the food was very good and the other servers were pleasant, but our experience was marred by this one person.

09/04/2026: Excellent value for money. Unfortunately, one dish was forgotten and arrived much later. A shame. However, the quality of the food was superb. The price for the mini-menu was almost unbeatable.

23/02/2026: Excellent restaurant, great value for money. The menu is extensive. The waitress was fantastic, I highly recommend it. No waiting after ordering. Good communication between the dining room and the kitchen. Don't hesitate, you'll be delighted and very satisfied. Everyone pitches in.

22/02/2026: A very pleasant little restaurant with good food. We came in February 2026 and had a very good daily special (cod loin with aioli and vegetables). I recommend it.

21/02/2026: The crepes were half burnt. I asked for takeout and they were served on a piece of paper. In short, a ruined dessert. What a shame, the rest of the meal was okay. Honestly, they really need to improve; it's truly shameful.

18/02/2026: I wanted to congratulate the Flunch team. We arrived early, at 11:30 am, because we had an appointment afterward. The whole team was fantastic: those setting up the food, the cashier, the meat cooks, the ice cream maker... truly exceptional politeness, kindness, and smiles to boot. It's true it was the beginning of service, but it was a real pleasure. Thank you, keep up the good work! 👏🏻
