22/08/2024: A big warm welcome from Maryline and the whole team. A week spent with my husband, lots of sites to visit around. We took a fan for the room because the rooms are not air conditioned. We recommend it.

07/05/2024: Depuis 1986 la bande de copains de retrouve. Cette année c'est à l'auberge de Chaneac que nous nous sommes pausé un weekend. Accueil sympathique dans une habitation traditionnelle savamment organiser pour servir de restaurant et d'hébergement (18). pour les repas c'est produits locaux et maison, gastronomique est le qualificatif qui convient. Pour finir un service gracieux. Alors pour me croire allez y vous me raconterez

26/05/2024: Dans un petit village, très beau, on trouve cette perle. Salle à manger voûtée, accueil charmant, professionele, chaleureux. Menu unique, carte de vins naturels exceptionnel. Toutes les plats sont soignés, cuisinés avec precision, au temperature parfait, ingrédients frais et locale. Des plats neo-bistro: classique et revisité. Le service s'adapte à ton rythme. Nous avons passé 4 heures à table et c'était mémorable. Prix qualité très bon. Ce restaurant mérite un grand détour. Agréable petit terrasse devant le restaurant et sous les arbres sur la place

18/04/2024: Ongelooflijke, talentvolle kok die verrassende en overheerlijke gerechten serveert. Heel tof en gezellig om te lunchen op het pleintje voor het restaurant Zeer vriendelijke en persoonlijke aanpak van de chefkok Robin, met prima hulp van zijn dochtertje

27/07/2024: tandis que les Vans grouillent de monde, on se sent hors du temps au Carmel, bien reçu sans fioriture mais sans mauvaise surprise. bonne continuation aux propriétaires qui entretiennent hôtel et restaurant avec un cachet historique indéniable.

If you are passing through this small village, do not hesitate to stop there for a short break in a quiet and warm place. 12/11/2023: We visited this restaurant in the middle of Saint Jean Chambre for the Castagnades. We were warmly welcomed and the food is excellent. The quality is exceptional, you can enjoy homemade, local food, cooked with love and served with the warmest smiles that you can see in France. The owners welcomed us and took time to explain the dishes and their personal stories. What a nice time! Will recommend 100% and will come back for sure!
