24/10/2024: disappointed. I had reserved a table for 1 p.m. When we arrived, we were told "no no, there is nothing reserved..." then as I insisted, ensuring my good faith...I was told "OK we will create a table for you.... and then Nothing but then Nothing... I think we must have become transparent no one calculated for us anymore... we waited... then in the face of so much unprofessionalism we went to eat elsewhere! Too disappointed!

10/10/2024: Quiet place. The food is quite good for the price, taking into account the range of dining options. Excellent service. They treated us very well. Furthermore, the waitress took the trouble to explain everything to us in English, since we do not speak French. Highly recommended.

15/09/2025: ATTENTION, HIKER FRIENDS: This cottage no longer exists. I just learned about it today while we're hiking the Chemin des Bonshommes next week. I booked in July and paid the full amount for 4 people. I haven't heard from the owner. SO, DON'T PAY ANYTHING AND LOOK SOMETHING ELSE.

15/08/2024: Location: Very good. In the historic center, on a street parallel to Marechal Leclerc Square and all the restaurants and shops. Hotel: old building, beautiful and very well maintained. However, the photo of the facade that appears in the advertisement is totally misleading and heavily modified. There is no small terrace with tables, chairs and flower pots on the ground and above, with hanging plants, all of that is an invention. In reality there is only a narrow sidewalk and cars parked on both sides of the street. Although it is advertised that there is private parking at the hotel, this is not true. You park on the street. On Mondays, because there is a market, it is extremely difficult to find parking. Despite what you see in the photo of the facade, there is no restaurant. Room: We booked a double room. But it was very small. Curiously with a large bathroom, the same size as the room itself. Furniture: Double bed. A single nightstand (since 2 don't fit) and the one there is measures 20cm wide. A very small desk (which only fits a laptop and little else) and a chair. Wardrobe with hangers (skirt hangers are broken) and a single shelf at the top. There is no place to store the suitcase (we had to leave it in the bathroom). On the desk there is a kettle for water and infusions (which we had to put on the floor to fit the laptop). The bedding was very clean. But the duvet is very thick for the month of August. There are no extra pillows or duvets available. Bathroom: Very spacious and without furniture. The sink is very narrow, with no space to put personal hygiene items, only a toothbrush and toothpaste. The mirror has a small shelf, but it is tilted forward, so you can't put anything on it. 2 hand towels, 2 shower towels and one for the floor. Soap, shower gel and shampoo (although the bottles were half full or less). Our room faced the street and was very hot and noisy. Very hot, since the sun shines directly on it for many hours and THERE IS NO air conditioning, just a small tower fan. Therefore, it is mandatory to have the windows open, but then a lot of traffic noise enters throughout the day (from 5 AM) and part of the night (until 12 or 1AM). The hotel is located on Louis Pons-Tande street, with a lot of traffic: cars, garbage trucks, many delivery vans, etc. Perhaps in the autumn and winter months there is no problem with noise, since the windows have good insulation, but in the hot months you cannot rest. Breakfast: Good, but not very varied. It is already served on the table and consists of: a basket of pastries (regular and chocolate croissants) and slices of bread (there is no toaster), an individual packet of butter and two small bowls with two flavors of jam, 1 yogurt, 1 glass of juice, a thermos with coffee (there is no decaffeinated), a jug of milk and different tea packets. Service: the owner, Elena, served us. Pleasant and attentive. He speaks Ukrainian, Russian, English and French. When leaving, we had to pay the tourist tax in cash (they do not accept cards) and they did not have change. In short, the value for money is not good (€129 per night). I do not recommend this accommodation.

10/09/2024: Restaurant que je recommande; Le personnel est tres sympathique et réactif. L’entrecôte frite un poème a elle seule... Il est souhaitable de réserver mais a defaut ils m'ont quand même fait une place.

02/08/2024: Nous arrivons à l' improviste à 4 Sylvia nous accueille avec un grand sourire et beaucoup de sympathie Le menu à 28 euros le soir est succulent copieux , il y a aussi des plats à la carte , pour les enfants frittes maison et burger ou poulet frit maison les produits sont de qualité les quantités sont copieuses et nous sommes de bons mangeurs . Je recommande ce lieux accueillant et délicieux et je reviendrai avec plaisir

19/08/2024: Mauvaise expérience malgré la gentillesse du personnel. Service extrêmement long car très mal organisé (compliqué avec des enfants!! Nous avons attendu plus d’une heure pour être servis). Et en plus nous n’avons pas bien mangé! (Avions pris 1 burger, 1 assiette de charcuterie/fromage et menus enfants avec hamburger). Plats de qualité très moyenne; les produits ne semblaient pas frais; frites pas cuites et grasses. Prix vraiment élevés pour la qualité de la cuisine et du service.

28/07/2024: Je déconseille fortement. cuisine mediocre et service mal fait alors qu'il n'y avait pas grand monde. aucun geste commercial pour le retard et l'oubli d'un plat pour un des amis. Nous ne reviendrons pas.

21/09/2024: After a long day on the bike (crossing the Pyrenees in 8 days) our organizer had reserved this establishment for our group of 14 cyclists. Warm welcome by the boss, I was personally accommodated in the adjoining gîte, very pretty and functional. Simple but delicious evening meal, enough to recharge the batteries.

17/08/2024: Very happy with my stay there The owners are very friendly, the rooms are functional, the prices are correct. Don't hesitate to go to the restaurant, the food is very good and with local products. Breakfast is also a sure bet! It is ideally located for hiking for example
