30/03/2026: We entered the establishment; there were four of us. When we asked for a free table among the many available, the person asked if we were going to eat. I said yes, and immediately afterward, they looked me up and down and said, "Are you sure?" with a horrible look, giving me a bad feeling. We sat down to eat, and the service was a disaster. We waited a long time for the food, and for the price, there are places across the street that are much better. If we return to these slopes, we are sure we will not go to this establishment.

09/04/2026: Well-located restaurant, very good value for money, succulent flank steak and delicious desserts. Only my dish was too salty (guinea fowl in crayfish sauce). Service OK, a good place to eat. (We don't know about the hotel)

04/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome and the staff were very professional. The hotel is very clean, and we appreciated the half-board option with its generous meals and breakfast, which were pleasantly served by both the owner and the waitress.

15/07/2026: Always a pleasure to eat here, there's something for everyone: meat and fish grilled over a wood fire, pizzas, etc... mmm... 🤤 And the terrace under the plane trees is fantastic! 😃 Friendly and welcoming service

27/06/2026: Delivery was over an hour late! The reason given when we called them back was, "Too many pizzas tonight!" Seriously, too many pizzas for a pizzeria is ridiculous. Seriously, that's taking advantage. When you choose to have your food delivered, you should make sure you can actually deliver. Especially since the delivery driver told us they couldn't get the pizzas, while the restaurant said the opposite.

27/07/2026: We stayed here this weekend and I'm going to preface this review by saying that this hotel is exactly what it says on the tin - it's a 2* hotel in an extremely convenient place, for a relatively low price. It's an old building. Is it terribly well-maintained? No. Is it clean and comfortable? Absolutely. It's the kind of place where you stay for a week of skiing so you're on the mountain all day and only in the hotel in the evenings. As a summer getaway from the heat, we really enjoyed being so close to the river and listening to it with the windows open. The facilities in the rooms are somewhat sparse but do include a fridge and a microwave, and there's a kitchenette on the first floor where a kettle, cups and cutlery etc can be found. Ideal for the traveller on a budget that doesn't want to eat out every night. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. Soaps and towels are provided. The hotel is generally not manned, but the couple of staff we did see around were friendly and informative and seemed hopeful to make our stay a good one. I would strongly advise you to follow the instructions given on the website and NOT the instructions provided in the booking email. Along with another family, we turned up at 5pm expecting to be let in, but the desk isn't manned until 6pm. You have to call the number listed on the website to get the code for entry and collect your key from the counter. We ate at the restaurant our first night there and had a good experience. Again, the staff were friendly. The food was solid quality. The recommended wine was very nice. We didn't feel that it was overpriced. Overall, you get exactly what you pay for. The breakfast is mostly prepackaged, but there's fresh bread and fresh coffee (strongly advise to take your own teabags) but it's also only €8 and you can eat as much as you want. If you're looking for convenience, minimal interruption and reasonable pricing, it's a good option.

01/03/2026: Very nice, not too expensive. The rooms are very, very small and it's really right on the road and a bit far from the ski lift to walk to, but it's right on the river, the people are friendly, the water pressure is good in the shower, the beds are very good, the restaurant is very good.

26/08/2026: The raw vegetables were not very crunchy, and the duck confit was very tough.

20/08/2026: The rosé arrives, it's warm, and they don't have any ice (??). So we send it back and order white wine. Then the "rare" ribeye arrives, it's cooked through or almost, and the waitress spills the juices on my mother's trousers (who says nothing). When I go into the dining room, there's absolutely no one there. So I go to the kitchen and speak loudly to see if anyone is there. The young owner comes out, tells me she's going to remake the ribeye, and this time it's served to me... rare (I say nothing more). We started eating, and then... It was insane: a young man (the owner?) came out and literally charged at me, yelling as loud as he could while physically intimidating me. He claimed I'd insulted the girls (completely untrue), that he'd seen it on the security camera, and threatened me: "Get out of here, clear off or things are going to get very bad" (making a fist) and "Take your mother with you" (my mother is 80 years old, she didn't understand either). I couldn't move at that moment because I really thought he was going to hit me when I stood up. In fact, a customer told him not to, and we left. It was 1 p.m., and the twenty or so people on the two terraces witnessed the assault. A report was filed with the police that afternoon.

14/07/2026: I enjoyed the Bastille Day menu today, and it was perfect from start to finish. Beautifully presented, generous portions, delicious, and the side dish was original. There's really not much to say except bravo to the chef and her team! Excellent value for money. Thank you, and don't change a thing! Marc Founaud

08/07/2026: Hello What a disappointment! We come every year, and this time we were very disappointed! The food was bland and not very generous! It felt like we were in a snack bar! The service was adequate but cold! We missed the old team! The atmosphere isn't the same anymore!

16/05/2026: A unique hotel: a former coaching inn. Impeccable room and bathroom. Vintage decor. A touch of the past that sets it apart from typical hotels. The hotel is very well located in the heart of the city.

11/08/2026: Hello, we went as a family to have lunch today. The welcome was cold, unlike the temperature inside! Furthermore, we ordered sandwiches that weren't very cold… I doubt the temperature in the display case was correct. Unfortunately, we didn't see the thermometer in the display case… which should be visible to every customer. Quantity doesn't equal quality! Your establishment offers far too many products… pastries/bread/morning brunch/ice cream/terrace dining/snacks… This results in a lack of quality in most of the products! Finally, a little anecdote from our visit: a family of eight arrived, and the manager offered them two tables of four, but said they couldn't be served at the same time, lol! I don't recommend this restaurant; as the name suggests, you spend more time eating your cutlery than anything else…

11/08/2026: During our short break in Mirepoix, which is a very beautiful town by the way, we stopped at Saveur des Couverts for lunch. The welcome was very cold, practically nonexistent. There was no air conditioning, and the pastries seemed to be suffering. The health inspectors should definitely pay this establishment a visit. There was no organization among the staff, and no customer was treated properly. I think our presence inside bothered the staff, who were already quite irritated, and I even heard a waitress hurl insults at us. In short, I advise you to avoid this place; Mirepoix deserves much better.
