08/02/2026: Very disappointed with our last experience. We often come here as a family for lunch and snacks. This was the last time. We felt like we were bothering them. The comments made to customers were very inappropriate (reductive judgments). The terrace seemed to be monitored from the kitchen. It's a shame, we really liked this place. The waitress was very pleasant, the managers much less so.

Go for it without hesitation, everything is fantastic, exceptional value for money, especially for an overnight stay... it's not like eating in a cafeteria, the food is excellent! 08/04/2026: An exceptional experience at Carré de l’Ange! We discovered this restaurant to celebrate our 25th anniversary, and it was a truly enchanting experience. Parking was very easy right nearby, and we arrived in a magnificent setting with a breathtaking view. This family-run restaurant is owned by a Brazilian chef and her husband, who manages the front of house: a passionate duo whose enthusiasm shines through in both the warm welcome and the delicious food. We had lunch on the terrace, all to ourselves, on a Tuesday afternoon, with splendid weather, which made the moment even more magical. The service was impeccable: the owner took the time to explain each dish with great kindness. We opted for the Cardinal menu at €59, accompanied by drinks (pear cider as an aperitif, sparkling water, white and red wines, and coffees) for a total of €191.50 for two people. The dishes are true works of art: magnificent presentation, original flavor combinations, each bite a delight for the taste buds. A thoughtful touch particularly touched me: the option to choose the apple dessert from the lower menu, as I'm not a big chocolate fan. In short: a superb discovery, a wonderful experience, and a restaurant we wholeheartedly recommend. Thank you to Le Carré de l’Ange for this unforgettable gastronomic interlude!

06/04/2026: Pleasant setting, friendly staff… but it's so expensive!!! The prices are extremely high: ten euros for a glass of sparkling pear cider we had as an aperitif, five euros for a bottle of sparkling water that costs less than 75 cents and is made by them… we assumed it was five euros because the prices were never explained to us. Just two glasses of pear cider, a glass of wine, and two small bottles of sparkling water came to 40 euros, and that's without the meal! Make sure you ask for a detailed breakdown when you pay, because I didn't, and it was only when I got to the car that I realized how much I'd paid.

06/04/2026: We just spent one night there with three campervans. The staff were pleasant, no complaints whatsoever. We ate very well at the restaurant at a reasonable price. Close to the lovely lake.

27/02/2026: For the past few years we've enjoyed this bar and restaurant on the banks of the Saleix stream. We're really looking forward to summer so we can eat there and enjoy the cool air by the water.

The rooms are very, very small and it's really right on the road and a bit far from the ski lift to walk to, but it's right on the river, the people are friendly, the water pressure is good in the shower, the beds are very good, the restaurant is very good.

01/03/2026: Excellent location. We're never disappointed by the restaurant, but the rooms are terrible. The sheets were dirty with ingrained stains, and the same went for the towels. It's a shame; we'll come back to eat, but not to stay!
