30/12/2025: As loyal customers, we ordered a signature yule log which was perfect, and received a very warm welcome despite the crowds.

26/12/2025: Very disappointed with the Christmas log 😔 I expected much better from this pastry!

20/02/2026: A manager who thought there were no customers had the nerve to treat his two smiling, helpful employees like dirt. This is unacceptable. I strongly advise against giving a single cent to such a condescending man who insults his staff.

04/03/2026: A lovely restaurant in downtown Haguenau. The setting and decor are beautiful and cozy. You feel right at home. It's not noisy. The service is pleasant and professional. The food is delicious, the dishes are well-prepared with elegant presentation. One small drawback: we asked for a dollop of whipped cream on the marble cake, which was charged at 50 cents. The price/quality ratio is a tad high for Haguenau compared to a bistro in Strasbourg. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. We recommend it.

28/02/2026: A wonderful discovery at Clem's in Haguenau! We had a truly excellent meal: the dishes were delicious, generous, and beautifully presented. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in the kitchen. The service was quick and efficient, with no unnecessary waiting, yet still pleasant. The team is very professional, friendly, and attentive to customers, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A restaurant I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will gladly return!

14/02/2026: We first visited this restaurant about three years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it at the time: delicious food, efficient service, and a pleasant atmosphere. It was always a pleasure to return. However, since the recent changes, our experience has been very different. On our last visit, we had to wait an hour and a half for our food, which is far too long, especially without any clear explanation or apology. It's a shame, because the quality of the food is still decent, but such a long wait spoils the experience. We hope the service will improve, as this is a place we used to love.

28/12/2025: The lady was super kind and nice, and the hotel in general was good. The room was big enough and clean, and there is a backyard where you can park your car. There were two small things we didn’t like, however: 1. Since it is a pet-friendly hotel, you may sometimes hear dogs barking during the night. 2. There was no trash bin in the toilet, and the toilet and bathroom were separate, which was a bit inconvenient.

10/11/2025: We held our son's wedding at this venue. We stayed for three nights; the bedding was high quality, and the rooms were spacious and clean. As for the wedding reception: Perfect! The quality of the food, the service, and the dedication, reliability, and professionalism of the owner are truly remarkable. The brunch was also excellent, featuring homemade products and a wide selection. On the other days, breakfast was served at our table, with both sweet and savory options available upon request. We felt pampered and valued. We had a wonderful experience with Ms. Daull. We're not from the area, but we will gladly return. As you can tell, we highly recommend it.

09/02/2026: If i could review a zero star i would. I had booked through booking.com about 3 weeks prior to the stay. Unfortunately due to a bereavement in the family we couldnt travel. I had booked the non cancellation booking, but was hoping that they would take a sympathetic view in view of the circumstance and the fact that we were trying to cancel 2 weeks prior to the stay. Booking.com kindly tried to contact them, with no reply, I contacted them on their email address and again no reply. Needless to say monies were taken straight from my account on the due day. So funny how communication was ok in this instance. Its been a very stressful time and this has just added to the stress. I have never had such poor communiation in a hotel as much as this. WOULD NEVER EVER STAY IN THE HOTEL. DO NOT RECOMMEND

23/01/2026: The room was stuck in the 80s. Single-glazed windows, impossible to heat, TV signal loss frequent, hot water inconsistent, toilet with poor drainage, cracked bathtub, and poor lighting in the bathroom. A shame, because the reception and restaurant were friendly.
