The service could be more professional (and less focused on phones behind the bar, munching on sweets), and the food should live up to the prices. Certain details—drinks running low on keg, industrial bread, sloppy maintenance—give the impression of a place that's losing its edge. The experience no longer aligns with the image the restaurant wants to project. As for the chef, he needs to come back down to earth a bit.

01/02/2026: We went back after 5 years, but my opinion hasn't changed. The tarte flambée had an indescribable crust, too much cream, in short, I didn't taste anything like tarte flambée. The staff still hadn't managed to smile, too miserable to be working, one person behind the bar who was bored, two waitresses wandering around and not necessarily asking what we wanted to eat. The only positive point was that the aperitif was taken quickly. So, still disappointed. We won't be going back.
24/01/2026: A very warm welcome, efficient service, and tasty cuisine with local Alsatian dishes but not only, and above all open on Mondays, a rarity in Haguenau!

09/09/2025: DISPLAY THE PRICE OF THE TAKEOUT DISH!!!!!!! This must be the 5th time I've come, and the last. At what point do you justify that eating in costs €2.50 more? Your salads are already expensive to start with, but since it was next to my work it was just convenient. But having to pay almost €3 to eat in on top of that? It's a shame because with that money I would have been going to get another pastry from you. What a waste of money. At least improve your salads before selling them for so much. At least make it worth it.

Your quality and your often recommended service is losing satisfaction... you just have to see the latest reviews. Get back into your business, just because the terrace is finished and the figure is going to drop doesn't mean you have to lose quality ✅ in any case, I won't give it a star because this place is cool 👍

15/12/2025: Passing through for the Christmas market, we stopped to buy three kugelhopfs. Here's a photo of what I was sold (burnt on top and undercooked underneath). €39 down the drain!!!
