05/04/2026: Apparently, at this establishment, you need a dictionary and a full menu to get a €2 coffee. The welcome was icy and the waiter was insulting, treating us like idiots by spelling out the word 'coffee' for us. It's a shame to treat people like that when the business relies on customer service. If you're not there to spend €50, you don't exist. This is a very bad image for Martigues.
22/03/2026: Having lunch in the sun on the terrace of this restaurant was very enjoyable! A warm welcome and good traditional cuisine. Ideal for a break while visiting Martigues.

31/03/2026: It doesn't look like much, but I've known for a long time that appearances can be deceiving.
A very warm welcome, very friendly. The amuse-bouche of sea urchins and oysters with a glass of wine was a delight.
My partner had the scallops and I had the grilled octopus: wow, excellent! The service was quick and efficient; I'll definitely be back.
16/03/2026: I highly recommend it, the restaurant is incredible, they offer a huge variety of specialties, everything is super fresh, the staff and management are lovely, smiling and very welcoming, the location is great, the veranda is super pleasant, there are lots of themed meals with an amazing atmosphere, I highly recommend it, it's a gem.

17/05/2026: We had a problem with one of our dishes, but the waitress offered to waive the charge and suggested a different dish instead. It was a really lovely experience, and I highly recommend the team, the waitress, and the food – an excellent experience!
02/05/2026: Not everything there is good, especially considering the price—over €100—for such low-quality products. Nothing fresh, bagged salad, canned vegetables, etc. Seriously, avoid this place; you pay way too much for the view, the view, and you'll still be hungry afterward.

The atmosphere is pleasant, whether you're looking for a quick bite or a more leisurely meal. A reliable choice that I highly recommend! 👍

26/04/2026: We just wanted a nightcap. The experience was disastrous until our order was taken, and the prices were shocking.
19/04/2026: We ate there yesterday and frankly, the reviews are well-deserved. Flammenkueche, sauerkraut, and a generously portioned chocolate fondant, accompanied by crème anglaise, ice cream, and whipped cream. For a reasonable price, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Plus, the owners were very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

24/04/2026: A completely unacceptable experience from beginning to end.
After a 6.5-hour drive, we arrived at the campsite only to discover that our reservation hadn't been registered. There was no organization whatsoever, and very few solutions were offered despite our situation.
Once we arrived, the problems continued: a power outage lasting over two hours, with no assistance or information provided. As a result, all the food we had stored had to be thrown away.
The mobile home was in an unacceptable state: spider nests, mold on the refrigerator, and even a tarp installed right in the middle of the unit, rusty and outdated furniture (this is supposedly a 4-star campsite!), a broken smoke detector, and cobwebs on the appliances.
The worst part was the management's complete indifference to all these problems. No professionalism, no apologies, and no gesture of goodwill.
A disastrous stay; I strongly advise against staying at this establishment!
21/04/2026: Small but comfortable bungalow. Not too close together. Pleasant, uncrowded pool with entry control. Decent restaurant. Simple but enjoyable entertainment. High price. It's a shame cleaning isn't included. No Wi-Fi in the bungalows and poor 4G reception. Friendly and thorough welcome. A 5-minute walk to the filming locations of the TV series Camping Paradis is recommended for fans of the show. Pleasant air conditioning. TV is an extra charge. Fine sandy beach at Verdon is a 700m walk away. Very pretty coastal walk nearby. Reserved parking space. Bring water sandals for some pebble beaches. No vacuum cleaner. Bring your own cleaning supplies. Small grocery store with bread that must be ordered and paid for the day before; the grocer is friendly and smiling. The baguette wasn't good and was undercooked. 06/03/2026: Very disappointed. We had booked a room to host a birthday party, and the restaurant cancelled the reservation just two weeks before the date… via a simple text message. A complete lack of professionalism. I do not recommend this establishment for organizing events.

Menu EPD 32€. Situé sur l'île à Martigues, le long du canal, le restaurant n'est pas si grand que ça mais propose une agréable terrasse.
La carte est suffisamment variée pour combler tous les goûts.
Nos entrées: 6 huitres carteau et seiches au piment d'Espelette (pour moi), Servi dans un petit saladier, les seiches sont tendres, très goûteuses, tièdies ce qu'il faut pour ne pas cuire la mâche qui apporte la fraîcheur. Un régal !
Puis nos plats, mon épouse qui a pris le thon rouge à l asiatique, sauce base soja salé, sésame et moitié moi le filet de st pierre snack, sauce vierge échalotes servie à part (très bonne idée) avec un risotto champignons des bois. Les 2 furent excellents et bien servis. Les assiettes sont repartis quasi comme neuves.
Enfin dessert tarte tatin et soupe de fraises, les 2 ont été aussi réussis bien que la tatin , à mon goût ne soit pas assez caramélisée, dans l esprit de la recette originale. La soupe de fraises a été incroyablement bonne, fraîche, dense, goûteuse avec une pointe de basilic qui se marit bien .
Un peu d attente entre les plats mais signe d une cuisine Minute, donc oui il faut savoir patienter quand un cuisinier veut faire de la vraie cuisine. Restaurant tenu en famille, le service fut assuré par une jeune femme, très agréable, efficace et attentionnée.
Comment ne pas dire que notre soirée fut très bonne? Vraiment une très agréable surprise, mes 2 critères qualité/prix et quantité/prix sont validés.
Comme je l' ai dit au Chef, venu nous voir, c était une première visite, ce ne sera pas notre dernière. Merci pour ce moment de gastronomie. A bientôt
