21/02/2026: What a wonderful restaurant! We were greeted by Jérôme, a fantastic host. He truly understands his customers. The set menu consisted of a starter of snails, a recipe from his grandmother. A delicious dish of escargots followed, along with tomatoes and small sausages. Our main course, the sirloin steak, was perfectly cooked, the result was excellent. In short, a lovely meal, a good glass of wine, and outstanding service. What more could you ask for when you're dining with friends?

Delicious food from simple no well presented menu. Greta wine choices, of course. Booked online. Simple online reservation, though the acknowledgment email needs to be much more rapid to be reassuring for those travelling. Hopefully this is an easy fix🤞

25/01/2026: A very good experience for a Sunday family lunch. We received a warm welcome, the food was delicious, the ingredients were high quality, the presentation was lovely, and the price was very reasonable. They were very attentive to our dietary needs and adapted the menu accordingly.

13/02/2026: Fantastic experience at this burger joint! Everything was absolutely delicious. The burger meat was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The bun was fresh and soft. The cheese was generously added—a real treat! The service is very welcoming and friendly; you immediately feel at ease. You leave with a full stomach and, most importantly, in a great mood after your visit. I highly recommend it!

21/02/2026: A wonderful discovery! It had been a long time since I'd been back to Angoulême. A great place that's not in the city center, but still easily accessible. In short, excellent meat, a great atmosphere, homemade fries... I was completely full by the end of my meal, and the price was reasonable! I had the 450-gram Charolais ribeye steak! You can go there without hesitation!

04/02/2026: It's become so rare to find a restaurant offering fresh, cooked ingredients that make up such delicious dishes. It's practically impossible, even beyond this region, and all this within the current lunchtime price range. It's so common to find frozen food that it's unbelievable. Starter + Main Course + Dessert, everything is fresh and delicious. Even the coffee is incredibly good. Flavorful, smooth dishes, prepared with love, that make your taste buds dance. Finally, a restaurant where the customer is respected, knowing they'll definitely come back. And all this with excellent service and a smile 😃 A big thank you 🤩 Highly recommended for all lovers of good, balanced, and smooth traditional French cuisine. Without a doubt, this restaurant is the best in the area, to be enjoyed without moderation.

It's clearly the perfect place for epicureans, food lovers, gourmets, and wine connoisseurs… In short, for anyone who truly loves good food. Super fresh, seasonal produce, very generous portions, and especially the discovery of things like cognac cocktails, etc. ... We'll definitely be back, and it's excellent value for money. 27/01/2026: We go there once a month, sometimes more, and it's always a real pleasure. The meat is excellent, the red wine is superb, and the charcuterie is simply incredible. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients; everything is fresh and flavorful. And on top of that, the chef is fantastic: welcoming, passionate, and it shows in the food. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good food and quality ingredients!

17/01/2026: Hello. I highly recommend this restaurant, which, even without going to Brittany, lets you discover specialties from that region. Incredible and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and I would be delighted to return for another excellent Breton crêpe. Have a good evening.

16/02/2026: A three-course meal (starter, main course, dessert, and a glass of wine) for €18. At that price, they even offer an amuse-bouche. The service was quick and pleasant, the dining room clean, but a little bland for my taste. The dishes were beautifully presented and excellent. The only downside, if I had to find one, was the parking.

07/03/2026: For our fifth visit, it was just as perfect as ever. The meat was delicious, and the vegetable gratin was as good as always. The service was quick, even for a table of six in a full restaurant. We will definitely be back!
