I ordered a flat-sized lentil salad even though it was offered as a starter, but the waitress kindly suggested I make it large. Dessert was a very good apple and peach crumble. I recommend: food and service were professional.

27/08/2024: Since the change of management already long ago, this house has declined significantly: what we find on the plate is frankly not great and expensive for what it is. Don't take the cider in a pitcher, it's downright rubbish. And then three hours to eat 2 pancakes is totally excessive! The establishment lives on its laurels. This time it's decided, we won't come back again.

20/09/2024: We have been visiting the inn for a long time and we have never had any bad surprises, everything is delicious with very generous portions, pleasant welcome and impeccable service Regarding dogs, most restaurants refuse them except by the sea when you eat in brasseries outside. We have a dog ourselves and we do not seek to impose it in restaurants.

13/09/2024: Ah, the prestigious restaurant of the Abbaye de Noirlac, a place where, apparently, the only luxury they offer you is that of discovering, at the last minute, that they refuse our dear four-legged companions. Of course, it doesn't show up on Google – why be transparent, right? The management of Google Business seems to be an enigma as mysterious as the abbey itself. But their argument to justify this policy is a masterpiece of mediocrity: perhaps excellence is only found in their cooking, certainly not in their communication. Obviously, this honorable establishment prefers to pamper a handful of “loyal customers”, carefully avoiding opening its doors to newcomers with animals. Ah, the fear of change... If only she were as good at filling tables as she is at turning away dogs. Tonight, she will have what she deserves: a well-deserved void, as hollow as her excuses. A word of advice: if you like traveling with your faithful companion, turn around and find a place where conviviality is not a forgotten concept. Apparently babies are also a second choice for them according to other comments... By dint of choosing your customers there are no more...

31/08/2024: The kind of place that you discover only on the good advice of a local and that you will regret not visiting more often.. And yes, the holidays have an end... menus at such low prices that we want to pay more... I highly recommend.

30/08/2024: Exceptionnel! Endroit simple sans prétention. Merveilleuse surprise: cuisine inventive avec bons produits. Couteaux et demi homard aux agrumes goûteux et parfaitement cuits. Dessert délicieux. 100euros a deux avec apéros et vin de sancerre. Incroyable voilà qui reconcilie avec la tradition des bons restaurants français sans prétention alors qu ils pourraient être très orgueilleux de leur savoir faire, de leur originalité et de leur gentillesse. Ça redonne le moral! Merci au patron un peu bourru et à la charmante serveuse
