25/07/2026: Lack of signage, remove the fencing on the exterior barrier (it looks shabby and gives an impression of neglect), don't forget to do a self-check before opening (no toilet paper at 12:00), remove the dead plants on the low walls inside, service: black boards instead of plates should be used judiciously depending on the dish served. Friendly staff. Weed the surrounding area, access ramp, and stairs. Good luck.

18/07/2026: A very pleasant surprise at this lovely restaurant just steps from the abbey. The cuisine is simple yet refined. The portions are generous, whether it's the monkfish, the salmon, or the sweetbreads, all cooked to perfection. The service is quick and the terrace is very pleasant. I highly recommend it.

20/07/2026: Had a delicious meal at this lovely little restaurant. French cuisine with a contemporary twist. Located opposite the church in the heart of the fairytale-like Aubigny sur Nere. Great service with attention to the children. Not far from the Les Alicourts campsite. Highly recommended.

30/08/2026: We received a warm welcome. The staff and managers were very pleasant and attentive. The rooms are spacious, and the meals are delicious, generous, and everything is homemade. Breakfast was excellent. Thank you!

28/08/2026: We've been coming here every year for five years now. It's always been delicious, but this year the food is very poor, the portions are small, and the prices are higher.

18/08/2026: One of the few restaurants open late and with a wide selection. The lamb shoulder was very good, perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth. Also, since one of us had a slight stomach ache, they even made us pasta without vegetables, charging us only €3 (very fair). The only downside is that the seats on the outside benches are a bit uncomfortable.

17/07/2026: Absolutely delicious. The beef tartare is really excellent. Served with great fries. A real treat! And the waitress is very friendly.

30/07/2026: A dinner in July 2026, on the evening of the France-Morocco quarter-final match. On the terrace, at 9:45 PM, the waiter asked all the customers to pay the bill for the following reason: CLOSING AT 10:00 PM. We had barely left when the staff got into their vehicles, probably in a great hurry to go watch the match. 🤔 Their attitude towards customers was very cavalier and not at all customer-friendly.

20/07/2026: A new venue booked to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We opted for both premium menus. Complete disappointment from beginning to end. Despite competent service that listened to our shared frustration with the main course, the dessert followed suit. Even a waiter admitted the dish was bland and apologized. There was an eighth of a burnt tomato on the plate, the meat was cooked well but completely unseasoned, and the Madeira sauce was served on a plate with no flavor and yellow grease oozing from the topping. The lemon tart had a soggy, lukewarm crust, lacking any real flavor despite small pieces of candied lemon that, in my opinion, weren't made by the chef. The dessert looked like it had been sitting in the refrigerator for several days. In short, we would have loved to write a much more positive review, but our day was a painful memory, especially as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. No change at the till, even though we didn't ask, just a quick word: "I heard things didn't go well." The response: First and last time. A shame, given the lovely setting and the good waitstaff...
