28/08/2026: Located in the heart of Sancerre, this cafe offers plenty of outdoor seating in the square in front of the building, in addition to indoor seating. It's always bustling with customers. Although it's a cafe, they have a wide variety of ice cream, ice cream desserts, and shakes. They also serve alcohol and light meals at reasonable prices. The staff are all friendly and create a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

28/08/2026: Just had a nice drink, and the service and atmosphere were quite pleasant and good. It was nicely situated on the village square. So, it's a top spot for a drink!

24/10/2026: "On leaving school, we met..." It could begin like this. And indeed, if you listen closely, you can still hear the children's laughter, the squeak of chalk on the blackboard, the sharp click of the wooden ruler, and even smell the acrid scent of blue ink that stained our fingers. And then comes recess. This time, it's a feast. The children's laughter has given way to the whispers of the customers, the sweet aroma of porcini mushroom sauce has replaced that of ink, a seafood terrine with scallops precedes a filet mignon in pastry crust, surrounded by red cabbage, which gently fades into a fruit baba. What more can be said? Shh... Let's not spread the word!

09/08/2026: Excellent restaurant. I had the €57 set menu, which included a starter, meat and fish, cheese, and dessert. I wasn't disappointed. The staff was welcoming. This is my second visit. I will gladly return. I highly recommend this restaurant; you won't be disappointed.

19/09/2026: We had lunch as a family with our two children at the little inn! A wonderful time for all four of us! Couscous was on the menu, and it was absolutely delicious! The ingredients were of very high quality and cooked to perfection! We had a lovely chat with the owner, who was also our server. She was very attentive and kind to the children! We'll be back!

04/10/2026: If you come in large numbers (between 10 and 15 already), it will be a very, very, very long wait, and it's a shame the organization is so flawed every time. That's why we only come rarely, because every time... the reason is the same: "We're sorry, but someone didn't come to the kitchen this morning." Every single time... we find it hard to believe after the fourth time. It's a shame because it could be a really nice place.

04/10/2026: A superb setting, but unfortunately a real disappointment on the plate for the €42 "Trend" menu last night. We found no memorable flavors whatsoever, from the appetizer to the dessert, which we didn't even finish. For a semi-gastronomic establishment of this visual quality, one expects much more creativity in the food. It's a shame for such a beautiful place, but at that price, the cuisine simply doesn't live up to expectations.

25/10/2026: Beautiful setting 🤩 The dishes were beautifully presented and very tasty. The crème brûlée dessert was really small 🤨 The service didn't live up to the setting. The waiter was too rushed. The dishes were cleared before everyone had finished eating 😮 The waiter who served the wines seemed inexperienced. Online booking only, which is a shame, and a credit card imprint is required. A little disappointed, even though the place is lovely.

20/09/2026: Pleasant and professional welcome and service. Warm atmosphere. The homemade touch is evident in every dish, which was all delicious. I can't wait to return and enjoy these excellent dishes again. I highly recommend it.
