26/10/2025: A small, typical Corsican restaurant nestled in the heart of the old town, the decor is unique, the menu divine at more than reasonable prices, and the welcome warm.
I highly recommend it; I'll be back as soon as possible.

She served us a delicious plate of charcuterie and cheese, in a wonderful atmosphere.
05/10/2025: What a surprise awaited us behind this little cellar door...
We entered by chance (but was it really a chance?) and were welcomed by a friendly and unusually kind woman. We tasted and then bought some liqueurs, and then left.
We were so impressed by this encounter with Marie-Dominique that we returned at noon to eat a charcuterie board and spend some time with this extraordinary woman.
Three hours and a few drinks later, we resigned ourselves to leaving this place with a heavy heart, but as we strolled around, we were eager to return...

27/10/2025: Very fast service, rather pleasant server, but the food is a bit lacking: pre-cooked pizza dough, fairly average Caesar salad (very little lettuce, which isn't romaine lettuce, moreover, sauce covered in balsamic vinegar...), the black olives on the pizzas and in the salad are blackened green olives (soaked in brine is cheaper), industrial tarte tatin with a piece of plastic left on top, individual bread rolls that seem to be industrial.
In short, relatively affordable dishes but without any soul.
06/10/2025: In the off-season, there weren't many people, but the service was fast and the food was decent.
One small drawback, however, was that we were inconvenienced by a waiter who was smoking inside the restaurant—really not great!

09/12/2025: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant in Sartène. The owner is very friendly, welcoming, and hardworking, and of course, a very good cook. We will definitely return to this place soon.

24/10/2025: The cook spent her time reaching into her hair, even under her armpits!!!! She went out to smoke and never washed her hands. She adds peanuts and potatoes with her unwashed hands!!!
I looked at my meal for a long time before touching it. No lock on the toilet. The meal was heated in the microwave in front of us. And we paid more than the advertised price.

19/03/2026: Highly recommended hotel. We stayed there off-season, and it was very peaceful. Our room was lovely, clean, and had a comfortable bed.
The view from the balcony was absolutely magnificent.
The only slight drawback was the very basic but rather expensive breakfast at €11 per person.
26/10/2025: Well located for exploring Sartene, with free parking, which is a real plus. The view from the restaurant/breakfast room is beautiful. We spent one night in a triple room on the second floor (i.e., below the reception floor). The room was large, with a balcony overlooking the valley. There was a shower room with a toilet. The double bed was very comfortable; however, the third bed was a sofa bed, which proved rather uncomfortable (even though it was occupied by our 11-year-old daughter, so not suitable for a third adult). The shutters provide good blackout, which allows for good darkness. The only downside: the soundproofing...
A simple but tasty breakfast with a sufficient selection of sweet and savory items.
In summary: unbeatable value for money considering the location, free parking, and breakfast. In our case: €125 for three, including breakfast. It's hard to beat.

02/09/2024: Nous avons passé un très bon moment en déjeunant sur la terrasse ombragée, très bon rapport qualité prix pour la formule corse avec une mention spéciale pour le moelleux à la châtaigne.

09/08/2025: Ten liqueurs and a dozen videos later, we can confirm that the welcome is incredibly warm. Everything here is homemade! Jean Laurent admirably bottles Corsican specialties: immortelle, cedra, clementine, and 3C (top secret)! Thank you again for the liqueurs served and the many explanations of the artisanal processes on this beautiful birthday.
13/07/2025: A wonderful couple, very welcoming and incredibly kind. The products are homemade and delicious! The prices are affordable, cheaper than in supermarkets, for more flavor and enjoyment. An authentic shop, with the option of having products vacuum-packed, very convenient for air travel. A big thank you!
