06/02/2026: A very warm welcome and a perfect location, just a 3 or 4 minute walk from the narrow streets of the town center and the port: simply follow the pretty little stream. The breakfast buffet was very nice, and there's also a good restaurant in the hotel, but we didn't have the chance to try it.

27/01/2026: The staff were very welcoming. The room was very comfortable and quiet, with a good bed. It's very well located, a 5-minute walk from Lyon Perrache train station and 10 minutes from Place Bellecour. Excellent value for money. This was my third stay, and I would gladly return. Rue de la Charité is very pleasant (shops, restaurants).

30/12/2025: A very warm welcome at the bullfight on December 26th, even though it was quite crowded. Welcome smiles, quick and efficient service. Everything was delicious, with quality products. Well done! A big plus: no event-related price gouging.

05/03/2026: We had the three-course meal (starter, main, dessert) for €21.50, and it was absolutely delicious! From the salmon waffle to the incredibly tender steak, generous homemade fries, and choice of sauces, and finally, a truly gooey chocolate fondant. The food was of very high quality; we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was quick but not rushed, and very friendly. I highly recommend it; it was perfect.

04/03/2026: A very warm welcome. Despite arriving quite late, we were served respectfully. I tried the €39 set menu, which included: roasted Camembert with honey and walnuts as a starter (very good, cooked perfectly), tandoori chicken skewers as a main course with fries (a little overcooked) and a salad, and crème brûlée for dessert (very good). I also tried the salmon in another dish; it was a little under-seasoned, and I don't usually eat very salty food. I want to emphasize my sincere thanks for the warm welcome and the respect shown by the servers. I highly recommend this restaurant.

03/03/2026: This is my second time in the area, and I keep coming back to this lovely restaurant. The lunch menu is excellent. Good value for money. The starter buffet is well-stocked. Choice of three good-quality main courses. One drink included in the set menu (wine or non-alcoholic). A spacious dining room. Pleasant service.

06/12/2025: A pleasant surprise. We arrived around 1 p.m. on a Sunday and received a rather cold welcome. But things quickly warmed up. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and have very fond memories of it. Everything was delicious and fresh. The hare terrine was particularly good.

The welcome is friendly, it's very down-to-earth, and that's what makes this place a warm, welcoming place where you feel good and want to come back. The owner and her team are super friendly. 23/08/2025: Reservations are highly recommended. Café de l'Étoile / Baramoules was recommended to us during our vacation, and we're delighted to have enjoyed some excellent moules frites there! A variety of sauces are offered, all excellent! We go there for the simplicity, the owner Viviane, the very pleasant waitresses, and the beach buckets as shell buckets! 😉 €125 / 5 people, main course, dessert, drinks
