15/08/2026: From the dishes to the ambience and decor, including the crokery, everything in this little place suggests attention to detail and the hostess' true love for good honest food and a cosy atmosphere. I appreciate the set daily menu with a couple options for starters and mains (so one needn't think too much), and the spectacular desserts. I had the carrot cake and it was to die for. When you eat and drink so well, with such lovely napkins, cutlery, plates and cups, and, on top of everything, you're sitting literally in the hearth, with a nice soundtrack of songs, you have to be comfortable and happy. Cheers for Julie, who single-handedly looks after everything. If I'm back in Dinan, I'll surely call on Clafoutis again.

14/07/2026: Passing through Dinan on the evening of July 14th, Be New is truly an excellent place. Fast service, very friendly welcome. Very, very good farm cider and delicious galettes and crêpes.

11/07/2026: We were very well received, even with a dog. He even got a drink before us! 😉 The galettes are delicious and generous. Everything makes you want to go back.

14/08/2026: Excellent meal! Tender and delicious meat, a wonderful sauce, and fries just the way we like them. The salmon carpaccio was divine! We're so glad we went in. It was fantastic!

16/08/2026: Lovely terrace with its wooden railings 😍. Quiet place with music. I highly recommend it! Seafood skewers with prawns and scallops. Excellent beef tartare and divine red berry tiramisu 🤩. Very good value for money!!

05/08/2026: A very good little restaurant overlooking the square with a shaded terrace. Two interesting set menus with something for everyone. The only slight drawback was the average seasoning. Otherwise, everything was perfect. I recommend it.

05/08/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant. The cuisine is refined and delicious. The menus are appealing with plenty of choice. The only slight drawback was the somewhat long wait between the appetizer and the main course, but otherwise everything was perfect!

07/08/2026: A very warm welcome. The kebabs and their sides are excellent, and the portions are generous. The ice cream is delicious and served in generous quantities. I tried the Italian-style steak tartare and found it very good. The service is top-notch: friendly, quick, relaxed, and professional all at once. We thank the entire waitstaff who came to wish our friend a happy birthday; she was very touched. This restaurant is suitable for all ages, from family gatherings to romantic outings.

23/08/2026: The service was terrible. There were three of us, and two had to wait a very long time. The herb sauce had sand in it. And they didn't explain to us about the sweet pancakes, which, it turns out, were on the menu. So, we paid for the crackers and a small bowl of green salad as if we were paying for three full menus. We won't be coming back here again...

22/08/2026: This is a lovely little crêperie! And very, very busy... I had to try three times to finally get a decent meal, and each time the waiter greeted me with a warm smile and was very patient despite the constant rush. 👏 The salmon galette with seaweed tartare was excellent... I adore seaweed tartare, so I was in heaven! Moreover, the menu is very reasonably priced for its originality.

26/07/2026: We were seated, 20 minutes later after calling the waitress twice, still nothing.

23/07/2026: Everything was perfect. Great pancakes, both savory and sweet. Friendly service, even though we arrived just before closing time, no one pressured us or threw us out.

08/06/2026: Our hiking group had a wonderful evening at the Saint Louis. The welcome was very warm and the service impeccable. The homemade dishes were delicious. Excellent value for money for a Saturday night! We highly recommend your establishment.

08/06/2026: Reservation made on Friday for Sunday lunch, no message received, refused because the restaurant was closed due to a technical problem. The least they could have done was let us know. Beware if you book at this restaurant to avoid a similar experience.

It's so cozy ☺ The menu is lovely, offering a variety of choices, appetizers that are a welcome change from the usual, dishes bursting with flavor, and generous portions that leave you wanting more. The cheese platter was divine! The wines lived up to expectations, and they even went out of their way to help customers choose the perfect wine if they weren't sure which one to select. A few questions asked when ordering were spot-on, and they helped me find the ideal wine to suit my taste (my mom ☺). In short, a 5-star experience without hesitation!! I'll definitely be back ☺☺
