09/05/2026: Not crowded at all in the city or in the restaurants for a May 8th weekend. The food is excellent, as is the service. The patio is pleasant. We came on the recommendation of a restaurant owner whose place was closed that day. A place to remember.

26/04/2026: For a weekend, I had the opportunity to spend two nights at the Puy d'Anché farm: a wonderful and peaceful setting, close to town and its amenities, a very pleasant room, a spacious bathroom (and separate toilet 👍), perfect bedding... And a major bonus: the possibility to recharge your vehicle!!!!

29/04/2026: A restaurant not to be missed if you're passing through Thouars. Excellent cuisine, the monkfish with vanilla sauce was exceptional, and the meal was superb from start to finish. The waitress was also very friendly. ☺️

Everything is homemade, and we truly appreciate the work of the owner and his wife (dessert 🤩), who make everything themselves with passion. You can taste the authenticity, the expertise, and above all, the flavor: it's delicious.
Not to mention the little touches we appreciated (tapenade, amuse-bouche), which are rare at this price. Bravo to them, and thank you again for this wonderful experience!

22/05/2026: The owner, Jean, is super friendly and welcoming, and his wife, Kenza, is the same. I always have a great time at their place; I ate there today at lunchtime. Their gratin sandwich is huge. Honestly, come, you won't be disappointed, and what's more, they regularly host Mauritian or Réunion-themed evenings. It's excellent.

28/04/2026: We received an excellent welcome, despite arriving without a reservation and at a late hour. A wonderful discovery as we were passing through for a weekend camping trip. Thank you for the warm welcome, the service, the excellent cut of beef, and the delicious dessert.
25/04/2026: We've been going to this restaurant for 22 years and have never been disappointed.
The food is excellent and original: the dishes are beautifully presented and exquisite.
The menu changes several times a year, a great reason to try the different dishes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
The manager and his team are very welcoming. It's always a pleasure to go to this restaurant.

The €15 set menu, plus €2 for the salad, savory buckwheat crêpe, sweet crêpe, and bowl of cider, is excellent value for money.
The service is warm and welcoming.
We highly recommend it.
