31/08/2026: I love coming here; I'm becoming a regular. The bill always stings a bit, but I know what I'm paying for. The service is top-notch, the servers are attentive and offer great advice, and the food is always high-quality and expertly prepared. The dining room is a little small, which might make it seem a bit noisy, but that's... well, that's up to the customers!

24/07/2026: Superb lunch today. I had the menu du jour which was very good value at €18 for 3 courses. The garden space was attractive, with sails to protect us from the sun (and a nice breeze). Will definitely return.

06/07/2026: Hello, I had lunch on July 5th. For my daughter's 40th birthday, there were six of us: five adults and one child. We had a wonderful time; the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. Thank you to the chef for the raspberry cake; it was light and creamy 😋. And thank you to Karine for treating us to the menu for my grandson, Mattéo. We had a fantastic time. We will definitely be back. Thank you to Karine and Fabrice. ❤

06/08/2026: A restaurant right in the city center that serves good food. I had a Reblochon burger which was generous and very tasty. It came with a mixed vegetable salad and homemade fries. I wanted to have a milkshake for dessert, but they don't make them with plant-based milk. I recommend it if you're in the area.

06/08/2026: Great restaurant in the center of Thouars. Very reasonable prices; for around €15 you can get the daily special or a main course and a drink. Excellent chorizo ​​burger, the "Gringo." The chorizo ​​was slightly overpowering, but for its originality and deliciousness, it was worth it. Friendly waiter, a great find.

05/07/2026: A very nice starter, fresh and delicious. The fish dish was well-cooked and flavorful, but not spicy enough for my taste and there wasn't enough garnish (1/8 of a zucchini was undercooked and there were only 8 peas). The dessert was inedible: savory and chocolate mousse in 30-degree heat. Strawberry soup or ice cream would have been much better. So, mixed feelings.

01/09/2026: The wait between courses was too long. The beef tataki was inedible, too tough. The steak tartare was sloppily cut with a knife. The tartare preparation wasn't great. Consider changing the head chef. I know the Hippopotamus in Nancy very well; it's perfect. Find the people in charge, or you'll go out of business.

26/08/2026: Passing through, we found THE bar we'd spotted online that was perfect for us! The service was welcoming, warm, and friendly. A lovely terrace, good beers, and great advice for visiting Puy du Fou. I highly recommend it.

11/09/2026: A must-try for food in Parthenay! The beef bourguignon is to die for! The mashed potatoes with Pamplie butter are exceptional; I've never had such good mashed potatoes in a restaurant. And the crème brûlée brioche is simply divine, as the owner and his team would say, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Only local products are used in this generous cuisine, full of flavor and showcasing a love for quality.
