19/04/2026: A pleasant place, the owner welcomes you with a smile. However, the staff is incompetent. The waiter couldn't even fillet a fish. Regarding the drinks, they can't distinguish between a Burgundy and a Bordeaux. But to get to the main point: the food is really quite average. After all, it's hard to make a piece of John Dory bad. But as for everything else, everything else is very average. If that's all you're looking for, then go for it.

17/04/2026: Restaurant review: Located along the port. Easy parking. This restaurant doesn't need much more for four people. A nice, straightforward menu in a rather relaxed setting. However, the service is very inconsistent. The young man who served us repeatedly forgot what we ordered, or even made mistakes. Dirty cutlery. The food is good, except for the fish soup, which was disappointing. Set menu (starter, main course, dessert) for €39. The à la carte menu is varied but a bit pricey.

22/05/2026: We had a fantastic evening with friends! The restaurant is excellent, we ate very well and had a lovely time. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. A really nice touch: we finished the evening at the bar downstairs, with a great atmosphere… and even ended up on the dance floor! A great place for a fun and satisfying evening out. We'll definitely be back!

06/06/2026: The cheesy burger and the classic burger are exactly the same (okay, the waitress even warned us, but still!), the Metro chocolate fondant is expensive for what it is, and the aged rum listed on the menu is actually a bottle of VO rum, which tastes like a mediocre rum cut with water and sweetened. But the service is very friendly, a definite plus!

01/06/2026: I've never seen anything like it. An hour's wait and still no aperitif. I mentioned that my husband is diabetic and would like a few snacks. We're still waiting. So after an hour, we got up and left. The waitress explained that she was alone, but in fact, she's completely untrained for this job. Judging by the few plates served around us, I'm very glad we changed restaurants. I don't think this place will last long.

07/06/2026: Booked for a group of about ten people. One star for the service because zero is not an option. The waiter's friendliness must have been optional; he sighed when taking our order, and again when splitting the bill. He should consider a career change. Luckily, his colleagues were much nicer.

19/04/2026: We arrived as a group of 10 on a Sunday at lunchtime without a reservation. We received a warm welcome, excellent pizzas and Milanese cutlets. The dessert was very generous.

05/04/2026: The waitress was unpleasant and unhelpful, and the young man was the same. After just 10 minutes at the table, they were already pushing us to order more. And they made it clear we should leave if we didn't hurry up and finish our drinks before ordering another. I see that the best reviews were left by friends and acquaintances to attract as many customers as possible. There are much better places in Brest.

13/06/2026: We were disappointed with room 26; the mechanical ventilation was very noisy and we slept poorly. The lighting in the bathroom was very poor, making it impossible to see ourselves properly in the mirror, and there was no magnifying mirror for applying makeup, which even less prestigious hotels often have these days. The bedside lamps also provided insufficient light. On the other hand, we greatly appreciated the warm welcome and the reception staff, as well as the staff in the gourmet restaurant. The meal was also delightful.

28/05/2026: I've been eating at Abalone for several years. Everything is excellent (sushi, maki, ramen, mochi...) and the quality is consistently high. The wait time is short and the service is friendly. I highly recommend it; it's the best Japanese restaurant in Quimper and the surrounding area!
