And they made it clear we should leave if we didn't hurry up and finish our drinks before ordering another. I see that the best reviews were left by friends and acquaintances to attract as many customers as possible. There are much better places in Brest.

The place is lively, the clientele friendly, the regulars welcoming. You feel right at home. My favorite neighborhood bar, I come back every time. 🍺

09/05/2026: I went with the Rawa-Ruska Association. Everything was perfect: the welcome from the staff, the food, the service.

24/04/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. The service was lacking: not enough staff to handle the crowds, resulting in a 30-minute wait… only to end up not receiving the correct dishes. As for the food, a major drawback: the duck breast was undercooked, very fatty, and clearly not worth €22. We weren't even asked how we wanted it cooked when we ordered, nor were we asked for a side dish or sauce, which is surprising for this type of dish. The new potatoes were rock hard and inedible. When we explained the situation at the time of payment, no compensation was offered despite all these inconveniences. And to be clear, we didn't even order dessert. Finally, the restaurant's terrace should be non-smoking. It makes sense that the bar's terrace is suitable for smoking, but not a space where people eat. And finally, several seagull attacks during the meal, which certainly didn't improve the experience. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

16/03/2026: Coq'inn Kergaradec is a modern and very clean self-service restaurant. They offer a wide variety of starters, desserts, and main courses (around ten main courses). Most of their dishes are homemade. The food is good and served in generous portions. The staff is friendly and even pleasant. A tray consisting of a starter, a main course, cheese, a dessert, a bread roll, a small butter, and a Coke cost me less than €20. It's packed every lunchtime, but there will always be a seat for you, and it's undoubtedly the best value for money cafeteria in Brest.

18/02/2026: Good self-service restaurant with very professional staff, especially with children. They brought trays right to us; we were a party of 10 including children, and a table was set up immediately without us even asking. Once again, bravo and hats off to the staff of this establishment; they truly demonstrate their expertise.

12/05/2026: It's a disgrace to call themselves a crêperie and an embassy to boot! The takeaway crêpes were very poorly made, thick, and not even hot when ordered! In short, I definitely don't recommend it! Avoid it and choose real local crêperies instead.

21/03/2026: A BHV department store whose clientele has changed in recent years. The customers are amusing, very colorful. There are many smiling faces, others more angry, who seem to resent the whole world. Yet the food and drinks served are top-notch. The steak-frites are excellent. The chocolate mousse is unrivaled. And the coffee is strong and invigorating, just the way I like it. Next to this excellent eatery is a wooden carousel playing soft and more strident notes under the Mayor's office.

11/03/2026: Waffle with hot chocolate The waffle was microwaved, and on top of that, the chocolate looked like chocolate dog food. I do not recommend it.

09/05/2026: I don't usually leave negative reviews. I love Izee restaurants, and I hadn't had the chance to go to the one in the Jaurès shopping center for quite some time. I stopped by with a friend on Thursday afternoon. The restaurant was practically empty, so we quickly ordered two milkshakes, which I paid for, and we were told they would be brought to our table—no problem so far. Except the wait was long, very long... My friend went to check on them, and they told her that the order had simply been forgotten, that it would be prepared and brought... Another long, very long wait... So my friend went back to check on them, and this time the person was downright rude to her. She was serving someone else she knew, as they were deep in conversation. After curtly saying, "It's being prepared," the person, to her acquaintance, displayed a very pronounced look of exasperation towards my friend. When you don't know how to work in a business with a minimum of respect for the customer, especially when you're in the wrong, you should refrain from doing so! Especially since my friend and I are far from being problem customers.

23/04/2026: We ordered two coconut bubble teas. Both drinks arrived, but one was a different color and tasted like water. I explained that the drink was very bland and had no flavor. Eventually, the drink was replaced. I want to emphasize that the employee who remade the drink was respectful and professional. However, the cashier's behavior was very poor and truly disrespectful.
