01/03/2026: A very disappointing stay at the Best Western L'Orangerie hotel.
The hotel is generally quite outdated and absolutely does not meet the standards expected of a 4-star hotel. In our room, there was no proper lighting in the main room, only two bedside lamps, which made the atmosphere very dark and unpleasant.
The bathroom was also subpar: the paint was peeling and gave an impression of neglect and lack of cleanliness, which is a real shame for this category of hotel.
We had booked a king-size room, but this was clearly not the case. For me, a 160 cm bed is not a king-size bed, especially when you choose this type of room specifically for comfort.
Having stayed at the hotel regularly, we can say that the advertised standard is not met. We were very disappointed by this experience.

25/02/2026: We received a very poor welcome. We booked for 1:30 PM and arrived at 1:45 PM. The only comment was, "You're late." We've always been satisfied before, but this time we were very disappointed. What a shame!
14/02/2026: I ordered a hot chocolate and a chocolate crepe (yes, I love chocolate 😊). The hot chocolate was served with water, no chocolate at all. Just the color 😏 €4?! The crepe was made with industrial chocolate and had absolutely no chocolate flavor. Just sugar.
In short! If you want a good hot chocolate and a good crepe with real chocolate, don't go there.

22/11/2025: I love this bistro/restaurant/bodega! Le Onze is very friendly, perfect for a great time. Being able to sing karaoke in the bar in the evening makes the atmosphere truly fantastic and festive. A great place not to be missed!
07/09/2025: Avoid this place. The owner bows easily when he's in front of you, but behind you...
He doesn't know how to mess around with his customers. The new waitress, we won't talk about her, asks the customer the price of a jet 27.
And when you order two jets, depending on who pays, it's not the same price.
It's all up to the customer.

The place is racist.
27/11/2025: If you think you'll be greeted with a smile, don't go there, unless it's the first cold weather that has chapped the servers' lips, there are plenty of other nicer bars in Nîmes.

18/01/2026: Disappointed by the behavior of the older waiter.
Inappropriate remarks.
He loudly called us idiots to his colleague because we asked for details due to allergies.
When we asked for a cheeseburger, he replied, "McDonald's is further away." A very peculiar sense of humor that we didn't appreciate, but he continued, even asking the next table if we were bothering them.
It was excessive.
It's a shame because the food was good and the waitress was very pleasant. There were 10 of us, and we won't be returning to this place.

We received a very warm welcome, our food was hot and delicious, and there was little waiting time.
The service was excellent.
The food is typical of a brasserie.
We recommend it.

15/01/2026: A wonderful surprise at Domino's! This restaurant greatly enhanced the good mood I felt during my visit to Nîmes over a few days. I made two visits and was pleasantly surprised from the very first. The pizza chef was highly skilled and deserves recognition for her dedication, even during the busy service. Furthermore, the warm welcome was also noteworthy, highlighting their mastery at every level! Go for it, everyone!
21/10/2025: After an hour of waiting and two calls to the Domino's restaurant, a complete lack of professionalism was demonstrated. I spoke to a gentleman who clearly told me he couldn't know where my order was because he couldn't contact them, and that the delay was Uber's fault.
After an interminable hour of waiting, the delivery man arrived as if nothing had happened.
I asked him two simple questions: The first, who hired you, and the second, "Can Domino's contact you?" The answer was yes.
I spent my evening calling every 20 minutes to make sure my order arrived cold.
On top of being ungrateful and treating customers like idiots on the phone, they're incapable of handling a single order.
This is the first and last time I'll order from this so-called company.
If you continue to treat customers like idiots on the phone, you'll go far.
It's a disgrace.

A disaster.
Brioche not great starving and cold filling, main course: the fish was not salty the risotto was not cooked and without salt too, the dessert looked like a failed chocolate mousse, we looked in vain for the crunch of the crumble and the hot cold contrast announcement.
The lady in charge of the room kindly offered us 2 glasses of wine to compensate for the mediocrity of the dishes.
I hope for the restaurant that it was an evening without, but we will not return there.
I'm not in the habit of leaving bad comments but given the tasteless nature of the meal from start to finish...
