08/06/2026: The service was very slow and haphazard (a few mistakes). The buffets are no longer up to standard. I knew Vatel Brasserie, which was of a different caliber.
Customers serve themselves, and there's no supervision, so some people dip their fingers into the dishes to taste the sauces and then lick them clean...
Only the dishes that arrived one by one, two hours later, were good.

04/01/2026: A lovely spot nestled in an artsy courtyard, a bohemian yet decidedly bourgeois wine cellar, and delicious food. A delightful evening at reasonable prices in a unique setting.
02/11/2025: It's definitely number 9; you can't miss the porch with its large wooden door, but you have to look up to see the rather discreet sign. Inside, you'll find a patio with a monumental stone table, numerous potted trees—lemon, orange, jasmine—and a room where jazz concerts are held if you happen to be there on the right day. An oasis of greenery in the heart of Nîmes, it's a restaurant, bar, and live music venue all rolled into one... it all depends on your luck and your mood.

28/05/2026: Super friendly service, good food, fantastic atmosphere (exactly what I wanted). It was sparsely populated at 1 p.m., which was pleasant. They didn't have the paella I wanted, so I opted for the excellent fish and chips (fried fish fillet, chips, salad). They brought me a large carafe of water without me even asking. The coffee was superb. The bill was so low, I could hardly believe it. That left more for the tip.

24/05/2026: I came back after several years during the Feria with an important guest. I had a paella, and I should have ordered a side dish too, but the rice was a little overcooked. However, the portion was generous and delicious. The sangria was good; I would have liked some ice on the side.
The service was very pleasant and friendly, typical of the South. Thank you to all the staff!
16/05/2026: One of the best restaurants in town! Great value for money, and the welcome is warm and friendly, just the way we like it. The food is excellent; in short, I highly recommend it, you won't regret it 😌.

23/04/2026: The meat was exceptional and very well cooked. The presentation was a bit sparse: a lettuce leaf, a cherry tomato, or something similar.
But I'll be back soon to this restaurant with its superb setting.

01/06/2026: We made a reservation for 13 people on the Sunday of the Feria and had a wonderful day. From aperitifs to dinner, everything was perfect: Aldo (the owner) was incredibly welcoming, his team was fantastic—attentive, kind, and as pleasant as could be. The drinks and food were well-presented and delicious. We stayed almost all day in a great, festive atmosphere...go without hesitation!

18/04/2026: A huge thank you to Momo and Christian! We came for my partner's birthday on a Saturday evening. The welcome was superb, there was hardly any wait, and the food was delicious! They were always smiling and had a touch of humor that adds to the charm of the place.
We highly recommend it, and we'll be back soon!

14/04/2026: Very disappointed with the galettes... the batter was too thick to cook on just one side, and there was absolutely no butter! It's not a Breton galette... I'm really very disappointed. I didn't even try the crêpes.
I'm replying to the owner; no, this isn't a fake review. I have the right to say it's not good... I've been making galettes every Friday for 30 years!

16/04/2026: We arrived at 7:50 PM and waited over 20 minutes before our drinks were even served. Meanwhile, a group of four arrived after us, and we were served drinks plus a main course (there were only two of us). We are regulars at this establishment, so we were quite surprised to see that the appetizer to share, still at the same price, had been reduced by more than half in size.
16/04/2026: I was familiar with the one in Colmar, where I used to go near the cinema.
I've only been here once so far; the Queen Victoria salad was very good, and the poached egg was perfect. The service was pleasant, and I'll be back.

22/04/2026: I don't usually post bad reviews, but I have to this time. The welcome from the waitress and her companion Rambo, who thinks he's something special, was horrendous. Honestly, they should change careers; you're absolutely terrible. On the other hand, the waitress who worked there in the afternoon was wonderful and smiling, but I think the owners don't see anything wrong with that, or maybe they're just like them.
13/04/2026: Excellent bakery
We ordered a mille-feuille for 15 people for the first time. The quality and quantity were excellent for the price; all my guests thoroughly enjoyed it. It's unacceptable that the servers are harassed by rude people; they get assaulted every time. They should just ignore it and remember only the kind and smiling faces. Absolutely recommended!

04/05/2026: We are from Uzès, we were disappointed with our first experience at the bistro, it doesn't correspond to a menu of a starred restaurant even for the bistro version, it was really ordinary, a slightly electric atmosphere in the team perhaps because of the management of the lady in red who is a little tired 😏So we will not try the gastro.
